I wouldn't really call Avengers a crossover because they're all from the same universe, timeline, etc etc. Anyway, Freddy vs Jason will always be my #1 crossover.
I'd consider it a crossover. Just because they were from the same company, doesn't mean they were all from the same series. Each comic book hero has their own series, but the Avengers was the first movie to attempt mixing all these Marvel heroes into one film, and it worked very well. I'm aware the Avengers was a comic series before it became a movie, but people were still exited to finally see a movie about that crossover.
I agree completely. some of these were definitely not crossovers in my book, more like cameos/easter eggs. Was expecting Flintstones meet the Jetsons on the list.
There have been multiple avengers films, just all awful and never worth mentioning because they have a guy in a green suit as hulk, the new one rocks though
i do not agree with number 1 since all marvel super heroes share the same universe and the team up is also canon. the same argument also aplied for DC comics super heroes
Problem is: Superheroes may have met each other in animated movies and tv shows as well as in comics and video games, but never... almost NEVER.... in Live-in Action Movies and TV shows.
what i meant was i did not agree that something like avenger, teen titans, justice league or any other form of super hero or super villain team up is qualifies as crossover since they share the same universe of their respective group for example avenger is in marvel while justice league is in dc comics
I don't agree either - Avengers was a planned culmination of those other movies. The more recent introduction of Spiderman would fit as crossover in my view, as that wasn't part of the plan when they started and came in on loan from a rival studio. I think the same can be said of the Star Trek example - it's not a crossover from previously unrelated storylines, but instead a bringing together of the two generations.
It happens all the time in the books but Sony goes full Gollum on Spider Man, not willing to share him for an epic crossover. But if Mickey and Bugs did it, I still have hope
Going to mention that the Freddy and Jason summary was WRONG. Freddy wasn't angry that Jason was doing the job wrong, it was because he'd succeeded and continued to kill more and more children. Freddy only brought him there to push the kids into being afraid once more so he could regain his power and continue murdering them, but Jason just wouldn't stop killing them even when his job was finished.
gothnate No, his job was only to scare them enough that Freddy could come back, not to continue to kill them after Freddy is back. His job came to an end and he kept going so, no, it's not considered doing his job.
gothnate That isn't doing his job wrong because his job was over, doing it wrong would have been not doing it at all. Freddy was mad that even after the job was FINISHED, Jason kept killing which IS NOT doing his job wrong, he's not doing a job anymore at that point so the point made in the video is incorrect about why Freddy was angry.
Doing you job wrong doesn't just mean not completing it. He was tasked to scare them. That's all he was supposed to do. He did more, pissing Freddy off. By doing this, he failed at doing what Freddy wanted. Freddy wanted them to remember him, not have a hockey mask wearing machete wielding monster killing everyone. Therefore, Jason didn't do his job properly, meaning, he did it wrong

tabularasaconfirmed You're being sarcastic right? The Avengers qualifies as a crossover because it featured stand alone superheroes eventually coming together to fight for a single cause. While the word itself has many definitions, one of them is "bridging the gap of a type of medium."
They can't right now because Godzilla is owned by wb and King Kong is owned by universal but I heard there working out and going to collaborate if they make one.

The idea of King Kong vs Godzilla was always ridiculous. Godzilla is typically around 300 feet tall (no less than 150 feet) has atomic breath, advanced lizard healing, and you know he's really freaking huge. King Kong is only like 20 or so feet tall and that's it, just a regular gorilla otherwise, but 20 feet tall. They had to set up ludicrous circumstances in the movie for Kong to even have a fraction of a chance, and then the movie has two different endings between the USA and Japan where either country's respective monster wins. Godzilla = kaiju, King Kong = abnormally large gorilla, truthfully Godzilla wins hands down.
Not that anybody really cared, but I checked and no, there isn't an alternate version of film per country. Only the one where King Kong pulls a miracle out of his ass, gets lightning power, and can breathe underwater long enough to somehow beat Godzilla.
Yushiro Gowa taz, wiley coyote, bugs, the chicken guy, tweetie, and a lot of people aren't in the same show so why can't it be considered a crossover movie
Exactly what I was thinking, the Avengers are their own entity with it's own history as opposed to a bunch of characters that got thrown into a movie together. That's why it's called the Avengers and not Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, and Hawkeye kick some alien ass.
It still is. We are more familiar of crossovers like Marvel vs Capcom or Street Fighter X Tekken, where different worlds collide. That's just one way of a crossover. You can have a crossover in the same universe too as long as both are not really dependent on each other and can stand on their own capacities.
There was actually supposed to be a sequel. It was going to be called... Freddy Vs Jason... ...VS ASH WILLIAMS! Unfortunately, it was never made into a movie. However, the script didn't go to waste. They made it into a comic book. And it kicks ASS! It even got a sequel book called Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: Nightmare Warriors. It's not as good as the first, but it's still pretty damn awesome. You should check them both out, you won't be disappointed.
The creator of the Child's Play series wrote this last year: "It all just seems too obvious to me [Leprechaun vs Chucky]. I mean Freddy vs. Jason, I thought that was a fun movie… But for me the problem with that team up is that Jason doesn’t really have any personality and doesn’t talk. If Freddy and Chucky got together that would be a really funny double act. If you did a Child’s Play on Elm Street and did it like a horror movie version of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. So Chucky and Freddy meet and Freddy says, Chucky I’m a big fan of your work. Chucky says, Freddy I admire your technique. And they decide that Elm Street is too small for the two of them so they have to have a contest to see who can kill the most teenagers before sunrise." That would be amazing!
