When you say for example the delta pro can do 7200 watts continuous, does that mean if it's connected to (4) 400 watt solar panels receiving sun ?

If you are looking to use a solar generator in the 20-30Kw range, you should look at the other more home off-grid units, especially the Bluetti 800-900 series and not the AC500. I have an AC300 and it works very well for me and my purpose with it, but I would look at the more "total off-grid" models if being totally off the grid was my goal.

That’s a dangerous situation. It’s one thing to have a pool party because a station went, or was shut down.
If it’s a situation that will require months/years to rebuild Kris’ neighbors will turn on him for being prepared. He has water, food, and the gear to survive long term. They will use any justification they can to try and take what’s his.
I had to explain to my mother over the course of years that her closest neighbors will come to any justification to take her stuff”she’s old, we have kids”, etc.
My mother is a genuinely good person and the look on her face when she finally realized that what I told her can happen.

Been running most of my home on 2 Delta Pro head units each with 2 extra battery units since 1-31-23 without any significant issues. I charge the units mainly by solar and supplement AC charging on cloudy or rainy days. The grid is now my backup. I'm going a different route. For a long time, I was prepared to go all out with roof mounted panels and a Tesla power wall. After considering cost and how roof panels tell the world that I still have power in a prolonged grid down situation, I decided against that. I then considered the type of solar generators in this video. Much cheaper than roof panels and an installed battery backup. They also offer the flexibility of being able to be moved. That said, I decided to go even cheaper. I've found several 1 kw generators for less than a $1000. I figure I can get 2 or 3 for less than the cost of one of the generators mentioned in this vid. The way I see it, multiple cheap generators can be spread throughout my house rather than trying to run only a few appliance off one massive generator. Not to mention if I go with an expensive generator, I can't afford a backup if it fails. Also 1 kw generators are significantly lighter than most of the ones featured in the video.

These two power stations run almost everything in my home. I’m thinking about getting one more Growatt so I can hook 2 together and get 220 volts to run my dryer. Just an FYI - your ac200p can easily power an electric chainsaw like Oregon's 18" 1500 watt chainsaw, especially with a few 200w panels connected. Cut 16" C.Elm for 6.5 hrs on a sunny day and still had 85% power left at the end of the job. An arborist can easily pay off such a setup in a week, if they wanted it. Just my $0.02.

I have an Ecoflow and a Generark, but they're only for short term back up. Say a few days without power, and I"m trying to limp along keeping the fridge going (one hour on, 3 hours off, and you don't open the fridge/freezer unless you really have to do so). What's glossed over during the sales pitches, is how long it takes to recharge the things using solar. 8 hours, and that's at PEAK sun input. So basically, you'd have it recharging all day, and it would run out in about 4 hours of reasonable use. I completely overestimated how useful it would be, but, if you're just trying to last until they get power back on, it's quite able to do so. If it's SHTF, then power it up all day, forget the fridge, and you're using it for a toaster oven and coffee maker, maybe a microwave. Trying to run a room heater? No way, it would drain them in no time. However, if I had someone that was on a cpap or something, then sure, you'd probably be okay, switching one to the other. I think of them as a crutch, and that's all. They're expensive for what you get, but I wanted several layers of capability and this is just one.

We have EGO products, and the batteries are pretty robust. Power station holds 4, and has similar bells and whistles of other power generators. But as with any prep item, 2 is 1 and 1 is none. Simple is good.... UPS: If the AC Grid power goes out, the generator will switch within a few milliseconds to the battery inverted AC to your connected devices so they will continue operating without any interruption. So, for example, if you are working on your computer and the AC power is cut off, your computer will receive AC power almost instantly from your station and you can safely continue using your computer. The same for a CPAP unit; your unit will continue to operate normally, even if the AC grid power is cut off.

I went with the bluetti AC300 I’m happy with it. If I had to do it all over again I thing the delta series is the best for preppers. Having duel fuel generators and ac units and all the other cool stuff they offer is right up a preppers ally

Kinda jealous of your multi-battery modular options vs the single add-on battery option for the ac200p . Also dig how the ac300 allows wind-power to be added into the system to supplement the charging of the unit/batteries. Enjoy!

Outstanding and complete explanation. I own two Delta Pro each one with the extra battery and has worked perfectly for me. In addition, I own the Bluetti ac2000p with the b230 extra battery. I might consider an upgrade with the AC500 with the additional extra battery. I thank you for the given advice. Hurricane season just started in Puerto Rico so I’m providing to all my toys their quality control respectively. Where are you located? Thanks for your continuous commitment.👏🏽🙏🏻

I'm new to this technology. Bluetti had the AC 200 Max at $800 off and the expansion battery was $400 off here in Canada. So I bought one of each. I only wanted it for an emergency backup. I still haven't tried it yet. I have been stocking up on a few items. Between global warming and the possibility of a very bad War there is no time to procrastinate on preparedness. Very sorry to hear about this horrific hurricane down in Florida. Our prayers go out to these people and hope they are safe.

Ecoflow for its price of entry and the scope of the project (a small office with a mini split and four computer monitors connected to my laptop). Great video, thank you!

I think the eco flow would be best for me, because it offers a fuel backup.

Great video. I’m sold on the eco flow line. The others seem very powerful but eco flow win hands down on its integrations with their other products.

Great info. At this point, if I go for an upgrade to my current portable system, then I'd actually go for the new Will Prose 48V portable system (3000w, 5kwh, 5kw input, all in the basic system, expandable at will at $1750/5kwh, buildable in 25 minutes per him) for a fraction of the cost.

Will prouse is awesome. He finds the price and quality sweet spot. Solid no frill testing with tear downs.
