Long pressing spacebar gives you the trackpad for moving your cursor that is true. But add another finger on the keyboard and now you can select text as you move your cursor!
I wish you could un-select text while doing it this way by just swiping opposite of whatever you just highlighted. Not a huge deal as you can just grab the blue edge sliders to adjust. It would feel more intuitive with un-select baked in.
This gave me orgasm of sorts
As recently moving from 9 years of Samsung note to iPhone 14 Pro Max, wow, I'm impressed with your tips.

So, here are few things everyone should watch out for before buying an iPhone.
1. You can’t take scrolling screenshots elsewhere other than safari, which only saves in pdf format and not in jpeg or png as a picture.
2. Doesn’t group WhatsApp audio or video call, google duo, Instagram audio or video call and normal calls separately and shows all of them at the same place in recent dialled list of calls app. Makes a huge clutter and you might accidentally call someone on duo from recently dialled whereas you wanted to call them normally if you aren’t paying attention.
3. There’s no auto rotation between orientations, you have to toggle on or off every single time you need.
4. To turn off wifi and bluetooth completely, you have to go to settings and can’t do it from status bar.
5. No split screen on ios. Can not clear multiple apps from recent memory.
6. Dumbest calculator. Scientific mode only shows if you rotate calculator orientation to landscape. If you want to add a+b+c then ‘a’ disappears from screen as soon as you type ‘b’ and ‘b’ disappears from screen as soon as you type c and so on. No backspace button on calculator.
7. If you pull down notification or control panel, everything in your background stops, it behaves like opening another app and functionality of background app halts, games or ongoing video call camera and audio permission in any app also stops.
8. Camera app and mic app permissions stops during video call if you pulldown notification bar or control panel.
9. On android you can change media volume and call volume from anywhere by pressing vol button, here you need to go to settings (you need to go here a lot)
10. Tweaking in camera, can’t do it within from camera app (need to go to settings) No pro or manual mode on Camera app, no manual iso, no manual white balance.
11. Doesn’t work picture in picture mode in WhatsApp or with any other video calling app when you minimise the app. If you’re video calling someone and then minimise, the video and audio will be paused.
12. Doesn’t suggest name of a saved contact while dialling midway through the person’s number. His name only shows if you type his whole number.
13. To send uncompressed media on WhatsApp, You have to export it to files app from photos app first (can not do it from documents of WhatsApp as usual.
15. Can’t video call someone from Phone dialer app even if you’re connected over VoLTE as android phones can do or over wifi calling
16. Can’t download big files from google drive.

- That #1 with screenshot is driving me crazy after being able to do that so easily with my previous notes.
- That #5 with split screen as well is missing me so much, but on my personal experience, the smoothness in switch between apps with the iPhone 14 Pro Max compensate it. Also, since I have the MacBook Pro and iPad, copy and paste between them is just amazing. But if I 'm left with my iPhone alone, yes, it's a trouble.
- Unfortunately, #6 is just crazy, how can ta scientific calculator is missing? And you have to pay for getting one???
- #7 is dumb, if it pauses even calls. But I believe they are trying to save battery so much, that they didn't think about those priority tasks!
- #11 stopping video and audio during call is just madness!
But let me add #17 to yours:
I have 2 Bose speakers, and with Android, I can pair playing them simultaneously within my setting. However, iPhone doesn't know how to do that!!!
But I think, like the other apple fans, I will just join them wishing and praying every year that apple would resolve them soon😩😫 Otherwise, we're stuck in the ecosystem!

@@TsiriniainaRakotonirina Talking about audio, here’s #18 I don’t think I can change Bluetooth audio codec by going into Bluetooth menu for my earphones here on iPhone which wasn’t even an issue in the past with an android.
@@gokulgirish001 No, most of the iPhone users they don’t even realise those are problems because they’ve been using it since beginning of time and never have changed OS platform once. Most of them only use it for snap, social media and calls. They are like mainstream users, who would be okay with just any phone on the planet.
Those who have used both and have a certain level of technical knowledge, would really appreciate the flexibility and freedom Android offers to its users. I have flashed custom Roms and it’s a beautiful experience to be able to see new things and functionality every time.
Apple brings features half a decade late and try to make it up by giving it some fancy name in order to not humiliate itself. Dual Sim in 2018, 120hz in 2021. You’re welcome.

Couple things. You can use your finger as a trackpad on the text by long pressing where the cursor is. When moving icons you can hold icons with one finger and page swipe with another

Yes. But iphone doesn't accommodate navigation exactly on the spot like android does so you can miss. I think this way is more accurate. It's probably just personal preference 😉

The real power of the stop playing timer is when you don’t think to change it back to an actual timer sound next time you’re cooking something in the oven.
The first shortcut you told, is saving and uploading all the files u download to their website as well.

After installing rDownload, I can only be able to download Insta reels but not You Tube reels… And when you add the “Open in WhatsApp” shortcut to Homescreen, it’s not coming in Widget, it’s just adding as a Bookmark.. Very useful & informative video🖤🖤

If you wanted to make the “open in WhatsApp “ shortcut in widget form you need tap and hold the home screen and then select + on the top right corner and then scroll all the way down to find shortcuts application and then you will see open in WhatsApp shortcut and then add it to your Home Screen now it will be there as widget rather than in bookmark form.

Most of these features like swipe to select, tap on top to scroll up, were there in Flyme OS from Meizu. One of the best Chinese UI.
Meizu got those features from iOS.

Some of the basic and very important things are done best on an iPhone. You won't be impressed unless you try it.
I'm impressed by how many separate apps Apple took inspiration from in the Playstore.

3. Face ID (works unbelievably accurate even in pitch dark environments). This is a secure unlocking method unlike Face Unlock on Android devices.
4. File system security and privacy due to App container sandboxing.
5. Gaming
6. Any processor intensive task; iPhone will decimate Android devices in speed and performance.
7. Battery life.
8. AirDrop (if you have multiple Apple devices).
9. Ecosystem continuity (e.g. Clipboard)
10. Bluetooth connectivity: Take a pair of earphones and pair them to Android devices and an iPhone. Switch off the earphones and turn them back on. You'll see it will always pair with the iPhone first.

These were some pretty helpful tips.
If you Share a shortcut to the home screen instead of adding it as a widget, it makes a standard size icon instead of that huge button that takes up all that space.