AVP was my first experience with aliens and predator, there story's weaved so well to together that when I saw just predator I asked "where are the aliens?"
If Hannibal King is in there also. I'm going to that damn movie. I'm pretty that guy would rant on the vamps. With a personality like Hannibal king's shit is bound too happen. Especially when Hannibal King is like Deadpool. XD
There will be a new King Kong movie (Skull Island) coming in 2016, "Pacific Rim 2" in 2017 and "Godzilla 2" in 2018. All of these are owned by Legendary Pictures. So we can hope to see "Godzilla vs King Kong vs Pacific Rim" in the coming years :)
it won't work again. what worked in the original was how silly and daft it was. how ridiculous kong looked. making him the right size to face godzilla. and not to mention the whole electricity thing. It techically won't be king kong. as king kong is famous for climbing a building where as godzilla is famous for smashing them.
Godzilla vs pacific rim is more likely because it's the same director and I remember Guillermo Del Torro saying something along the lines that he would like something like that to happen.
But it's the first time super heroes have been in the same movie. We have gotten Spiderman movies, Hulk movies, Xmen movies but they never met till then so it still is a big crossover movie wise and in Jason goes to hell it shows Freddy's hand grabbing his mask so Freddy and Jason are in the same universe as well so Freddy vs Jason isn't a crossover either. Also, in the comics they still call it a crossover either way, it still counts.
yeah you are wrong. Avengers is not a crossover movie at al. They are in the same universe and that means it is not a cross over, where freddy grabs his mask does not mean they are in the same universe. That's kjust start of the crossover for freddy vs jason
Patrick Tuohy Which shows they are in the same universe, that was the start of that crossover, all those end credit scenes were the start of the Avengers crossover. It still counts.
meliek spencer Plus, even some major comic events count as crossovers because you normally don't see Spiderman and Wolverine fighting bad guys together. I have seen things like Civil War being called a crossover, it still very much counts.
One crossover inspires me the most is Freddy vs Jason. The two iconic supernatural killers that somehow meet and later on battle each other in the movie. If only there was another showdown with both slashers battling for dominance in a deadly war. Also Aliens vs Predator inspired me as well. These two iconic sci-fi creatures that are both aliens in their own cultures and are both savages that kill humans for a reason.
the Avengers really isn't a crossover per se. the characters all exist in the same Marvel Universe and the comic book series "The Avengers" has been around for a LOOONNGG time. that movie was a movie about The Avengers...the comic. a cross over is really more when the characters are put together just for the cool factor of seeing previously un-related characters interact for a brief time just for the reference. the Avengers were specifically ..assembled (no pun intended but it's funny LOL) as a relatively permanent team by a publisher that already established that the properties coexisted in the same franchise. that being said...imo Freddy v Jason should've been number one.
+Dark L Lawliet AvP isnt really a crossover... its more like Avengers... they're got more and more a combined story. Not only in AvP. Just check up as example Predator 2... where the skulls on trophy are. What skull is there, too? Yep, its an Alien ones...
This is just my personal opinion. If this were my list I would've put Freddy vs. Jason at #1. Mainly becasue Freddy vs. Jason is my favourite film in both franchises and my favourite horror movie of all time and is even #9 in my Top 10 Favourite movies of all time. If you're wondering what all ten of them are here you go. 10. AVP. Alien vs Predator 9. Freddy vs. Jason (as I stated) 8. Iron Man 7. JAWS 6. The Dark Knight 5. Empire Strikes Back 4. Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3. Resident Evil 2. The LEGO Movie 1. Jurassic Park
Forgot to mention. Paul W.S. Anderson is also one of my favourite directors. Unlike most directors he not only knows how to make a faithful adaptation of a video game but also knows how to make changes to the source material where necessary. But that's just my opinion.
Jason Voorhees Your favorite crossover was Freddy vs. Jason, and your username is Jason Vorhees. I wasn't sure if it was kind of a joke, or some wierd coincidence. But I Like your opinion nonetheless.
Right. Avengers are not crossover in any way, they ARE from the same universe. Actually, almost every Marvel superhero comes from the same universe. Wolverine and Red Witch, who are X-Men, were Avengers too, and even Spider-Man. Crossover always means combinig two or more non-crossing universes, that normally (meaning, by canon) have nothing to do with each other.
ahh no if there the same size like in the original king kong will snap godzillas neck like a twig! but new godzilla is 3 times the size of kong so no contest
King won fair and square his arms give him more reach and his more evolved brain is another advantage atomic breath is the only real advantage Godzilla has
The Avengers was good, the Avengers 2 was disappointing, Freddy vs Jason was the best cross over ever! Now I would like to see a Chucky vs Leprechaun movie
My Top Favorite Crossover Movies 1. Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2. Wreck-It Ralph 3. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 4. Space Jam: A New Legacy 5. Turtles Forever 6. Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon 7. Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse/Mickey's House of Villains 8. The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones
Teeksoo l that doesn't make him a weeaboo. A weeaboo is someone who is overly obsessed with anime and abandons their culture and believes that Japan is so awesome and doesn't know nothing about it besides anime so please use the correct term next time
Avengers isn't a crossover. It's a real story based off a comic book. They are a team. Not just coincidence, that they came together like avp or Freddy vs jason
i still dont get it tho, cuz in the movie they didnt know each other, they juss heard about each other, and then they didnt know about the Avengers project, sooooo one guy brought them together so they could be together, so isnt that a crossover???
