One thing I didn't hear mentioned when discussing the Geiger counter is that those clicks you heard before the sample was brought close was mostly from the natural background radiation that you are constantly exposed to every day.
In my area, it's about 19 CPM which is a pretty normal average. You don't start getting into elevated danger territory until you start getting about 100 CPM sustained.

In the brief time his phone was near the disk there may not have been any particles or rays detected. The phone was partially covering the disk which will itself block alpha and beta particles from reaching the disk (gamma would still easily pass through the phone. Finally, it may have been too far from his mic to hear the subtle one or two clicks.

Modern 4g towers can actually control the direction of the beam. These type of antenna used today normally only radiate in one direction. There is almost no electrical field directly under or above an antenna, as this would be wasted energy.

    • @jercos
      @jercos 3 роки тому +17

"One direction" is perhaps exaggeration, a 60-degree sector antenna is pretty standard, with the center somewhat lower than the horizon.
5G technologies rely heavily on beamforming to carry millimeter waves around obstacles, using multiple overlapping antennas to produce directional interference patterns. 4G systems can also use beamforming, but spatial streams can only reduce emitted power by allowing higher selectivity. Beamforming also requires an array of antennas, and as you get closer and closer to the ideal ray aimed at a user's phone, you need more and more area claimed by antennas.

There IS signal from the tower near the base AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO, it has been measured, calcated and demonstrated in Many examples, but, as I posted the bulk of radiation there is from devices that experience poor coverage and as a result radiate more than usual.
So, learn to read, learn to listen and be prepared for the fact that you donk know it all.

First off - science is not a field or a profession. It is a method of evaluating our physical realm, and its scope does not exceed this physical realm and that which can be directly observed. The term "scientist" itself is deceptive, because anyone calling themselves that is akin to a carpenter calling himself a table saw or a construction worker calling himself a dump truck. No, you're not a scientist - nobody is. There are only people who apply the scientific method as part of an attempt to gain a better understanding of some kind of physical phenomena...but the reasons for doing so are varied.
Secondly, nobody with a significant amount of preconceived notions that are largely rooted in degenerate leftard politics can call themselves a "scientist" and expect to be taken seriously. It's well-known that RF, especially in certain frequency ranges, are harmful. The meme of ionizing radiation is just that - another unproven hoax floated along with the 1960s anti-nuclear energy propaganda campaigns. Let us guess - you also believe red meat and sugar is BAAAAAAAD for consumption, because science (even though not an iota of science supports these claims). You've already taken the idiotic position that the EMF emitted by phones and other wireless electronics is safe, and that the plebs just need to be explainerized more betterer. Which there are almost no studies on, especially in the US where there are huge amounts of money preventing such studies being done. Yes, we all know it’s nothing like actual radiation which causes harm within a short period of time, but what we don’t know is the effects of this more minor radiation over 20 years. To simply ignore the potential, with a lack of studies, is ignorant.

If you are in directly in front of them (within a foot or so), you can feel parts of your body warm up. It takes hours of exposure at that distance to it affect you and dissipates within minutes of moving away.

Anyone who has touched an antenna that is transmitting might receive an RF burn instantly depending on the frequency and power in the antenna. But as you said, the power diminishes immediately with even a few feet. I prefer to use my Bluetooth EarPods which is only a few milli-watts next to my head as apposed to around 1 watt from the phone itself, so roughly 1000 times lower. Should check what Bluetooth headset signal strength reading is. I know Bluetooth isn’t 5G millimeter wavelength, but it’s the same wavelength as a microwave oven. • @ShaunVillafana
      @ShaunVillafana 3 роки тому +24

It's actually not that important at all to understand considering the microwaves emitted in a microwave are non-ionizing. The process for them to *become* ionizing has to do with the shield plate within the microwave which is used to filter-reflect the non-ionizing microwaves so they bounce within the chamber of the emitter until they attain the resonance factor required to pass through the filter - which is designed to be the gain of resonance of *ionizing radiation.* Which should be common sense. It's a wave. Just like sound waves, just like liquid waves, there is such thing as resonance factor. This is why when you microwave a grape it doesn't just "cook". It bursts into pure high-heated plasma. Look it up watch a video. This is due to the grape being the same size of the microwave oven's matured wavelength.
This is not just a factor that happens by resonance alone. This can also happen by multiple waves collapsing upon each other of the same resonance frequencies or waves in octaves. Right now I have hundreds of 5G wifi routers around me. I can hear it. It sounds like hundreds of tambourines. These frequencies are in the similar ranges as the military ADS device which cooks skin on people in crowds at 94 GHz. 5G goes up to 300 GHz. Right now they use 2.5 and 5.0 because they're trying to make people get a blind association of thinking 5G "means 5 GHz". They are almost there since people seem to forget, it means 5th generation. Meanwhile everyone seems to not even care to discover the actual numbers and data.

