Just tack all the pieces( X-members, etc) together first, then work your way back and forth, side to side, in the same pattern to finish weld it a bit at a time to help lessen the warpage. Gusset it last.
@@rixtrix11 that's what i was leaning towards as procedure. There's still a ton of stuff to fab but i want to get the bulk of it located before any warp coming into play
@@mikeconnelly7032 I don't have a goal date set or anything but I want to knock out as much as possible by January and it would be awesome to get it to an event or two next year
Dude you did this way to hard. Should tac ever thing then cross brace everything frist and center brace as well . And use alternate welding and the plate with everything still in place. Any of you have warping after all of that? You are welding too hot.