***** Actually, every movie of every superhero of those that was made, was planned exactly for the Avengers. In almost any of the ending scenes of those movies, you can see something that they put connecting with the Avengers. For example, Iron Man's endings (and Black Widow being in the Iron Man movies herself), In "Thor" one of the soldiers was Hawkeye ... and even in the "The Incredible Hulk", the end scene was with Tony Stark. Eventually every movie of those was a perfect construction piece for the upcoming "Avengers", even the plot of "The Avengers" is tightly connected with the actions that took place in "Thor".
We will. The Marvel Universe is building up to that and it's very likely that Avengers 3 will feature the Guardians, they will all team up against Thanos.
we're going to get it. I think there's going to be a marvel trilogy in phase 5 where all the heroes that have been intoduced for example the avengers, the guardians, probably the inhumans, black panther, doctor strange and all the villains are going to join to defeat thanos
Chucky vs The Leprechaun. The Hulk vs Superman. Aquaman vs Namor. Jason vs Michael Myers. Star Trek vs Star Wars. Blade vs Underworld. Neo vs John Wick. Freddy Kruger vs Pennywise. Hellboy vs Ghost Rider vs Spawn. Jeepers Creeper vs anyone.
Lord Jeffries You are wrong there. They all had movies related to those characters. Allan Quartermaine was portrayed in numerous movies (my favorite adaptation being King Solomon's Mines with Richard Chamberlain). Captain Nemo has appeared in many movies as well, starting as far back as 1916 in the original release of 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Mina Harker's character has been in probably every Dracula movie. Rodney Skinner (The Invisible Man) has his own set of movies. Dorian Gray has been in several movies as well. There have been several movies with Tom Sawyer. Same goes for Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde.
Apparently, the guys behind the latest Godzilla are producing a movie called Skull Island. ... I'm wondering if a rematch is exactly what they're building up to.
Eric Adrien how about these All Grown Up!(Rugrats) & Rocket Power(Movie) Freakazoid & The Mask(Episode) Batman vs Robo-Cop, Plot:Gotham PD Brings in Robo-Cop(Movie) Green Lantern & Star Wars Green Lantern Corps vs Jedi Force(Movie) The Avengers vs Justice League(Official Film, Video Game, Animation) Iron Man vs Mega-Man(Episode) Sylvester & Tweety meet Tom & Jerry(Movie or Episode) Jungle Book & the Lion King(Movie) Reboot & The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest(Episode) Mortal Kombat vs Marvel Universe(Video Game)
I honestly wanna see Rob Zombie do a three way crossover of Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th, and Halloween since he created remakes for two of them and all three killers in the movies are iconic and maybe there would a cameo by Chuckie. xD Tbh i think that the avengers shouldn't count because it was established in the comics and all the solo cartoons for these superheroes that the entire marvel franchise exists in the same universe, much like the DC franchise. It's like saying Batman and Superman should meet up, only to find out they're already in the same universe.
I read a theory somewhere about how the terminators skin was based off a legendary solider, Dutch the hero of predator, but that's stretching it, I will admit.
Star Trek, Avengers, universal horror and the Jay and Silent Bob movies are all franchises. Not crossovers. And the Wayne's World honorable mention is a cameo.
King Kong vs Godzilla is so stupid because Godzilla is supposed to be like 100x bigger than King Kong. Kong climbs the Empire State Building, Godzilla is taller than the building.
Avengers shouldn't count since it has been known since the Avengers have been teaming up since the golden days of comics. They've always existed in the same universe, so it is by all rights NOT a crossover
Avengers is not a crossover! They all live in the same world. The point of crossovers is two worlds colliding into one and Avengers is a single world as it's all part of Marvel.
I don't know if they care enough to... care. These are just cheap clickbait list videos after all - pump out one top ten after another and don't stop long enough to double check everything.
Djzilla2014 GAMING and Freddy had trouble with jason both times, Jason is one of only 3-4 to not get killed by Freddy in the dream world. The first few just ran from Freddy an woke up but Freddy just couldn't kill Jason
Where is *_DESTROY ALL MONSTERS_*??? Toho did the same thing Disney did with Marvel's _The Avengers_. Only Toho did it first *40 years ago*. They made a bunch of monster movies, and then released _Destroy All Monsters_ featuring an all-star cast of kaijus.
Chris Heyburn The video game is based on it. And yeah, Destroy all Monsters should have made it on the list, or even better, Final Wars. In Final Wars, it's said that the US Godzilla isn't the real Godzilla, then the real Godzilla goes to Sidney and kills the US Godzilla. That was a totally crazy crossover you wouldn't expect.
