As someone who has 20 years of experience with GTA... Knowing Rockstar, GTA 6 certainly has potential for it to break GTA 5's record regardless of the fact that it won't initially be available for PC. I won't be surprised if it has a slower start initially. However, a few years down the lane when PC ports are available and GTA 6 is made accessible, It will for certain be the most downloaded game. Rockstar Games has revolutionized gaming time and time again. They will not disappoint. GTA VI will be the most downloaded game. In my opinion, at least. The reasoning may be valid but I just don't see GTA not selling the more copies than GTA 5 in 1 week. Maybe, just maybe a slim chance that GTA 5 beats GTA 6's 24 hour sales figures but I don't know. 1 thing is for certain, it will be the most sold game of the decade.

This game will sell consoles. already planning on picking up hopefully a ps5 pro (if released by then) just to play it and then ill likely buy it again to play it at full quality when it drops on PC did the same for red dead 2.
Theres only 80 million online users on Current-Gen consoles so id dont know how you figure out GTA 6 beating GTA 5 in terms of copies sold.Im guessing GTA 6 is gonna sold 50 million copies in the first week and then it would slow down until the PC port comes out

When GTA VI will launch, R* will update the for more than 10 years just like they did with GTAV, and relaunch it on future generations of PS and Xbox consoles like PS6, PS7 etc. And when it launches on PC and the time passes by it will become a bit more low end for future PCs which will have future hardware like intel 20th gen or RTX 6090, and the gen we have now like RTX 4090 will become cheaper in the future
