yeah your first job is outside contain but an inside move is ok if you know that your gonna get the sack because of you dont and that quarterback gets outside its your fault
Frootball Vids I play Defensive End and your main job as a defensive end is to do the outside contain unless the play is a blitz. If the play is a blitz, you can penetrate inside. But at the same time, to penetrate inside effectively, you need size, weight, and strength.
Once you explode off the d-line don’t stand up! Stay low and explode your hands into the o-lineman’s shoulder pads. Also if your smaller than your o-line R.I.P. don’t swim!
When i played oline and a d tackle or end ever tried a swim move he only would try it once cause when he did it i put my palm, deep into his ribs as hard as possible and he never ever ever used a swim move agian!!!!

I bleed a lot in my tongue but got to my feet like the hit was nothing. An hour and a half later, I received 4 stitches to my tongue.

First tip, Be an absolute BEAST athlete who plays 100% on every play...then you might be 50% of a JJ Watt.