Chris Heyburn I just saw half of it on TV. It's from the creator of Versus and the MGS cutscenes from Twin Snakes and up. And that's just how Final Wars and Versus are, totally over the top, crazy and cheesy-awesome. There is a scene in Versus where one guy has 3 laser pointers - on his sword! XD
Alien vs Predator could have EASILY taken number one if they had done it right. The Alien vs Predator movies really mess up the timeline between Prometheus, the Alien franchise and the Predator trilogy. Two absolutely amazing movie franchises that could have been breathtaking if they had put more time and care into it. But, because of the way it was done... The Avengers was a better crossover movie. But the concept of Aliens crossing with Predators far surpasses anything else to me.
Saucy Life It would have honestly been a success if they didn't make the movie so god damn fucking dark. And I don't mean dark like gritty and violent. I mean that the visuals were so black that I couldn't tell what was going on. You know that my dad saw the movie and he says he had no idea there was a predalien in the movie. That's how bad it was.
True that.
I agree completely. some of these were definitely not crossovers in my book, more like cameos/easter eggs. Was expecting Flintstones meet the Jetsons on the list.
irishfury187 They were only including theatrical crossovers. They already mentioned they weren't including home DVD releases.
There have been multiple avengers films, just all awful and never worth mentioning because they have a guy in a green suit as hulk, the new one rocks though
Freddy vs. Jason was fucking awesome. Especially the final fight scene paired with the metal music in the background made it so gaddamn cool.
PalmuJoni I listen to Ill Nino because of that movie.
I forgot who won Freddy vs Jason but i remember it was fuckin beast mode
Davey Freeman I think Jason won, considering that he could walk away with Freddy's head in the end.
Well Jason has always been my favorite horror character SrMichaelBucket
SrMichaelBucket Yeah, but freddy was still alive. Davey Freeman Mine was always Michael Myers.
i do not agree with number 1 since all marvel super heroes share the same universe and the team up is also canon. the same argument also aplied for DC comics super heroes

you're are so movie stupid
+Rodrigo Vazquez this is just a discussion....stop freaking out
did you know that the avengers was not a crossover movie
Jackson Warfield haha yeah
Hey yeah
Jackson Warfield
It doesn't count but was a beast movie!
A yeah
yeah it is, its a crossover between iron man and the hulk and all those
Crossovers that need to happen:
Blade/Underworld
Robocop/Terminator
Robocop/Terminator did happen, just not on screen.
There was a Robocop vs Terminator comic book, as well as several games.
The Avengers/Spider Man
oh and also Blade/Twilight just so Blade can slay every fucker involved in this movie
dachsbeckassumpta Spider Man was an Avenger for a while, so it's possible, but unlikely.
It happens all the time in the books but Sony goes full Gollum on Spider Man, not willing to share him for an epic crossover. But if Mickey and Bugs did it, I still have hope
what about Blade/Twilight? not a bad idea :B
Jason Vs Michael Myers would be amazing(Even though they would be silent the whole movie)
GLaDOS lmfao
GLaDOS Michael Myers vs Freddy would be sick tbh
good point
I'd prefer Freddy Krueger vs Pennywise
Mag Tinfal that would probably not end well for Freddy
Going to mention that the Freddy and Jason summary was WRONG. Freddy wasn't angry that Jason was doing the job wrong, it was because he'd succeeded and continued to kill more and more children. Freddy only brought him there to push the kids into being afraid once more so he could regain his power and continue murdering them, but Jason just wouldn't stop killing them even when his job was finished.

There will be "Pacific Rim 2" in 2017 and "Godzilla 2" in 2018. Also a new King Kong movie called "Skull Island" in 2016. All of these are owned by Legendary Pictures. So we can hope to see "Godzilla vs King Kong vs Pacific Rim" in the coming years :)
Martynas Valanciunas dont legendary pictures have something to do with dc comic movies.
Martynas Valanciunas Holy....fuck.....CAN'T COMPUTE, TOO MUCH AWESOME
I liked Freddy vs Jason
I like Freddy vs Jason to they are changing the reboot in 2009!
Yeah Freddy vs Jason was the coolest but why did they have to do a reboot in 2009?
@@securityrabbit9681 I don't know but that reboot was different
Xbox gamer3D I know
Rave The Goat Jason was actually pretty awesome in the remake
How is any marvel movie a crossover? they are from the same place. they live in the same universe. it is barely a crossover
NameYourChannel
NameYourChannel x men and the avengers
Prototype X bruh
NameYourChannel As said by your own words "it's barley a crossover"
IKR
Still waiting for Robocop Vx The Terminator, Alien Vs. Predator Vs Terminator, and Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash.

morbidchid But I want Leatherface or Myers
now why the hell would aliens vs predator a very well made crossover vs FUCKING TERMINATER
Really? The Avengers is number 1? They all exist in the same universe and it wasn't a shock that they came together
tabularasaconfirmed I know right
tabularasaconfirmed TBF It was kinda surprising that we got to see them all come together in live action.
OMFG THE MARVEL FILMS WERE LEADING UP TO THE AVENGERS THATS WHY THEY MADE THEM
tabularasaconfirmed You're being sarcastic right? The Avengers qualifies as a crossover because it featured stand alone superheroes eventually coming together to fight for a single cause. While the word itself has many definitions, one of them is "bridging the gap of a type of medium."
Well, they started as different franchises, so it technically counts, but it's true.
Who won? Jason or Freddy?
my favorite has got to be Freddy v Jason
Evan DeHerrera yess
Evan DeHerrera yeah that movie is awesome
Evan DeHerrera My Personal Fave Is AvP
Evan DeHerrera mine too
I'd say freddy v jason was meh, the acting was crap and the characters are forgettable but the fights between freddy and jason were great.