Unfortunately the point of difference was not made between non-ionizing radiation "heating" effect and it's vibration effect on cells and DNA. The real danger of 5G.
Thinking that "heating" is concern of anyone who knows anything about the topic . . .is a red herring.

    • @ShaunVillafana
      @ShaunVillafana 3 роки тому +7

@@2Truth4Liberty Very well put. The major factor is not the heating but the resonance itself given that DNA is piezoelectric crystalline and the cell is spherical which would act same as the grape traping resonant frequency inside, assuming the frequency bandwidth is equal in wavelength to the diameter circumference of the cell membrane. With the DNA at the center of the cell this puts the DNA within the cell nucleus a near-impossible thing to miss.
The frequency only need to be of the resonance factor and no matter the direction "beamwaved" _(*the network company term for the 5G WiFi directional-technology beaming it's WiFi towards the device, and thus, device holder)_ and it would refocus the energy to the center of the cell, directly impacting the cell's DNA, at which point causing it to fracture.
Meanwhile the mainstream media edges their foot-in the doorway of science nuances trying to brainwash the public into thinking that "viruses are alive" and not merely DNA or RNA genetic date.
So we forget the very real factor that our own fractured DNA very well may contain the whole of many of what we call viruses and claim to come inherently from outside of us.
Which begs the question: where did the initial "hull" of the virus come from?
It must have gone through exocytosis somehow.
It would never be able to enter a cell without a membrane encasing it from somewhere and so at some point it had to have originated from within the cells and DNA of some similar being.
I don't think it's far-fetched to conclude it may have originated from within us-each.
Especially since the world health organization put that up as their first "fact check" at the beginning of the lockdown before anyone had even brought up and questioned the possibility. With DNA as piezoelectric, that says it all right there.

My physics teacher was like this. Crazy smart showed us his Perfect SATs. They fired him after two years because they didn’t like his methods even though it worked. Students in his classes across the board had better grades than any other teacher. He was way more hands on and not death by memorization or repetition. We did our own little experiments and made our own hypothesis to start every day and he wouldn’t tell us what was right or wrong until we all spoke (about 6-8 groups) and discussed our findings and what we thought. I learned more from him than my entire High School career.

I'm seeing a lot of ridiculousness when it comes to 5G, or the knowledge of microwaves. To understand _why_ *5G won't hurt you,* you need to look into the following:
*What do we know about light:*
    1. Light can be used to transmit information.
    2. Light creates heat.
    3. Light is perceived by our eyes.
    4. When "concentrated", light can cut and burn things.
*Does this make light dangerous?* No. Most light is safe to use due to the low power level that it designed for. That's also true of the *lower frequency EMF* that we use for communications.

    Some other considerations:
    1. What is the penetration depth of the 5g radiation? Test with a 1cm thick meat piece between phone and the meter.
    2. How electromagnetic waves effect neurotransmission (other than heating), as it's mainly electrochemical?
    3. How 5G compares with 4G? (Relevant to places where 5g is still being implemented)

