Former Case rep... get a jet drill with the drill bits in the handle and enlarge the main jet hole. start small and enlarge, put it back together and try it, don't go hog wild, drilling, Fixes everytime. Onans were made to run lean for emissions

Great info! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you got it running
3 years ago my brother and I had an Ingersoll YT 114 and that thing we unseize the motor put a battery in it and that thing was awesome little rusty replaced a couple bunch of pulleys a whole bunch of belts but every time they started it we couldn't shut the motor blades off but that thing ran a while unfortunately had to leave it where we were living and we moved but that one looks nice and looks in very good condition
Sure is hard to find equipment like these machines that will last 30/40 years and still be running. I love these old Case/Ingersoll tractors!
put some grease on the intake gasket and tighten it down
I would be very surprised to see metric bolts on 40+ year old American metal. 8mm is most likely 5/16
Where did you get your gaskets? Could you provide a link?
These are the 2 sets that I got. The manifold gaskets, and a brass float kit with carb gaskets. I had read many times that it was advisable to put a brass float in, and it turns out, it added to my problem. Old one went back in, and i used the gasket from the kit. The carb base gaskets I made myself from fiber/rubber gasket material from the autoparts store.
