Agree....th3 folding is good for streets, this one for a bit of both. I took mine to the common multiple times (Himiway) and used it as a cargo bike, so I can set up my hammock in the common. Had trouble with weight and size of mine going through the barriers by the tunnel, walking it through ..this bike looks more narrow and lighter in weight compared to mine. Another great video
For different groups of people and purposes, the brand HITWAY has launched many kinds of electric bicycles. I also like their products very much. My BK8 experience is perfect.
Got this same exact one but it's Colorway. Good bike but I wished the handle bars extended. I lean way too far down and it's a strain on my back for extended periods. Plus it's a really tall bike for short people like my wife that is 5'5.

I only have experience with Hitway, the smaller folding e-bike like BK6 and BK9 11 feel more comfortable for me as the handle bar is adjustable as well as seat post. I find the BK3 really small for me @ 6”1

You reviewed the Bk 3M as well so what is the difference and which one is better as I’m trying to buy one but a bit confused between the Bk s3 and Bk 3M. And the Bk 3M is not listed on hitway website so don’t know where to find
I like BK11 as it ride comfortably in most road conditions, no problem with small pot holes and rough pavement. However, as these are road legal you won’t get the power like the 500w motors of other companies.
Love mine but HATE the discc brakes. Back brakes are useless. Have brought into bike shop and has not helped at all. Does Anyone know which hydralic brakes that are easy to install will fit this bike??
Just bought a bike (bk6 though) and a bit confused by one particular problem. How do you protect it from rain when battery is out? Literally anyone in Netherlands advise take out battery if bike is left on the street for a long period of time but unlike most of bikes hitway have vertical positioning of battery, therefore if i leave it outside in rain (basically any day), water droplets will fall onto battery connection. Do you keep battery inside or put maybe some waterproof cloth on it?
Good question, my bike is not for commute but fun and I don’t really ride in the rain as I won’t go out if not sunny. Sorry I can’t answer your question, I think a bit of water on the battery case or even battery connection would be fine but the controller is the part where it has to stay dry and there are reports of people riding through rain and water damage the controller
I sold all except the BK11 , I like the BK11 the most as it is the most comfortable to ride on uneven road and foldable. For long distance and smooth road I would have kept the BK19 instead.
It has to be specific for the Hitway, I tried cheap ebay one and although the connector match it does nothing. This is the once I bought amzn.to/3PoP5PO
I have seen the same batteries being sold on Aliexpress with no brand, hope you get it sorted. Please let me know if you have any success as battery do not last forever and I will need one if a few years down the line.
Hey, I just got the same bike but i messed with the settings because I did not get very much pedal accistance. So can anyone please give the best and the correct P settings.
Try them, I will not go into service menu as it is risky. Even just to get in it is easy to accidentally mess up. This is the reason I did not do a service menu video even it would be super popular. Comments here is open to everyone and that would open another can of worms for other user to have accidents and brick their bikes. contact@hitway.eu
Search unlock and the small print of controller name on the corner of the display. Quite a few video online already. Much write down all the settings before you change anything in case of mistake. It is not without risk and I don’t recommend doing it

Battery still hold charge, I am 95kg and there is no problem getting the stated 15mph and it does it very quickly.

I got the US version that’s 25MPh and it’s fast and fun 😂 750W motor too for $600

Uk road legal there is no throttle, I am trying to get one from Amazon

First use how long you charged?
Overnight , it is already 2/3 full tho. First charge from 1 bar to full around 7 hours
