    We travelled this path with the regiojet bus and it was very efficient, fast and comfortable and it had three stations in bratislava. We tried Gatto Matto restaurant, which had two different branch in the old city and their food was high quality with good price.

      Never tried the bus ride to Bratislava but I’m pretty sure it’s reliable and efficient.
      I heard a lot of good stuff about Gatto Matto. Time to try it out! Thanks for the input.

    In Slovakia, it's often called a Hungarian Langos because that's where it is originally from, but it is very popular all over Slovakia, especially in summer.
    I used to work in Eurovea Shopping Mall and it was often full of Austrians on Sundays because shops are closed in Austria on Sundays, that's how I found out about that law in Austria :)
    btw I really like the way you say Bratislava, it sounds so cool in your accent

    Actualy o tried booking thru flixbus, charing around €14 for a rounf trip but didnt see any such memtion about free public transportation like in train ticket u showed.
    Hence the query.

    it mostly leaves from platform 12, only occasionally from platforms 9 or 10, depends on how busy Hbf gets... I once had my train platform changed from 12 AB to 9CE :D not fun I tell you :D
    btw once the state border to Devinska Nova Ves section is electrified and done upgrading (the date is set to Dec 14th atm), this route will be a lot quicker - REX8 has a couple stops within Vienna, but once out, REX trains atm can go up to 140 kmh all the way to Marchegg (cant tell how fast IC/RJ trains will go since those services are only planned atm) - right now it is around 40mins from Vienna to Marchegg :) so will see whats the total travel time once that route is fully accessible again :)
    I actually live in Bratislava :D ... if I saw it right, in one part of the video you showed the mall I work at, for the bookstore on the upper floor right above grocery store, to be precise :D ... just in case you happen to visit Bratislava again and I work that day :D

    The best ice cream in Bratislava is Luculus. You can find it in the old town. It is my favorite one. I recommend 😋🤤😍

    sorry for a bit of spamming, but the station you used both times wasnt Bratislava main station (as I mentioned in my previous comment, it isnt served by REX8 atm until the section between Devinska Nova Ves and state border is done, so atm you would have to take a bus to Marchegg and from there REX8 to Vienna), but Bratislava - Petržalka train station, which is IMO more of a freight train station with passenger services :D

    does the ticket include the way back to vienna too ,past the 24hours?

    • @KhyatiPuria
      @KhyatiPuria  5 місяців тому +2

      The ticket has a validity of 3 days. So yes you could return after 24 hours with the same ticket. Only the public transportation within Bratislava loses its validity after the first day.

    You want even better gelato? Try i Nonni Cremeria not far from Arthur, Vienna high standard is easy to beat here 😊

      Yes you can also buy them at the self service terminal or at the ticket counter.

    Does a 24h public transport ticket in Bratislava cover a trip to the Devin Castle or do we need to buy separate tickets?

    • @NiktoPH
      @NiktoPH 5 місяців тому +3

      It is covered, Devin and Devin Castle are still district of the Bratislava.

    I'm trying to look up the tickets online as you did. I'm putting in Wien & Bratislava but it's not giving me any direct routes that are 59mins. Everything that comes up has a transfer from a bus replacement service. I think part of the train route not available? Do you have a video or recommendations on how to take a bus (i.e., where the stops are) like Flixbus or whatever is the Vienna equivalent? Thank you!!! Your videos are awesome!

    • @KhyatiPuria
      @KhyatiPuria  4 місяці тому +1

      You're right...just double-checked it. There seems to be some construction going on currently.
      However you can also take the Flixbus to Bratislava. It also departs from Vienna Central station but takes 1:30h instead of 1h (train). If you plan ahead, you also might get cheap tickets.

      as mentioned in the video, we always park our car in the Eurovea shopping mall. It offers 5 hours free parking on Sundays. And is very close to Danube and Old town.

    • @NiktoPH
      @NiktoPH 5 місяців тому +1

      Eurovea or Nivy shopping malss, both have 5h free parking and another 3e/h. Or you can park in the city centre on the streets, its regulated but on Sundays some streets have completely free or just 1e/h.
