I had to pause the video to comment after that encouragement. I needed the reminder to keep going. Sometimes as a young woman from a tiny island it can be very overwhelming but I REFUSE TO GIVE UP. My daughter will never know what it is like to take bread and ketchup to school because I won't let it happen. I'm not there yet but by the grace of God I will keep going. Let me tell you something baby you spoke straight to me!
Girl.. you look good.. you will start to see a bit more swelling as time goes. don;t get discouraged.. it happens.. as you know.. and say.. you've had major surgery. I can not stress enough.. even when to you.. you will seem healed..trust and believe.. the eye is deceiving, please be patient w/ the bras.. you will want to stay in the wireless bras for at least 8- 12 months. please put 'something' between your skin, (surgical scars) and any material that may come into contact with the area. We as black people have tendency to develop external scarring fast.. it starts slow, then manifest itself. into keloids. Even though you did not keloid w/ your c-section.. this is very different. Good luck with your fast healing. Congratulations