I'm still waiting for a DC vs. Marvel film... :)
Those take place in two different universes. They are rival companies and all of the really nerdy fans soul whet super pissed off.
Colin Hawkins Too bad, there's already a few official comic crossovers.
thats never gonna happen
Alelix26 are u flipin stupid it was announced at vid con that sometime in 2019 therebwill be a cross over I was there!
TrailBreak Reviews wanna bet?
I LOVED Freddy vs Jason. Everything shines in that movie, they even chose Killswitch Engage for its credits song. Amazing.
There should be a remake/new version of king kong v. Godzilla.
Yes,YES, Somebody do this!
They can't right now because Godzilla is owned by wb and King Kong is owned by universal but I heard there working out and going to collaborate if they make one.
Or godzilla vs gamera
No, because nowadays, Godzilla is around 110 meters, King Kong is only like 17 meters. ( A meter is about 3 feet BTW)
There making a King Kong movie called skull island I think. But idk if it's a sequel or a remake?
king Kong vs godzilla 2020
VJ J
VJ Jefferson idk why but i wanna see the avengers vs transformers

they are all apart of the marvel franchise

They're in the same universe
Yeah it's not a crossover at all
Shinny Turd all of these are in the same universe.. that's why theyre crossover's
because at the first they dont really know each other and have individual movies
Do not watch avp with the wolf predator there is a pregnant woman gets impregnated by a predalien 😨😨😨😨😫😫
The idea of King Kong vs Godzilla was always ridiculous. Not that anybody really cared, but I checked and no, there isn't an alternate version of film per country. Only the one where King Kong pulls a miracle out of his ass, gets lightning power, and can breathe underwater long enough to somehow beat Godzilla.
my favorite crossover is Freddy versus Jason.
SPACE JAM?! arguably one of the greatest movies of all time
I don't think that's a crossover movie, surely it has Micheal Jordan in it but... he ain't a character.....
Yushiro Gowa well yeah but it has a ton of looney toons that aren't normally in the same show...
what do you mean?
Yushiro Gowa taz, wiley coyote, bugs, the chicken guy, tweetie, and a lot of people aren't in the same show so why can't it be considered a crossover movie
benana peel yeah they are!
Jason vs Freddy is the best
Freddy vs Jason is the name
Thx for like
Am I the only one that thinks Freddy vs. Jason was the best by far on this list? Haha.
best cross over ever
SAME THAT WAS THE MIST INTERESTING CROSS OVER .... I think it's because I've never seen the movie before :(
Freddy v. Ripper. 'Nuff said.
I think it was as well
Zach Pohlman me
Avengers is NOT a crossover.
it is
What is the matter with you? Hulk,Thor,Iron Man,Captain America... 4 movie series in one, of course It's a crossover
Spot on. It's a continuation of a story, using characters set up and referenced in all the Marvel Studios movies. Not a crossover.
They should make another film with Freddy and Jason, but include some other horror villains in there as well.
The creator of the Child's Play series wrote this last year:
"It all just seems too obvious to me [Leprechaun vs Chucky]. And they decide that Elm Street is too small for the two of them so they have to have a contest to see who can kill the most teenagers before sunrise."
That would be amazing!
Dakota Nelson how about adding in Michael Myers and it would be a horror party?
CosmicUndeadElf how about no?!
Kurdati Michael Myers VS Jason Voorhees would be the best horror villain battle ever so hell yeah but with Freddy Krueger included will make a bonus
AVP was my first experience with aliens and predator, there story's weaved so well to together that when I saw just predator I asked "where are the aliens?"
Avengers is not a crossover it is its own thing
That's stupid... fuck avengers
bro chill on that negativity bro.
Radionatix Fuck Radionatix
No its " THE ScAVENGERS"!
+The Xel'Naga Amon rekt
Guys what about
.....Space Jam?!
I'd love to see a crossover of the twilight and blade franchises.
It would be fun to watch blade murder every character in the twilight franchise
Blade in the Underworld too would be awesome
If Hannibal King is in there also. I'm going to that damn movie. I'm pretty that guy would rant on the vamps. With a personality like Hannibal king's shit is bound too happen. Especially when Hannibal King is like Deadpool. XD
Two of my favorite things! "Jason Voorhees vs. Freddy Krueger" and "Predator vs. Alien"
you know, now that we've seen a new Godzilla recently, I think they should make a new King Kong vs Godzilla
I agree. I don't like alot of remakes but that is one film that's in need of one.
I think Godzila is too big to fight King Kong now..
Avengers is not a crossover, it's characters in the same universe meeting up to defeat an enemy. A crossover would be Marvel/DC
It still counts.
thats not what a crossover can only be, like Flash Series, Flash and Green Arrow had a crossover in the show, and they are in the same universe.
meliek spencer
Plus, even some major comic events count as crossovers because you normally don't see Spiderman and Wolverine fighting bad guys together. I have seen things like Civil War being called a crossover, it still very much counts.
Even though the movie wasn't so hot, I think _The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen_ should be on this list.
Not to mention, all the individual MCU movies led up to The Avengers:
Edward Teach I agree 100%
Edward Teach The Avengers is technically a crossover because up until that film, none of them, except for Thor, had come face to face with Loki.
