I am not sure that these are Fall or not, but they have that witchy theme: “The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches” is great, I also like “In the Company of Witches” and “When the Crow’s Away”

Cat in the stacks series is my absolute favorite cozy mystery series. It's what introduced me to the genre and I keep going back and re-listening to the books. That's how much I just can't get enough of them. And I actually started the series with the fourth book. I have not yet read murder past due but I should be starting it pretty soon, once I finish up with another book in that series. I ordered MPD in paperback, which is how I want to read it. I'm so excited to hear that it is a Autumn themed book because it's the perfect time for me to start reading that book. 😁🍂

My favorite fall read is Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie. I read it every October and watch the Suchet adaptation. It has such fall vibes with bobbing for apples and decorating mini broom sticks, the pumpkins and apples mentioned! Love it!

This certainly my was HUGE!🤗 I have SO MANY 4" x11" sheets of paper w/ recommendations from you; at least 13/14!! I have decided to get a notebook just for your recs, seriously. I am presently reading an Emily Dickinson murder mystery. There are only 3 and this is the 2nd I've read. Tomorrow I am starting A Spell For Trouble by Esme Addison, an author you mentioned. German Shepherd dog on cover. That was the reason I picked it up at my library. I had German Shepherds all my life up until about 10 yrs. ago. Trained every one of them. Also have the Steeped To Death going and I like it. I'm pretty sure I have REBECCA, but can't find it😐 I have about 325+ books to look through(that's my TBR). I LOVE Edgar Allen Poe and always save Oct. for him. I have his whole collection of everything he wrote as well as many bks. about his life. Sad and tragic life. I'm bushed after this! Thanks Amy, nitey-nite!

That is a huge TBR! Wow 💙That is a lot of pages. I'm so flattered! I hope you love A Spell For Trouble. I think it's such a whimsical, fun read. That's incredible that you trained so many German Shepherds. Well done! 💙

Love all the recommendations. I have heard of most of these, but not all. Added a few to my TBR. I read Diane Kelly's - A Trip With Trouble recently. I thought it was good, but wished there had been more autumn vibes to it. There were mentions of leaves, a fireplace, a scarecrow and pumpkins at the beginning of the book, but I was hoping for more autumnal descriptions throughout. I still enjoyed it though. I will definitely read more from her in the future. I am currently reading a Libby Klein book, Mischief Nights Are Murder. I am only about 5 chapters in, but really like the sarcastic, witty banter with the main character and her elderly aunt. It feels very cozy and it takes place during fall/halloween. I kind of just jumped in, hopefully it will be ok? Thanks for sharing so many recommendations with us! Happy Weekend!

You mentioned a lot my favorite series. A few that are Fall to me that you didn't mention are Cranberry Cove by Peg Cochran, Maple Syrup Mysteries by Catherine Bruns, and Cider Shop Mysteries by Julie Anne Lindsey. Orchards and bogs feel like Fall to me. Also, you find more apple, maple, and cranberry food items during Fall.

@@bookswithamymarie I initially read the Cranberry Cove series for the Lake Michigan (I live nearby) setting and the cat. The series has a great setting, characters, and mysteries. I also love the authors writing style. You learn about cranberry harvesting and there's a lot of cranberry baked good and food talk. I highly recommend you try it. 💜😺

I’ve finished reading my way through the Agatha Christie Poirot series, and now I’m making my way through the Miss Marple stories, before I move onto her stand-alone books. I’d read a few here and there over the years, and of course, watched the tv adaptations, but I decided to go through them in publication order and once I finish a book I re-watch an adaptation. It’s amazing how different the tv version can be to the original but it’s so much fun!

Those two books, along with The Golden Spoon, were books I read on your recommendation, so thank you!! I agree that Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice For Murderers has an incredible found family vibe and I absolutely adore Vera! It takes place IN VERMONT 🍁 and the main character is a baker starting over from her old life in Boston. How I wish booktubers would say which person a book is written in. I listen to audiobooks and want to be read to, not have someone tell their story. I.e. It is a bit creepy having “I” talk in your ear when trying to rest. A third person narrator is what works that way. Unfortunately, noone gives this information when giving the synopsis. Would be great! I am listing the series I can’t read for a future, when “I” might not bother me. Otherwise great channel and videos!
