I don’t know if it’s the nurse in me or as a person who’s just had a few surgeries before but I kept yelling at you to lay down and get some rest. Especially when you started trying to see the incision, I’m like you know you have to put all those things back in place and you’re in pain. I gotta say, you are one very determined and strong person. There is no way I would have worried about a camera in that much pain I applaud you for real.
Facts! Rest? What a foreign concept 😂😆 I needed to check the incisions, as instructed. But day 2 was easier 😊

Absolutely....I felt faint like you did for the 1st 2 to 4 weeks.....it was like it took everything out of me just to change the dressings....
This video helped me understand a lot more than what is out there online. I appreciate you sharing the prep process and the first day in VERY detail form. Your honesty about high tolerance and low tolerance was very helpful. I do have a low tolerance for pain and to hear you speak on it and the cross reference of comparison to a c-section was informative. You helped many of us understand a lot, which will help us make the decision to move at a pace that is just right for us. I still plan to go through this journey.....just working on losing the recommended weight so the results after the surgery will be just what I envisioned.

Wow! I’m mean when you break it down this way… I’m even in awe. Honestly, it was only God. Like I said, as I was editing the video back, and watching it myself, I just cannot believe it. I cannot believe that this was all a month ago. I cannot believe that I had such resilience. I mean, I know that I am a resilient person, so it’s not that part that is a shock for me. It’s just having to watch it back. I’ve never had to watch myself back in such a state. So it was something else for me as well, so I can only imagine what it was like for everyone else watching. Wild!

Good luck on your recovery journey... advice... Please do NOT wear wire bras for at least one year.... although you will feel healed, keloids can form quickly from pressure/rubbing on or around the incision area. I am speaking from knowledge, experience and misery! Praying for your healing.

My God! We were built to withstand all the forces placed in front of us, those we choose or not. I sure we were all screaming for you to get back in bed and not check the incisions on the first day. You had some powerful medications in your bloodstream. That would not allow you to stand, let alone do as much as you tried. Then just like the perfect movie cliffhanger. You left us wanting more as we anxiously await the next episode. Only by Gods grace and His mercies that we prevail. GLORY!

LMAO at 18:30 mark and the robe & bonnet, you look like my caribbean grandparents whenever I come over way too early. I don't have a high pain tolerance so I am dreading that to highest degree. Could you have more babies if you wanted to after that surgery? LMAO not you thanking us for telling you to put down camera haha. It was a nice surprise to see mom there.