Dr Jack Kruse, neurosurgeon and EMF effects researcher: ”5G is going to be the biggest assault on the human race ever seen…. It’s amazing to me, every day, how much I learn about what engineers are doing to electromagnetic waves to bring 5G to obedient idiots who want to watch Netflix faster. It just is shocking what they’re doing.”
Dr David Carpenter, ”The movement to higher frequencies involves higher energies and therefore we’re concerned that it’s going to result in greater health hazards to human than our current technology, which already we’re showing is associated with increases in certain kinds of cancer, in certain levels of effects in the nervous system.”
Kevin Mottus, ”5G is going to require a transmitter for every three to ten houses, so we’re talking about a small cell tower placed in front of your home.” (Mottus says that they will emit frequencies between 24 - 90GHz, going much higher than I indicated in my previous emails.)
”We are literally microwave radiating our population and we’re wondering why there’s so much cancer and chronic illness. ..We already know the lower frequencies cause cancer and neurological problems. We expect this to be much worse, much quicker. We are literally experimenting with people’s lives. .. We need to start pushing back and stop allowing them to use us literally like rats in an experiment. … 56 billion dollars to roll out 5G (in the US), zero money to look at the health effects. That should alarm people.”
The industry on 5G: Tom Wheeler, (then) FCC Chair and former senior lobbyist CTIA, ”Unlike some countries, we do not believe that we should spend the next couple of years studying what 5G should be or how it should operate The future has a way of inventing itself. Turning innovators loose is far preferable to expecting committees and regulators to define the future. We won’t wait for standards. … Tens of billions of dollars in economic activity… and that’s damned important.”
Dr Paul Heroux, ”As Tom Wheeler from the FCC says, it’s a lot better to let these innovators loose and fill the surface of the earth six metres and deeper with microprocessors thereby slaughtering the human race out of oblivion than to risk losing a profit.”
Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe, ”The precautionary principle is outdated now, it’s overdue and protection is an emergency.” (Not that even the precautionary principle is being applied)
Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe,’‘Some people are left in disbelief really, and think that this can’t be true. If it was true, then somebody would be telling us. We don’t need to look back very far to see that the public were not warned in a timely fashion before.”
Dr Devra Davis, ‘After all, I reasoned, cell phones must be safe. Some of those complaining about health problems had the intense passion about the matter that one tends to dismiss as not credible. If there were really any serious problems, I reasoned, the governments of the world would not blithely underwrite the global spread of this technology. Having spent the past six years learning what some have known for four decades, I now understand I was mistaken.’
Camilla Rees, ‘’This is about saying ”no” to EMF pollution and to the many forms of corruption that are driving it in media, government, universities, associations and the false front non-profits that have official sounding names of good but are actually fronts for industry. There are many aspects of deception and deflection and actions not aligned with the greater good built into this issue.’’
George Carlo PhD, ”Had there been pre-market testing, mobile phones would never have made it into the market place.”
Joel M Moskowitz PhD,: ‘‘We were sort of caught in a difficult place because some of the claims that were being made about health effects were so severe that had there been premarket testing, cell phones would never have made it into the market place.”

Still until you emit hundreds of watts, it's basically harmless.

    • @russellzauner
      @russellzauner 3 роки тому +32

      this is incorrect.
      5G specifically doesn't share space with 4G.
      It can't.
As close as they've gotten is to get coexistence, but 4 and 5 G can't run simultaneously like bluetooth/Wifi and the whole BT/WiFi coexistence problem was a BITCH to solve because we were stuck in 2.4GHz.
Both of you people are spreading unscientific disinformation.
I don't think you'd understand the actual IEEE standards documents, or I would "prove" it. But anyone who is trying to buy an unlocked 5G phone from Amazon better do their homework on spectrum distribution or you're going to be more disappointed than the 4G rollout (I worked on the first gen 4G tech development and deployments as well as the first 60GHz/mm wave WiGig preliminary technologies that eventually became 5G).
Here's an excerpt from the THOUSANDS of articles on this subject.
What you need to know about 5G frequencies
At its highest speeds, 5G should be able to reach as much as about 2 gigabits per second (Gbps) - two orders of magnitude faster than LTE, which tops out around 35 megabits per second (Mbps).
To get that speed, 5G networks rely on much higher operating frequencies than existing cellular networks, reaching into what is called the millimeter wave band. But because high frequencies have shorter range than lower frequencies, 5G uses a mix of network frequency bands, generally classified as high, medium, and low.
Here is an overview of these frequency bands:
Low-band 5G operates between 600-850 MHz. This is similar to what 4G networks currently use and is only moderately faster than 4G, between 50-250 Mbps offering similar coverage areas for each cell tower. Not all cities and regional operators are deploying low-band 5G towers; some are opting to start with mid-band towers. Even so, it's possible for a 5G device to connect to a low-band 5G network and achieve speeds similar to 4G/LTE.
Mid-band 5G operates in the 2.5-3.7 GHz range and delivers speeds between 100-900 Mbps. While offering less range per cell tower, this type of 5G is going to be the most common implementation of 5G networks for many years to come. It's a reasonable compromise between network speed and range in both medium-density urban areas and less dense rural regions.
High-band 5G is the band that is most commonly associated with 5G. Operating at 25-39 GHz, this is known as "millimeter wave" spectrum and delivers gigabit speeds (currently tested as high as 3 Gbps). The tradeoff is that millimeter wave transmitters have very limited range and require the deployment of many small transmitters, so it's only viable in urban areas where transmitters can be near closely spaced homes and buildings.