My favorite movie cross overs:
Alien vs Predator
Freddy vs Jason
Batman v Superman
+Dark L Lawliet AvP isnt really a crossover... its more like Avengers... they're got more and more a combined story. Not only in AvP. Just check up as example Predator 2... where the skulls on trophy are. What skull is there, too? Yep, its an Alien ones...
MKFormerW1N I know, so I don't know why all the Alien fans are complaining about Aliens hibernating on Earth.
Batman vs. Superman isn't a crossover movie. In the comics I think they fight alongside each other as part of the Justice League of America.
Batman vs superman?
Hah!
Ha-ha-ha
Uh..
You're Joking Right?
Destroyer 125 it's his opinion man
This is just my personal opinion.
10. AVP. Alien vs Predator
9. Freddy vs. Jason (as I stated)
8. Iron Man
7. JAWS
6. The Dark Knight
5. Empire Strikes Back
4. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
3. Resident Evil
2. The LEGO Movie
1. Jurassic Park
Forgot to mention. Paul W.S. Anderson is also one of my favourite directors. Unlike most directors he not only knows how to make a faithful adaptation of a video game but also knows how to make changes to the source material where necessary. But that's just my opinion.
Jason Voorhees I just don't know how to respond to your first comment.
Richard Marquez What do you mean?
That's awesome, I Jurassic Park at no 1 also. Jaws, TDK, and AVP all make my list.
Jason Voorhees Your favorite crossover was Freddy vs. Jason, and your username is Jason Vorhees. I wasn't sure if it was kind of a joke, or some wierd coincidence. But I Like your opinion nonetheless.
What about space jam?
It's definitely one of the strangest crossovers. So, I guess that counts.
Technically its not a crossover as Michael Jorden was a basketball player and not a movie star, this is supposed to be crossovers from movies.
I want Marvel VS DC!!!
+LionCrash apparently that's gonna be a movie in 2020 but the internet lies sometimes...
Luke Hinchliffe :(
LionCrash all I'm saying is it has a chance of happening
Luke Hinchliffe Yay!
Rackaracka made a video of that
Freddy vs Jason is one of my all time favorite movies and the soundtrack was the best of any movie I've ever seen.
What If Star Trek Traveled Into A Galaxy, Far Far Away. ;)
I would watch it.
Jamis Kersh Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! (just my opinion)^^
i dunno, thats a HUGE make or break thing there but i am intrigued nonetheless
LittleSmile Haha But Whyyy?
Jamis Kersh Well... I am not a hater of ST but after 3 seconds vs a sithlord they would die ;)
Avengers isn't a crossover in my opinion, it's like putting batman and night wing in the same movie and calling it a crossover
The Ultimate more like calling justice leage a crossover
another one exposing a shit, literally, batman, and nightwing lived in the same universe, dumbass
I wouldn't call The Avengers a crossover, they're all in the same universe
+RedEyesTops ......all cross overs take place in the same universe....
Tony Smith Not necessarily.
RedEyesTops
Yes, necessarily. There has to a universe for them to come into :p
+Tony Smith thats true
Godzilla would have whooped king kings ass if they had Godzilla 2014 version
any godzilla would beat king kong
Have you seen Godzilla 2014 the movie?
Adrian Salgado
no, but i know any godzilla could beat king kong
DOGE
ahh no if there the same size like in the original king kong will snap godzillas neck like a twig! but new godzilla is 3 times the size of kong so no contest
Thought I was the only one that LOVED Freddy Vs Jason💖💖
Freddy v Jason won
King Kong vs. Godzilla!! Although Godzilla should have won that fight.
Godzilla does win in the Japanese version.
ImNotMadara (7iTan2) No he doesn't. I've seen the Japanese version and Kong still wins.
MasterVideoStudios Really? I heard people say the American version has Kong win and the Japanese has Godzilla win.
ImNotMadara (7iTan2) Nope, Kong still wins in both versions. Which is total bullshit.
Avengers wasn't a crossover movie because they shared in a single universe
has anyone honestly heard of #9?
Heck naw
yes
Da Player well then, you must be either chinese, japanese, or a hipster.
Yes you uncultured swine
GarTheRapper Nope, i just saw it when i was watching a bunch of random japanese action films with my friend, didn't watch it all the way though
My Top Favorite Crossover Movies
1. Who Framed Roger Rabbit
2. Wreck-It Ralph
3. Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers
4. Space Jam: A New Legacy
5. Turtles Forever
6. Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon
7. Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse/Mickey's House of Villains
8. The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones
When Jay and Silent Bob were in scream 3
Jake Mooney did they die
Indeed. Now that's a crossover. Dogma and clerks......fraid not
Top 10 anime crossovers? I really want this but it might not appeal to everyone
Teeksoo l that doesn't make him a weeaboo. A weeaboo is someone who is overly obsessed with anime and abandons their culture and believes that Japan is so awesome and doesn't know nothing about it besides anime so please use the correct term next time
Teeksoo l you mad bro?
jo sh how am I mad? All I did was give the correct meaning
Jovon jones i didnt say that at you, look at the tag
I only seen one anime crossover and that's toriko one piece and dbz dream 9
Avengers isn't a crossover. It's a real story based off a comic book. They are a team. Not just coincidence, that they came together like avp or Freddy vs jason
***** the avengers started off as a comic book, not a movie idea
But it's a crossover of the movies
I guess.
i still dont get it tho, cuz in the movie they didnt know each other, they juss heard about each other, and then they didnt know about the Avengers project, sooooo one guy brought them together so they could be together, so isnt that a crossover???
