Islam is not a new religion. It is the same path (religion) that well known messengers of God were on, like Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses , Jesus and Mohammad (peace be upon them). They all taught us the same message, ie to worship the ONE true God (our creator) and to do good.

Guys, you really don't know how much i identify with this video. I am literally going through the same process right now, i'm so nervous to tell my parents, family and my friends (They will think i'm crazy) and i'm also so, so, so afraid to the point that i haven't even professed my faith for fear of not honoring this religion but tbh, this video has given me the security to keep going, and i really appreciate the testimony of this journey.
I hope things go well with you inshallah. I too am in a similar position,.. I am in the process of educating myself on Islam before I convert (my close friends know about this and they are very supportive) but my parents are atheist and think religion is a waste of time... when I told my mom I was interested in Islam a few months ago then she laughed because she thought I was joking then told me to just forget about it. Inshallah I will educate myself best I can about what being a Muslim entails (watching Saleh family helps!!) and then perform my shahada when I am 110% confident of my journey, then I will tell my parents again.

I'm utterly fascinated and finding such joy in this learning, including considering seeing if I can attend a local Muslim service. Thank you for bringing joy and love into the world. I lost my dad exactly 9 days after I had gotten out of hospital, I didn't have him in my life for 23 years, but the final 4 years we had together were so special, he accepted and loved my husband who is Muslim and treated him and loved him like a son, and also accepted that I had converted to Islam and became a Muslim too because I was brought up as a roman Catholic, it's been such a difficult year because I also don't have my mum either as I lost her in 2007, and I'm an only child so it's been absolute heartache 💔

Actually they have posted few videos regarding the topic "Rights of Women in Islam". U can search those videos on their channel.
You have no rights as a woman in islam, not here in Pakistan or any of the Islamic states. You may have them elsewhere but not in sharia ran countries or cities.
@@ahmedibnsanun3504 Actually in Arab countries like Egypt, Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, women have rights, they have the right to work, the right to create their own business, and mostly if they get a divorce, the children will stay in their custody.
So, I don't know what idea made you think because there is Sharia(which by the way is the main reason why most women have rights in the first place)
And Arab countries are giving women their rights, so before you say anything out of ignorance, please research on the internet.

I'm so sorry you lost your dad♥️I lost my husband around the same time, and it's really hard.
My grandma actually died back in 2009, but in 2008 she gave me this book that she had started when I was born, it had all these kinds of questions, and I still haven't finished reading it because I want to learn new things about her continually, you know? If I read it all at once, now that she's gone, there's nothing new to learn. I wish I had my grandpa do it lol he passed in 2019 but thankfully I had so much more time with him as an adult that I learned more stories then I'd ever gotten out of him in writing😂
But I do absolutely cherish the book my grandma made. One downside 😂I'm the only grandchild she gave one to. She said she planned on making more for all her grandkids and give to them when they turned 18 but she died before she had the chance to. And then someone mentioned my book to my aunt right after my grandma died😳and the jealousy ensued. And they tried to get me to give it to my cousin's lol and I was nice but said no thank you, but was more than happy to make copies of it for them 😊so I could still have the original.

Oh, by the way, this has been my first Ramadan. And while I am trying to participate in the fasting everyday even though I am not a Muslim. It’s been very liberating. But also sometimes it’s been hard. I have not been successful everyday, but I am trying! It’s a really long month!

I so get what they both said about his Dad being such a great storyteller and I just lost my Aunt and she also could tell great stories or maybe it was she just loved us cared about her our faith and gave great advice. Was Born again Christian and took her faith and shared it with me that I have such great memories of her as I read and study my faith.

I renounced my Christian faith when I was 16 and became agnostic. I do consider myself spiritual, mostly because of the experiences I've had with the dead. It was quite a relief though, not having something or someone looming over me and watching my every move 24/7. Now I have nothing governing my actions except myself, so I am consciously trying to be a good person because its the right thing to do. I've had to explain to my family that its ok to pray around me, I'm just not going to participate. For some reason they think I'll get offended, which is not the case. I still celebrate Christmas and Easter as family get-together days (even though both holidays where originally Celtic and I celebrate the originals anyways). I'm slowly finding my way in an area that is mainly Christian. It can be tough some days, but on other days it's freeing.
Aslm Saleh family both my parents are late may the Almighty Allah grant them the highest place in Jannah In Shaa Allah, but what I take as priceless is performing Haji with both of them. ❤️🙏

Just been thinking about this-
Hijabs are a lot like bras-
You don’t have to wear one until puberty,
You wear it when you’re around other people (usually men so you don’t get harassed),
And you don’t wear it in the comfort of your own home if you don’t want to. Anyone can wear one, and some are decorated and different based on activity (sports bras and different hijabs so you don’t get hot in the summer). I know they are still very different but I’ve been thinking about the connection recently.

So in Muslim majority countries Muslim women are wearing hijab to not be harassed by Muslim men their fellow believers? Where is the respect?
@@hereweare9096 it may be hard for u to believe this but the religion of Islam itself is perfect, but the people who follow the religion may not be perfect. If they did follow the religion of Islam truly, then they would respect women because Islam teaches us to value and respect women. In countries such as Pakistan which is a Muslim majority country, many women are sexually harassed by men, they may call themselves “Muslims” but they are not because they don’t follow the teachings of Islam. So yes, Muslim women do wear the hijab in Muslim countries because it is a form of protection and it represents our devotion to Allah (swt).
@@hereweare9096 there are stories still of women who have been r@p3d at the Kaaba, and in Mecca. I do know that the hijab is used as a form of worship, not to not be harassed, but what you have to understand is that most people don’t harass others in Islam, but the word “almost” is important to that statement. Most people in Islam are very respectable, being the wonderful people that they are, but bad things still happen no matter what you try. Yes, I admit that I made a minor mistake when it came to a silly comparison, but the way that you came at me like that was not very respectful, unlike the people of Islam. There are much kinder ways you could’ve worded your response to tell me my mistake. Where is the respect?

I can't watch any of your videos where I don't have a big smile. I take care of people like your dad and many times the stories they tell me have never been passed to their family So I would use my phone and video them answering questions i would ask them like..How did you meet your wife...what did it feel like holding your son for the first time..And when they leave their body ( because our soul lives on) I give the family a CD of our sharing. We all think we have more time and when illness happens everybody focuses on that..please Anyone who has a parent in this situation consider asking questions that you have always wondered about to take their mind off the illness.