5G inside your house actually counts on multipath signal reflections to get its super high speed and penetration around corners/up stairs.
that was the crux of WiGig at 60GHz - worked brilliantly well but at stupid short distances (this is about 2005-2006), once we figured out that we could use all these reflections inside the house as sort of aggregate passive repeaters it was short order to get it throughout the house unless a door was closed upstairs.
Intel was gonna use that to try to scale WiFi technology, but as Metro-Fi so aptly proved, WiFi doesn't scale and THAT'S why it's not on tower base stations. There are still free +7db 2.4 GHz antennas all over Portland Oregon if you want to climb up the streetlights and take them.

The problem is that there are so many studies that clearly show the dangers and effects of EMF and non-ionizing radiaton on human health, but these studies are ignored and the consequence is that there is an increase of tin foilers and misinformation.
The European Parliament released a paper "Effects of 5G wireless communication on human health" last year. You might wanna read what their researchers had to say? And do me a favor read it if you want, but don't tell me that's too much text.
"Non-ionising radiation, which includes radiation from mobile phones and 5G, is perceived as harmless in general, due to its lack of potency. However, some of the above-mentioned scientists point out that, in the particular case of 5G, the issue is not the potency, but the pulse,15
the frequency to which the whole population will be exposed due to the dense network of antennas and the estimated billions of simultaneous connections. As 5G employs a very high level of pulsations, the idea behind 5G is to use higher frequencies, which allows such high levels of pulsation, in order to
carry very large amounts of information per second. Studies show that pulsed EMF are in most cases more biologically active and therefore more dangerous than non-pulsed EMF. Every single wireless communication device communicates at least partially via pulsations, and the smarter the device, the more pulsations. Consequently, even though 5G can be weak in terms of power, its constant abnormal pulse radiation can have an effect. Along with the mode and duration of exposures, characteristics of the 5G signal such as pulsing seem to increase the biologic and health impacts of exposure, including DNA damage, which is considered to be a cause of cancer. DNA damage is also linked to reproductive decline and neurodegenerative diseases.
"A 2016 review of scientific articles, covering experimental data on the oxidative effects of lowintensity radiofrequency radiation in living cells, finds that, among 100 currently available peerreviewed studies (18 in vitro studies, 73 studies in animals, 3 studies in plants and 6 studies in humans), '... dealing with oxidative effects of low-intensity radiofrequency radiation, in general, 93 confirmed that radiofrequency radiation induces oxidative effects in biological systems'. More precisely, in 58 studies of laboratory rats, 54 show positive results, and 4 of 6 studies in humans were positive. In addition, 17 of the 18 of the in vitro studies were positive, including two on human spermatozoa and two on human blood cells. According to the authors, 'The analysis of modern data on biological effects of low-intensity radiofrequency radiation (RFR) leads to a firm conclusion that this physical agent is a powerful oxidative stressor for living cells'.
A 2018 study carried out on animals, showed that electromagnetic radiation emitted by wifi networks can lead to hyperglycaemia, increased oxidative stress and impaired insulin secretion in rat pancreatic islets. A method of creating diabetes (which can lead to kidney deficiency in the long term) in laboratory rats is to expose them, even briefly, to 2.4 GHz."

But long wavelengths are better penetrating than short wavelengths, aren't they? I mean that's the reason why microwaves work and they are operating at the same frequency as 5G, according to the schematic in this video. Of course microwaves use rediculously amounts of power, but still... the radiation should penetrate, shouldn't it?

    • @Patrick-pt2vq

it's not about the penetrating power, it is about ionizing energy. because ultraviolet light have high frequency they have high energy that exceeds the ionization energy of the atoms in the molecules of our dna. microwave in the other hand produces heat. if you put uv light in your left hand and put your right hand in a microwave, you would get a burn in your right hand and mutations in the left

You can always turn off 5g 😉. 4g is not that bad ,it's just that 5g is faster than 4g.

Picked up by several high-profile sites, a new report from RF Exposure Lab claims to shoot down safety reports from the FCC about the iPhone 11 Pro. Its results state Apple's hugely popular smartphone emits more than double the legal limit for RF radiation (3.8 watts per kilogram versus the 1.6W/kg limit.)

5G is same waste of technology as DAB radio. Other than military, no one needs it. 4G is pleanty for speed and reliability.

I remember when 64KB RAM was good enough, I also remember when 1GB was huge storage, O also remember when 2G came out and was blazing fast at 300Kbps. There's no such thing as fast enough as technology is constantly evolving. 3G used to be fast enough back then and 4G is fast enough for now but 5G once it's available in many places will open new experiences for people around the world. Downloading a movie in mere seconds is something good. Because it means teams can also work remotely and not worry about sharing data because they don't have to wait for downloads of large files.
