I find it extremely annoying that Apple isn’t still offering light/dark mode wallpapers in ios 16. I don’t customize much on my phone, but this was the thing that I did… Fortunately the ios 15 default wallpaper is still in my wallpaper history, and it still works between light and dark mode, but I’m getting sick of it and it’s my only option for this feature.

Got an iPhone for the first time in my life. A 14 pro. It lasted a month and that's because this is how much time I had to wait for the new pixel 7 pro. Man the iPhones are hard to get used to. They want you to do everything their way. Things like this is why I switched back to android. Stock android experience is the best in my opinion
Wow that's 2 of the things I prefer about Android over IOS. Icons at the bottom of the screen and transparent widgets! I have an iPod on iOS 15. I might try messing around for a minimal music focused home screen.
As someone coming from Android, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. I bought the pack, but are the moonrise and sunrise widgets essentially the same? I can't spot any differences.
@@Spugalugs Honestly at this point they are very similar. There are trade-offs to be had on both sides. For instance, I prefer the notification system on Android. I’m still trying to get the hang of it on iOS. On the other hand, almost every app runs better, and looks better on iOS. This is due to developers only having to develop for one phone, the iPhone on the Apple side. For Android, they have to ensure compatibility with every Android phone out there, and in my opinion, we the end-user get a compromised experience, even if it’s on a flagship like the Samsung S22. I thought I would miss having the S-Pen, but I don’t. I got out of the habit of using it to be honest, and I’m happy using Siri to take notes with my voice into the Notes app. Everyone throws around the word ecosystem when it comes to Apple, but there’s no doubt about it, it’s awesome even if you have an Apple TV or an iPad, it’s nice how things just flow together. The latest update to iOS brings a lot of customization, in terms of widgets, which brings me much closer to the experience I was getting on Android. I’m still learning the ropes, but I’m very happy with it so far.
@@Spugalugs I also just switched to the 14 pro after having androids for years (and really digging into the system to change almost everything). There are real trade-offs which you must accept, but it also comes with some nice features and a really smooth OS. For me, i really hate the way the iPhone works with photo's and it's photo app, it's a huge mess and really inconvenient compared to android. Also, the fact that the keyboard does not have a number row on top, are just simple things i really miss compared to using my S22/Android. The gestures are nice (which i also used on android), but can be confusing sometimes, as android has a basic back button. With iOS it's really specific which direction to swipe from/to, in order to close or go back a page, which is also impossible if you opened an entire new page. Also keep in mind, when there is a feature you don't like or want to change, the chances are big that it's not possible. Apple really designs their ecosystem to be used by their ways. Overall, it's a clean and great optimised system, the iPhones themselfs feel much more premium and well build over any other phone. But when you want to make the switch, keep in mind you really have to accept the ways how Apple wants you to use the phone, there isn't that much to change to be done, besides some visual customization.
