It's wonderful to see the band engaging and interacting with the fans even during soundcheck ! Proof that the ladies love to engage with the crowd in a smaller venue.
To all the people complaing about the size of the venue the ladies seemEd to love it. Better to sell a small venue and sell out and decide to upgrade or book a sEcond concert at a largere venue than to sell a large venue and be half empty. I see a lot of parallels with my other favourite band - Band-Maid. Pre covid they toured the UK, Europe and USA playing very small clubs. One of them Hamburg I think it was even had a pillar in the centre of the stage (the famous 6th member). The fans were so close to Kanami when she went into Mincho mode the fans were able to touch, strum her guitar. Love bites approached the gig at New Cross Inn with pofessionalism and engaged the fans and they seemed to be having a great time especially Asami and Fami
@@TheCyberMantis The thing is though, this WAS not much more than an hour before the show. They were having a lot of trouble with the in ear monitors and sound levels, and so I suspect were running very late. The doors opened at the time advertised, and I think we were all surprised to see them still doing the sound check. At the time this was recorded, (I can see myself in this video, in the crowd near the stage) I had been to the merch stall, which was downstairs from the auditorium, to buy some stuff, having to queue for about 15 minutes for that, before coming back up to what you see in the video. The ladies coped with a very difficult situation with great composure. My already high opinion of them has reached new heights.
I am 72 years old and I am an absolute fan of these young women and seeing them in this hutch saddens me deeply. What do managers do? It’s pathetic and borderline humiliating for them! When we see the rooms filled by the 3 sisters of The Warning it seems incredible to lock Lovebites in a room the size of a public toilet!
@PaleHorseShabuShabu I was there when this was happening and even though I was surprised by the situation, there was a bonding going on. @@PaleHorseShabuShabuseeing that they were signed to the same label that handles the distribution as Nightwish and Jinjer, they know what they are doing. They are testing the waters on their own as the headline act, so if we pack the venues, they’ll get bigger venues. That is exactly what happened with the venue in Los Angeles.

They were playing smaller venues. Everyone was having a great time, band was really happy too. Good shows. I watched an interview with Noora, and she was really positive about the tour.
@@TheCyberMantis I've seen it firsthand. Prior to starting the tour, Nightwish announced only 3 North American stops: Los Angeles, Boston, and Toronto. Toronto was cancelled, yet they toured more around the country and played smaller venues. They now know better, but the issue is that the US (and UK) metal scenes have completely gone downhill since the early 1990s (especially in the USA: Thanks, Nirvana and Grunge!). Because of that, it's harder to get a bigger footprint here, but LoveBites can do it because of how many over here still draw their influences from classic metal and NWOBHM bands.
Just got home from the Belgium show and it was amazing but who ever they put in charge of the sound(FOH) should be banned for life from ever stepping behind a soundboard again!!!
@@lard1892 I agree. I constantly ask people if they know of Lovebites, and not one has ever said yes. Even at guitar stores where you would think someone would have heard them. It's the same bullshit as not selling their blu rays over here. You can buy all their albums here, but when it comes to blu rays you have to order them from Japan or you have to find a shop that imports them directly from Japan. For some reason it's the same with Band-Maid or Nemophila.
