Coming from Canada in December and will be staying on Hutchinson Island for a month. Definitely will be visiting Stuart several times. Thanks for the informative video
40 year resident of Jensen beach. By dads family was one of the first settlers in the area and had a member as the bridge tender. Tickets used to be sold to cross the old st. Lucie bridge at a few cents.
I just booked my flight for October 1st. I will be driving down from Orlando/ Melbourne Airport, First stop Vero and will be checking out Indian River and Martin Counties for my possible future home. Thank you 👍
I'm a Native. My opinion only...but I really love meeting Brits visiting FLA. They are friendly, cheerful and love our signature sunshine. Hope things return to normal soon. Stay safe. 🌞
Haven't finished video, but movie poster in Elliot Museum has Frances Langford on it. Wife of Ralph Evinrude, outboard motor mogul, and large holding of land in Jensen Beach (Stuart really) and she owned marina on Indian River there. He funded FIT satellite campus so no development could occur on that land around the marina
The lyric theater has been there as well for a century as well During ww2 they captured a German I boat off the American coast and discovered 2 tickets to the lyric theater on it
Thanks for the video. Let’s me know what I can look forward to for a potential work trip. Out of curiosity was there a reason you did not lodge in the town of Stuart?
Hello Chad I’ve lived in Stuart many years and never saw pizza in port Salerno or Stuart that looks like this. Can you please share the name of the pizza shop. Need to go there ASAP 👍😀🍕
Vesuvio’s Pizzeria in a small strip mall behind the RaceTrac on US 1 in Stuart. The absolute best pizza we’ve had anywhere in a really long time! Perfectly baked and loved the large pepperonis. They also have two large cases of authentic Italian desserts. A lot of customers were just coming in for the sweets! Highly recommend Vesuvio’s!
Salerno Pizza has been here forever. good pizza AND my favorite non pizza is theLinguini w/ clams. I like the white, bot the red. they do not over cook the pasta
It's NOT over a hundred miles north of Miami, it IS 90 miles north of Miami, and it IS a bit overpriced compared to towns similar to it on the other coast...
@@ChadGallivanter I used to drive down there regularly from Stuart you were looking at either the markers on the turnpike and I-95 which are highly inaccurate, or a stat online which is also highly inaccurate... used to do it on the regular basis only do occasionally now, and it's 90 miles...
@@ChadGallivanter alright counting downtown to downtown that's a bit more acceptable, from what I remember that would be about a hundred and four that's close enough...
Wouldn’t recommend the sailfish resort, not a good location very over priced , if you have kids much better places to go, if you like food much better places to go!
I've lived here for 21 years and love it here. Thank you for shining a light on our little gem of Florida.
You live in a beautiful place!
Love vacationing in Stuart every few years from Indiana. Beautiful area.
Thanks for visiting Stuart! It's a nice little town

Well done. We certainly will check out The Elliot Museum. Twisted Tuna is a must to eat.
Thank u Shari!
Great video ! Happy to say just bought my house in Stuart... and this video will help me to know the area better.
My home town first came to Stuart in 1947 (I don’t remember the visit) but have enjoyed living there for many years.

Loved it

Anither great one Chad. I haven't been to Stuart since the 90's. Great place.
Thx Mike!
@@ChadGallivanter you wouldn't recognize it from the 90's.. enormous growth
Excellent
I missed my whole life outside of Florida...Haha. Coming home soon, one way or another. This sight will help me pick a town I think.
Wow, another one for my list! Stuart is gorgeous, but strangely reminded me of some of the towns I saw in Australia. Cheers
Very unique landscape for Florida!
Very interesting! We’ll bookmark this town, for our next visit to Florida!
Anne & Eric
Definitely!

Thank you both!
Great Video! I'm a Real estate agent here and love it!
Thanks Jason!
if you’re in Stuart have lunch at the Whistlestop and have the best cheesesteak in South Florida. they have a pet friendly outdoor area as well
when living in Boca, Stuart would be an occasional lunch ride. the Stuart Air Show is nice.
Thanks for extra tips on places to stay. Great help when watching all the great places
Great work.
Thanks!

What did you decide on?
Another great video. I'm banking them all until we Brits are allowed back over there. This is definately a place we'll be visiting.

The beach is beautiful
Missed Conchie Joe's, just north of the Jensen Beach causeway. In my option the best seafood in the area. Or King Neptune's right there by Shrimper's
Is Rocky Poibt nearby? Great video
YES. it is in Port Salerno

Real estate seems to be more reasonably priced in the Stuart area. More so than in SWFL. Or am I mistaken?
