I am a sixty year old gay man and I just cried when I saw the two of you see the ocean for the first time. "This is the most beautiful day of my life," one of you said. I'm still crying. I see so much beauty in being Amish and I see so much beauty in experiencing life beyond being Amish. I agree with the one of you who said you'd prefer the peace of an out house rather than the "robot" toilets that flush the moment you stand up, sometimes even before you sit down! I love the images of the canned peaches and other homemade canned goods. One can admire the simplicity of the Amish while also admiring the beauty of modern conveniences and life. I cried again when the two of you went up in the parasol flying over the ocean and I just know that your grandma, your dear, dear grandma is going to get a big hug from Jesus when she makes her way into the next realm. She wanted you to "feel closer to God" by experiencing more of life than you had been allowed to. Bless your grandma, girls! And bless you two! 🙂
So glad they got to see the ocean. That's something so simple everyone should get to experience. How is going up in the air a sin? Birds fly. And religious people of all faiths say animals come from their god, prophet, dieti
Maybe because birds naturally fly and humans don't? Although, I don't think the Amish took in the account of flightless birds like an ostrich or penguins in their religion.
According to their teachings God gave every living thing a purpose, if you like a job to live within the parameters God had laid out. So to do something alien to those teachings is a sin. I once spent some time with a mennonite community in Belize and be honest I have never met a more respectful, open, honest and hardworking set of people. The younger children were allowed to ask questions and be as inquisitive as they wanted so they could gain knowledge of us outsiders so long as they showed respect to us and we showed respect to them.
i think a lot of people think parasailing is a very intense and thrilling experience, which it can be if you really work yourself up but if you don’t and you stay calm, it’s actually really really peaceful. it’s super quiet up there, you can see everything the light touches, and overall one of the most relaxing things i’ve personally ever done. definitely would recommend, plus you might see some dolphins!

I honestly admire the modesty, truly. But my god I feel so bad for them in ways too because they’re missing out on so much this beautiful world has to offer. So wholesome 🥺🥺
This made me tear up. I felt their happiness in my heart. I wish their elders were not so strict and allowed the young to experience more things in life. Same feeling I get in an airplane above the clouds. So happy these young ladies got to have this amazing time.

As someone who grew on an island, I have the ocean granted. It is always amazing when people see it for the first time. In my case, I still do not see snow in person yet, so I think it will be a similar experience for me.
She thought the beach was water & trees… Damn man we are privileged
I'm so happy for them. Everyone deserves to have this much fun in life.
This Grandma is so awesome! It’s so humbling and baffling at the same time how much I’ve been to the beach and never thought twice about it. And here these young ladies are ecstatic and it’s truly heartbreaking how sheltered they are forced to live. I hope they can explore more of the world and live happy❤️
I love that they didn't just walk around the beach but got really involved in the experience! Don't go halfway, go crazy!
I like how the ladies looked at being out of their comfort zone and smashed it. Thats called "character."
i'm sorry if the grandma isn't one of the most pure human beings i don't know who is
These girls are amazing. I love them. I LOVE their innocence and their happiness and all these experiences that we ALL got to share with them. The look in her eyes when she was in the ocean! Tears of happiness. God wants us to experience life! Nature is His creation! Much love from Florida!
These girls are so wholesome and so cute, especially as they experience all these new fun things! And their Grandma is just sooo cool! :)
THANK YOU for reminding us what good mannered kids are, been a long time since I heard genuine laughter and appreciation from teenagers.
Grandma is literally SUCH a badass. What a good influence on those young girls.
Spoken like a true grandma... I won’t tell baby♥️
“it’s a sin for us to go up in the air” damn is anything not a sin for the amish??
Not flying...
Death…
Its actually kinda sad and almost brainwashing, not trying to disrespect but they shouldn’t be in constant worry of doing something against their religion
Different communities have different rules.
It's sad cause it's limiting them they should be allowed to see the outside and then decide whether to stay or go
Rosanna I feel closer to God this girl's are so incredibly humble
what does that have to do with you being gay?
@@Elliesbow He's describing himself just like the "60 years old" and "man" part.
@@LAura-qr2ff no one cares about your sexuality. lol 😂
@3:15...tears of joy at the look on her face!
I love that they’re so brave and the grandma she is mintThese people are iconic
The grandma is so cool I love the part we’re she said she won’t tell
Man, i teared up for these girls. So happy for them.
Those kids were so sweet. Glad they got the exposure to the rest of the world, even if it was a small slice.
i love how granny supports the girls, she is very fun and so are the girls.
I just can’t stop crying 😭😭, so much happiness to see the ocean! The laughter of these girls made me feel very grateful for everything I have✨✨
Grandmas like her are priceless ❤
Many people don't get to experience the ocean.
It was beautiful seeing Rosanna's reaction to seeing the beach & touching the sand for the first time.
i think a lot of people think parasailing is a very intense and thrilling experience, which it can be if you really work yourself up but if you don’t and you stay calm, it’s actually really really peaceful. it’s super quiet up there, you can see everything the light touches, and overall one of the most relaxing things i’ve personally ever done. definitely would recommend, plus you might see some dolphins!
"It was really something to see”
Camera man proceeds to capture a booty swinging from right to left 😂😂😂 4:17
😂🤣
Thank God it was shot as a distance🤣
i know wtf!
needed an inhaler for how excited I was watching my sweet lovely girls enjoy a beautiful time at the beach. The joy is transferable!
grandma is literally the best and coolest person ever
I love grandma!!! She actually give these girls a chance of life and a lifetime of memories. What a wonderful woman . 💞💕😘🙏🌸
"I hope we'll see you again" Rosanna is so funny I love her personality so much
The looks on their innocent faces is priceless. So wonderful for them.
This is literally me every time I get a chance to go to the ocean. Is the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever seen so breathtaking every single time…
I’m so happy they’re having fun & enjoying life ❤️ shout out to grandma for being so understanding, supportive and outgoing!
This is a heartwaming story. Seeing these girls experience something way different from what they are used to is a treat.
Such a beautiful moment to be part of, thank you for this
at the end when Rosanna was talking about how happy she is I almost started tearing up
I freaking love them and their grandma. They’re living life for sure.
This is the most heartwarming thing I have ever seen. I could feel her joy.
Alot of people have never seen the ocean I'm 62 yrs old have never seen the ocean just have never been able to offord a trip to the ocean,I KNOW ALOT of people who also have never been to see THE THE ocean for the same reason
Though I'm so happy FOR THEASE Girls who got to, I loved seeing how beautiful it is by the wonderment IN THIER EYES. LOL love it
This is so great to see! The grandmother and the girls are sweet.
I'm so glad they could make a chosen family where they are. They were so worried about not having any support when they made their decision to leave, so it's very heartwarming to see them have such an amazing community nearby!
This is the most wholesome thing ever🥺 so humbling
This makes me so emotional , we are all very lucky to be watching these girls experience this
It makes me so happy to see other girls happy. It truly does.
Telling them that it's a sin to go up in the air is so sad. Like the one gal said, she felt closer to God. What a great feeling for an Amish gal or anyone for that matter. Same feeling I get in an airplane above the clouds. So happy these young ladies got to have this amazing time.
Way to go Granny! Giving these sweet young ladies a chance to see that there is more to the world outside of their little isolated bubble. I hope they savor that experience and that it inspires them to seek more adventures!