***** Actually, every movie of every superhero of those that was made, was planned exactly for the Avengers. In almost any of the ending scenes of those movies, you can see something that they put connecting with the Avengers. For example, Iron Man's endings (and Black Widow being in the Iron Man movies herself), In "Thor" one of the soldiers was Hawkeye ... and even in the "The Incredible Hulk", the end scene was with Tony Stark. Eventually every movie of those was a perfect construction piece for the upcoming "Avengers", even the plot of "The Avengers" is tightly connected with the actions that took place in "Thor".
i would love to see a Jason vs. Freddy vs. jeepers creepers movie.
That would be sick (in a good way)
ye
Naaa dude. Jason vs. Michael. THAT is a crossover I have been waiting for ever since I thought of it years ago hahaha
Soujiro Okita I wanna see 'Ash VS Freddy & Jason'
+Isaac Silva scream vs micheal
Lets get Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy!
We will. The Marvel Universe is building up to that and it's very likely that Avengers 3 will feature the Guardians, they will all team up against Thanos.
***** ^
Lance That works, as GOTG starts in 1988, then goes forward 26 years - to 2014. The events in GotG Happen around the same time as Captain America 2
we're going to get it. I think there's going to be a marvel trilogy in phase 5 where all the heroes that have been intoduced for example the avengers, the guardians, probably the inhumans, black panther, doctor strange and all the villains are going to join to defeat thanos
HELL YEAH!
Flintstones meet the Jetsons should be in the top 3. Same with Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
+Brandon Cruise yup
+Brandon Cruise its on tv, not movie
akbar mahmud it was a "movie" it migt have not been a the therters but it was a "movie"
akbar mahmud It's still a movie, even if it wasn't in theaters.
they are both tv shows -_-
No Space Jam?! Damn it! Always loved that movie.
How is space jam a crossover film, it just features looney toons characters.
Looney Tunes + live-action NBA stars? Guess that doesn't count...lol
Chucky vs The Leprechaun. The Hulk vs Superman. Aquaman vs Namor. Jason vs Michael Myers. Star Trek vs Star Wars. Blade vs Underworld. Neo vs John Wick. Freddy Kruger vs Pennywise. Hellboy vs Ghost Rider vs Spawn. Jeepers Creeper vs anyone.
i love who frammed roger rabbit
Same
And coming soon, Sadako vs Kayako... that's gonna be fucking awesome.
Ikr? I think Sadako will be the winner because She has more powers than Kayako
That's what I'm gonna say! :D
*Casually says at the beginning they won't be adding movies when they're all from the same universe*
*Adds The Avengers to the list*
As a kid, it was so cool to see Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny together and the hilarious piano scene of Daffy Duck and Donald Duck
"AND I WILL NOT BE BULLIED-"
**Gets fucking smashed**
+丿死火灬Dεαd_ΛccΩuητ -Яαgιπg Iπfεяио- I know right I had to rewatch that, it was funny and halirious. XD
Y is your name like that
Greatest crossover to come: Batman v. Superman
Same director as Man Of Steel so I'd say probably not...
Johnny Sins and Sasha Grey
.Haha
Whut?!
The most epic crossover and cameo appearance in the history of humanity:
*Fast and furious Tokyo drift(dori kin, initial d references)*
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Enough said.
There weren't other movies with those characters before it, so it doesn't really count as a crossover.
terrible film though
Its_only_martin Still better than AVP
Philip Alvarez meh. Depends on personal preference
Same goes for Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde.
im want chucky vs annabelle
Hell yeah
+Rizal X omg yesssss
+Rizal X Holyshit that's a good idea.
+Rizal X agree
dumb!!! Anna belle will get here ass beat
lol I I thought of it tho
Space Jam...... cmon...
Npc CHILL That would be a Looney Toons/ NBA crossover?
Npc CHILL There's no movie about Jordan
................
Cretin Cat NBA and Warner Brothers... who said anything about it having to be movie related?
The title of the video
This true key needs to happen Jason vs Michael
Why have they not remade Godzilla Vs. King Kong? With today's technology, that movie would be off the hook!
Apparently, the guys behind the latest Godzilla are producing a movie called Skull Island.
... I'm wondering if a rematch is exactly what they're building up to.
Mayeur000Donz they'd better...
Django in 1000 ways to die in the west
Back to the Future too
Eric Adrien how about these
All Grown Up!(Rugrats) & Rocket Power(Movie)
Freakazoid & The Mask(Episode)
Batman vs Robo-Cop, Plot:Gotham PD Brings in Robo-Cop(Movie)
Green Lantern & Star Wars Green Lantern Corps vs Jedi Force(Movie)
The Avengers vs Justice League(Official Film, Video Game, Animation)
Iron Man vs Mega-Man(Episode)
Sylvester & Tweety meet Tom & Jerry(Movie or Episode)
Jungle Book & the Lion King(Movie)
Reboot & The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest(Episode)
Mortal Kombat vs Marvel Universe(Video Game)
Yeah I wasn't really expecting back to the future in that movie, it was pretty good
I don't mind the ads
I don't mind the buffer
But when the ads buffer...
