- Doug Ford reveals his vision for Ontario Place with artist renderings and a sales pitch. He confirms the old Ontario Science Centre will be torn down and a smaller one rebuilt on the waterfront.
This was without a public hearing on the idea despite heavy objection. They're just going to ram-rod through the idea.

Isn't the Ontario Line supposed to have a subway station at the Science Centre? I guess people will enjoy an open field, LOL, or they will rename the stop to "Somewhere between Don Mills and Eglinton and Don Mills and Lawrence"

Why not just build another smaller Science Centre instead of needless getting rid of it and downsizing?
I have tons of Childhood memories of going there and plenty of Kids today love it so leave it alone!

No one person should be allowed to dictate such move. It should go to a referendum of the people of Ontario. Leave the science center alone and reopen ontario place as it was! Enough of all this INSIDER invested intrest with our landmarks!

这个事情有几点建议
1 这个事情估计很多因素，一个重要因素是有人看上湖边的地，要开发，就用政府做这个事情。
2 原来的science center被搬到湖边是做第三方的作用，来吸引人去这个湖边的地方，这个地方的周围要改造。
3这个Ontario science搬去的地方，附近工程项目一个是公共项目，二是私人定制好的的建设工程，不知道最后属于哪一个方式，安省税收人要出多少钱，最后工程谁设计，谁监督管理，这些地方是不是都是全封闭式的方式做建设。
4原来的science center要被扒掉，建设廉租房，这个1是有点可惜，毕竟这个馆应该是个很好的历史遗迹，这个做法有点humliate这个地方。2是新建设的场馆是不是就是因为作为一个吸引人去的工具，这个事情怎么看？
5 这个湖边的ontario Place本来是很多宽敞的地，都要建设成各种封闭式的建筑，而整个多伦多湖边交通不是很便利，没有整体环境条件变得科学合理，就是用湖边弄得都是建筑，里面做生意或者其他原因占住这些湖边的空地。
没有原来的空地，人不觉得，但是以后再想发展，有更好的方式建设，但是都满了，这个是不是有些不配套？
湖边发展早，街道不容易通到其他地方，这个事情不解决，就是一点一点封闭式做建设项目，这个事情怎么看，这个需要人都看看相关的事情。
