MIDO Ocean Star - A High Quality And Affordable Dive Watch

MIDO is a Swiss watch brand that has been around since 1918 when it was founded by Mr. Georges Schaeren who was a Swiss watchmaker. MIDO is said to have released one of the first automatic watches with anti-magnetic properties and they created waterproof watches as early as the 1930s in their Multifort watch which, among other things, had a water and a shock resistant case.
The MIDO Ocean Star was introduced in 1959 but the company registered the name in 1944, which is the year often used for anniversary models.