...That's when you download AdBlock Plus! AdBlock Plus = no more ads.
Ha
I honestly wanna see Rob Zombie do a three way crossover of Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th, and Halloween since he created remakes for two of them and all three killers in the movies are iconic and maybe there would a cameo by Chuckie. xD
Tbh i think that the avengers shouldn't count because it was established in the comics and all the solo cartoons for these superheroes that the entire marvel franchise exists in the same universe, much like the DC franchise. It's like saying Batman and Superman should meet up, only to find out they're already in the same universe.
Loki "I will not be bullied by" SLAM SLAM SLAM SLAM
Terminator v.s. Predator or Alien. That would be badass.
yes
I read a theory somewhere about how the terminators skin was based off a legendary solider, Dutch the hero of predator, but that's stretching it, I will admit.
no,this "brilliant badass idea" sucks more then AvP:R.
I didn't say it was brilliant, or badass. I'm sorry man.
oh, I think I'm confused.
Star Trek, Avengers, universal horror and the Jay and Silent Bob movies are all franchises. Not crossovers. And the Wayne's World honorable mention is a cameo.
It's like remix of crossover Mashup, best top 10 ever
King Kong vs Godzilla is so stupid because Godzilla is supposed to be like 100x bigger than King Kong. Kong climbs the Empire State Building, Godzilla is taller than the building.
dowingba ikr
King Kong is a Kaiju in the Monsterverse & he's still growing
If freddy krueger was a dlc character in injustice 2, that boiler room pinball attack he used on Jason should be his super move. Like if you agree.
He was in MK9 so he wont show up in I2
I have no idea what you're talking about
Avengers shouldn't count since it has been known since the Avengers have been teaming up since the golden days of comics. They've always existed in the same universe, so it is by all rights NOT a crossover
+theTwoFacedAngel It is for the cinematic universe.
Most of people dont know shit about comics.
theTwoFacedAngel
i'm so happy reading all of the comments that are just showering love on Freddy vs Jason
Avengers is not a crossover! They all live in the same world. The point of crossovers is two worlds colliding into one and Avengers is a single world as it's all part of Marvel.
+Koala true i was like wtf when that was #1
I don't know if they care enough to... care. These are just cheap clickbait list videos after all - pump out one top ten after another and don't stop long enough to double check everything.
+josh montemayor some of them had there own movie and that is the avengers First movie
+Koala yes it is, because they all had there own movies so basically its crossing over all of the superheroes personal lives
+John Kiss with S.H.I.E.L.D
In freddy vs Jason they only fought like 2 times
Djzilla2014 GAMING and Freddy had trouble with jason both times, Jason is one of only 3-4 to not get killed by Freddy in the dream world. The first few just ran from Freddy an woke up but Freddy just couldn't kill Jason
Jake Alter I know right
Djzilla2014 GAMING yup but they still was in the same movie
What about the Simpsons and family guy crossover?!
Madmadds Heart it wasn't a movie
Madmadds Heart that wasn't a movie and it sorta sucked.
Madmadds Heart that's n tv crossovers
Madmadds Heart THAT IS NOT A MOVIE IDIOT
Im glad they crossed the two shows are very alike but its not a movie
Looking forward for Gremlins vs Critters
Where is *_DESTROY ALL MONSTERS_*??? Toho did the same thing Disney did with Marvel's _The Avengers_. Only Toho did it first *40 years ago*. They made a bunch of monster movies, and then released _Destroy All Monsters_ featuring an all-star cast of kaijus.
They probably didn't want to put Godzilla on the list twice.
I thought destroy all monsters was a video game
Chris Heyburn
The video game is based on it.
The is godzilla is actually called zilla
And i always wanted to see final wars
Chris Heyburn
I just saw half of it on TV. It's from the creator of Versus and the MGS cutscenes from Twin Snakes and up. And that's just how Final Wars and Versus are, totally over the top, crazy and cheesy-awesome. There is a scene in Versus where one guy has 3 laser pointers - on his sword! XD
i love Freddy vs Jason
Godzilla and King Kong are getting a rematch in 2020 or 2024 and I would like to see how it goes.
Tatsumi Hicks the effects will be so much better, but the problem is they may fuck it up and soil the name of the original
Freddy VS. Jason, Alien VS. Predator and The Avengers = genius.
I don't care much about the timelines I just wish that AVP Requiem was better so that they could make more :'(
Saucy Life It would have honestly been a success if they didn't make the movie so god damn fucking dark. And I don't mean dark like gritty and violent. I mean that the visuals were so black that I couldn't tell what was going on. You know that my dad saw the movie and he says he had no idea there was a predalien in the movie. That's how bad it was.
XboxAnnihilator
AVP 2 was definitely too dark, yeah.
alien vs predator was not part of the real franchises. so think of them as their own films
Eamon McGillicuddy
No, I don't believe that, sorry XD
I am one of the ones that have hope that it is all connected.
I don't think anyone has heard of number 9...
I've heard of it actually
That movie is a masterpiece
So what?
or #10
"Yeah, haha! You could get killed, haha!" -Mickey mouse
8:55 that was one of my favorite parts in that movie!
