Known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World," the Atlantic Coast city of Stuart is located along Florida’s renowned Treasure Coast, north of Palm Beach and south of Vero Beach. Along with fishing and other water-intensive pleasures, Stuart is famed for its historic and pedestrian-friendly downtown.
The historic small-town fishing village of Port Salerno blends local color with art galleries, working artist studios, and waterfront dining, featuring locally-caught seafood, as well as land lover fare.

The Riverwalk is awesome great views for after dinner stroll. Port Salerno is very trendy. The manatee pocket area is growing up. Jensen Beach down town area is very laid back vibe as well.

I was born in Stuart, Martin County, Florida in 1949. It was my
permanent home of record for about 56 years. The place is owned and
operated by the rich people. Their main plan is to protect and
aggrandize their own interests. There is nothing new about false arrests
and false accusations in that place. Growing up there in the 1950s and
60s, serial adult felons lived freely. Their victims, including
children, who turned them in for their nefarious offenses were the ones
who got in trouble for it, including being tortured to keep their mouths
shut. Having enemies there can be fatal and at least harmful, leaving
you no legitimate recourse through the legal system, unless, of course,
you are wealthy and have connections and friends in high places. But
then, they do not mess like that with people who have resources to hire
lawyers and their own investigators. When I last lived there I got
poisoned twice, I avoided being deliberately run down when on my bicycle
in Stuart. The two driving the car in Stuart looked identical to the
two driving a vehicle in West Palm Beach who tried doing the same thing
there. They looked identical to the two driving a pickup truck in
another incident in Stuart. There was much following and stalking. There
were many petty annoyances such as extreme, deliberate, ear splitting
noises produced deliberately. There is no help from the law there.
Government there is as crooked as a cork screw. The crimes against
myself I reported, most likely they did not even process the reports and
put them on the books. Maybe that is how they keep keep their crime
statistics lower, by not reporting when they think they can get away
with it. The last harassment was a complaint by one person. He claimed
to have a witness. He went to the police / sheriff and said I had
followed him to his house, and threatened his life. I mean, they were
actually questioning me and investigating and getting ready to arrest me
for it. A deputy pointed out the miscreant who made the complaint. I
did not know him. I had never spoken to him. I had no idea whatsoever
where that liar lived. I had never uttered any kind of offensive
statement to him or anywhere near him. Then, when I wanted his name and
address to file a law suit against him, which I had a right to know,
they refused the information. There are many underhanded tactics they
    use.

I heard they installed a safety cable you hook onto your belt; kinda like bridge painters or iron workers.
