Sir is march me koi genuine demand ho to mai bhi shirkat k loye tayar hoon . Magar "mera jism meri marzi" , "khana mai garam kar loongi bistar khud garam kar lo" , "HAPPY DIVORCED" type k slogans walay march ?? Is it even debatable ? Kya ye aurto k masayl hain hamari society me ?? Sir ya to apko is "sazish" k baray me ilm nahi or agar apko ilm hai to bohot afsos hua apka Aurat march ko support karte hue .
I think people have issues with slogan like Mera jisam and meri marzi and many more not women rights, Sir

Males burn females, amputate their bodies and throw acids so mera jism meri mrzi s zada behtar or koi naara nae ho skta. Apki soch negative hai jo jism sun k kia sochty ho its not their fault. According to Quran ALLAH orders:
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59).
Now tell me Quran is first or sunnah?
The order of ALLAH is first or the act of MUHAMMAD (S.A.W)?
And before quoting the above hadith, please research that it is done before the order of Hijab for Women or after that? Or also research that the women was a stranger or a known because you are not responsible for a stranger, only for your own family. Thanks

Please must read it. I have started watching your videos for last couple of months. But on this particular subject I watched it out of sequence. I really like and admire you for your work and thoughts. I do respect your opinion on mera jism meri marzi but I doubt that you are mistaken. But how a person like you who always talk logically can be mistaken? I will not go in general discussion but will talk logically.
Firstly in this video you have talked about nature and other living things. Which living thing is lesbian gay or bisexual and have multiple partners same time? I think Pig is the only animal whose female not only have multiple partners at same time but also perform threesome or more. So are they going to have a life like a Pig?
Secondly, every machine comes with a booklet called how to use it or guide. Human is the best machines made by The Creator. So how it can be possible that the best machine will have no guide.
Third Male and female becomes a unit for propagation. Male and male or female and female can't make such unit.
Lastly I would insist that you should reconsider it. I am not arguing against the due rights of women.
That was brilliant now I only hope that the people will understand what he was just trying to say.

Ashir bhai, as a Pakistani male, I appreciate your point of view. Yes, women should be given basic rights. She equally deserves the right to property, the right to marry, the right to pursue a career and the right to make choices in her life. The issue is that our feminists are not demanding these rights . They just seem to import the catchy slogans from the other parts of the world.
Yes you own your body but showing your body parts with this slogan would hurt the real cause. "Apna khana khud garam kro", "mjhy kia maloom tumhara moza kahan hy", "Tu kary to stud, main kru to slut" "apni roti khud daalo" and much more! Why not slogans for eduation, awareness, property rights, strict laws, rape victims? These are some of real issues. Raise these issues and whole of Pakistan would be with you. Stay original and come up with the actual issues. :)

First of all I would like to know what made you think or decide to bring your daughter back to Pakistan at that age for few years?
The answer to this question tells it all. The western culture where many Pakistanis living including me, is so deteoriated (where they started from so called women freedom) and is detrimental to daughters specially that many have to take this step .... despite of all the perks society provides as u mentioned in part II. Knowing that, we must not let this agenda rise in Pakistan. Alhamdulillah so far our society is much better and family system is not distorted yet but it is under attack.

According to 2018 report, rural population of country is around 63%, women rights are completely messed up in rural areas and also in urban conservative households.
This doesn't mean that males are getting their rights properly, but women are targeted significantly in name of religion too, just to dismantle their voice.
You are very right sir. Context of this sentence is taken wrong. People are thinking that mera jism meri marzi would mean women want to indulge in obscenity, vulgarity and nudity, they are demanding to do whatever they want in above context and nobody can stop them but actually they are taking about their rights. This mislead comes from some of the written slogans which I think the so called organizers of this March must look at it first. Such as

If a father or brother is saying something like that, then the reply must not be like meri marzi.
Ashir sir a female has at a certain level the ultimate authority to educate her son in a best possible manner so that eventually he turns out to be a responsible and a decent man. I feel when it comes to claim rights it's like an interdependent phenomenon.

Ashir, good explaination but i think you took it in a different direction. We agree women should have rights but these women in current orat march are not even demanding rights, why is it mostly about "i can use my body the way i want". Can this demand coexist with islamic culture ? Is pakistan ready for this unmatching cultural shift? Instead demanding for better education, child support, equal job opertunity, a good status in society (which they have in most areas of pak i believe) they are focusing more on shiny stuff i.e. sex or body control. Is it realy a time to focus on this or should we worry about more real issues pak is facing right now. Also, this demand is made by small specific community of women and majority of pakiatani women do not support this, why this small community wants to push their personal agenda on entire female population of pak? Sorry Ashir, but you took it out of context this time, we better be more specific and less gernal here. Thanks

I agree that in some areas women are not given their basic rights that Islam and law gives them but here the main problem with that march is the Slogans. “Mera jism meri marzi” ek taraf, look at other slogans like: “lo beth gai sahi say (with an image of girl with wide open legs)”, “this is not your battlefield ( with an image of uterus), “shadi nahi azaadi”, “main bad kirdaar, main bad chalan” and what not. This is not an ordinary march, it’s a funded march.
They are not speaking up for women in oppression. Laws are there to protect women rights but this march is not telling women that this and this rights you have by law, here they are. No, why would they tell that. They are trying to impose failed and rejected theories by west in Pakistan now.

I agree with what you're saying(99%). It's reasonable. But unfortunately, I suspect, the women doing Aurat March would not agree with this take of yours on women's rights. There's an ulterior motive behind this March and how they present their arguments in the march. That's what everybody's suspicious about and this is the reason Entire community has gone into defence mode. We want to keep our familial and value system alive. Your arguments support it. It's good. BUT, Aurat march ain't about that.

Ashir you are wrong with reference to the slogans that these women are raising in Pakistan you might want to look deep into it. The agenda behind is very alarming kind off agenda that even our Canadian society not allow. Those women are funded for to destroy society fabric. As far as your example of Shahnaz that is same in india most likely worst. Geeta an indian girl is going far more worst situation.
Ashir you might want to do more fact finding with regards to this women March. I have four sisters and non of them married against there will not did my mother. Even in my marriage case my wife chose me it was not forced on her. I have a daughter and she has all the rights. So I disagree with the story you are trying to relate.
I understand one thing, every country has freedom of expressions in public according to their own culture and history. Living in Europe I understood that societies which are open also have challenges such as in Europe for women it is really difficult to find someone to get married after the age of 35. And most men who will meet them they want short term relationships. For everything we pay a price, we just have to decide which price we want to pay. Western values cannot be implemented in Pakistan by people who go to study in America and then make useless speeches on TV. Society needs to evolve from within.

I don’t think women from the elite class are marching for themselves as they already are empowered to be in a position to to out and march. They are marching for other oppressed women trying to raise voice for the rights of the oppressed. Do you think women from the remote and rural areas would dare to march to demand for their rights? Wouldn’t she be stoned to death or burnt alive in the misogynistic society such as ours?
