  • The best way to reduce your exposure to EMF is to avoid using wireless devices. But when you go out in the world, protective clothing can be a lifesaver.

    The BEST meter for radio frequencies is the Safe Technologies Safe and Sound Pro II: safelivingtechnologies.com/ca...
    To test the electric and magnetic fields in your home, I recommend the ME3030B - safelivingtechnologies.com/ca...
    To test the dirty electricity in your home, I suggest using the meter by Greenwave which you can find here: greenwavefilters.com/partners...
    The Safe and Sound Classic is also a good radio frequency meter that is very simple to use and less expensive than the Safe and Sound Pro. It just doesn't give the specific readings in numbers: safelivingtechnologies.com/ca...

    Thank you for all the good work Cathy. As a severely EHS person I can assure you that those things do not help much. The design is faulty. We need long sleeves with elastic band on the wrists and bottom. Also long trousers with tight closing on the ankles. An hermetic head protection is best and gloves and shielded footwear also necessary. I can testify that I can spend hours in very dense urban areas, surrounded by wifi and mobile phones and do not get any EHS symptoms. These kind of clothing only work for non EHS people. Those who have a real problem please contact me

      Yes I agree. IT seems people react differently. For some, this will not do and you need more protection and need the fabric away from the skin

      @@cathycooke I heard that a lot but in the hot Spanish climate I had no choice but to wear the shielding fabric right on my skin and i discovered that nothing happened to me, no sudden death nor any EHS symptoms. Maybe other people should try it if necessary, I wear shielded gloves and they don't bother me so that's how it started. I thought if the gloves right on my skin won't hurt me, then why would wearing other parts of my suit hurt? So now I'm free. I only wear a t-shirt and boxers under my protective suit and I feel fine. I'm not saying everyone must do the same, just feel free to try if the weather is too hot

    Good for concerts, outdoor events, bad for residential houses (e fields) or driving/walking under power lines. I like the fact you don't really have to wash it much cause it's antimicrobial.

    Why wouldn't you put the shield (t-shirt) over the phone instead of the meter?

    Very useful. Thank you. I wonder, if you could, please measure electrical fields inside the t-shirt as well?

      That won't really work b/c your body will impact the readings

    Thanks for this. I have a question. I feel better when I use a cell phone without wifi, just using the cell data (and the wifi button turned off). I feel worse when I use a phone with wifi on airplane mode. Doesn't a phone using wifi on airplane mode tend to have lower radiation than one using the cell data (and with the wifi button turmed off)? That's what I've always heard anyway.

    I have always been skeptical of shielded clothing because of what you mentioned about conductivity and perhaps trapping EMF inside the shielded area. Do you find there is a qualitative difference in how you feel using the cloths?

      I personally don't feel a difference but many people do - either negatively or positively

      Hi there, from what i saw it seems to me that is based in USA.

    "more than half" BUT the company literally says, "Radiation-Proof Apparel - Block 99% of EMF"

    • @cathycooke
      @cathycooke  2 місяці тому

      in a lab setting it will block 'up to' 99%. The real world is different. And to be fair, when it's next to my skin, there is interference with a conductive surface, so what happens in a lab isn't exactly what happens in real life.

    • @JDMumma
      @JDMumma 2 місяці тому

      @@cathycooke 1. The company makes NO such stipulation of 99% only referring to lab test results as you have claimed "in a lab setting it will block 'up to' 99%"
      2. The lab results DO NOT show blocking of 99%
      3. Did you even read and comprehend the tests results???
      4. Those test were taken 5 and 6 years ago
      5. ZERO ongoing independent "real world" testing
      6. Promoting lab results that do not indicate "real world" results is deceptive! e.g. Imagine a tire company saying, "These tires last 3,000,000 miles but we don't publish "real world" results! LOL
      7. Your test in the video is using TWO layers, also NOT "real world"

    after 5-10 washing cycles it will probably be totaly useless. Unfortunately silver fabrics lose their effectiveness prety quickly after a few washing cycles.

      I was thinking this as well, and for the price point, it’s not something that you should buy and see for yourself. No, needs to be proven. However, on the flipside, I do have some jiu-jitsu rash guards that have silver fabrics in them and they’re extremely well-made. Have had them for years.
