The ticket offices are a good idea in that they are very helpful and can explain things for you and answer any questions you. They were very nice and helpful when I was there
Nice! :) You could have bought everything from the ticket machine at the airport and just stayed on the train depending which one you caught. No need to get out at Vienna Hbf.
depends on what you want to do and how fast you will go around...but hallstatt is relatively small so if you will just go around really quick its enough...the salt mine will take a lot of time as you need to climb and trek and then go on a tour inside the cave
@@ShinEverywhere I would not have seen it , i left my Village in the age of 19 , travelling and working around the Planet for 25 years , and now i am back in Austria based in Graz (2 biggest City in Austria ) and have a small business for tourists making City-Tours with Rickshaws , so if you ever come to Graz i inviite you to a City-tour for free and you will have the best content for your videos
Don't go to Hallstadt. Hallstatt is terribly overcrowded, and the residents are really fed up with selfie-taking tourists. Go to any other place in the Salzkammergut, like Sankt Wolfgang, Gmunden, or Bad Ischl - lovely places, all easy to reach by public transport.
Totally agree with you. Hallstatt is totally overcrowded and yes it is a beautiful place to look across the lake. Gmunden and Bad Ischl are really gorgeous as alternatives.

Beautiful landscapes, yet these boring people are all looking into their phones and tablets. Very, very sad.
thats the irony of it...people who are used to it will not appreciate its beauty
What the hell 60€ for one way?
its one way
