We don’t give ancient civilisations enough credit. They’ve discovered so much with so little and yet we a quick to write them of as “can’t be explained”, “must be a sign of extraterrestrials”, “a hoax”. When people start discussing this, I always love to bring up Gobleke Tepe. In short, people in Turkey lived in the stone age around 10.000 years ago. Personally, I think the solution is fairly obvious. It's not possible that the people back then could have made it, and even we say they could, why on earth would they? It makes no sense. If you live in a small, nomadic tribe, barely able to survive by hunting and gathering food, you have no writing system to organize anything, no tools other than crude stone tools and so on, why go through all the trouble to make a huge monument like that? For religious purposes, like most people say? Hahahaha, no. My theory is that the people back then couldn't have made it... but it could have been made by people living *before* them. They knew a disaster was coming (great flood?), so they built the monument out of stone to make sure it would stand the test of time. It was their only way to preserve their knowledge to their decendants. They would have had the tools and means to build a monument like that, and writing down all they knew on paper, leather or something like that would be a waste. It would be destroyed soon anyway, even if simply by time. But carving it in stone would make it last forever.

In terms of the Voynich manuscript, they've now come to the conclusion and have been translating it from an old form and dialect of the Turkish language. It's taking them alot of time, but work on it is progressing rather quickly in comparison to previous years. If I remember correctly, I believe they started roughly a year and a half ago and it's a father/son team that was approached by one of the researchers on the primary team that has been given access to the book. The father wrote to the researcher to say that he would be able to translate the entire thing if he'd be able to look through it all and be given access rights. It'll be amazing if they ever get it finished :)
@@ClownWhisper Guys, evolution is in question. Wake up. By design, a scientific theory will generate questions. So, if you ridicule anyone who would question science, you're effectively accepting indoctrination. I am a scientist, by the way.
@@beanlegume9965 Finally some sense has been spoken, so many take scientific theories as gospel. Science for the majority has become a religion they have just replaced belief with theory.
Update: The Voynich manuscript has been identified as a book written in ancient Turkish. A family has managed to translate a few pages, and is finishing the rest of the book.
If i remember correctly, its actually a pseudo-arabic language that was only spoken in a small part of the middle east area. The main page that helped with the translation was a page of an astronomical event that occured at or around the same time the book would have been created. It was an astronomer who figured it out finally.
You have any sources of the actual translations? All I can find are articles about how this turkish father and son claim to have solved 30% of the manuscript, but no actual translations or what it's supposed to say.
My dad said all LIFE began with the milk MAN ! If you come home from a long day of work and you notice that THE fridge is fill with bunch of bottle milk ? BINGO ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Number 10 the swords, yeah, carbonised steel has been found through-out the world dating a couple of thousand years. It is indicated that smiths knew out the method for about the same time and when iron smelting you can't not produce carbonised steel, which was traded for significant amounts... The thing about the industrial revolution being the start of carbonised steel is a myth, a 19th century myth... When they knew carp all about the old world...
For number one it's likely that somebody stepped in the river after the dinosaurs. Besides, how a foot print can survive MILLIONS of years on a river bed seems highly unlikely.
The Voynich manuscript has been found to be stylized Turkish. What threw most people off was the use of pictographs within the stylized letters. I feel the best way to describe it is sort of like the first letter of a fairy tale story, now only for every letter, and combine them in strange ways
Well. "Opening Pandoras box" often reffer to something thats really bad or extremly confusing. It itself has nothing to do with Pandoras box except for using as a way of saying.
The rat thing was explained when it was discovered. Sometimes rats get their tail knoted up. The "bundle" is an extreme example. They were probably fighting/mating.
Piri Reis map is not as mysterious as people claim, there is evidence of ancient Chinese maps and stories about seeing a possible land mass far to the south. Most think it meant Australia, except there is evidence they already knew about Australia are were talking about something else. Same with western European voyages to the new world shortly after Columbus. It is know that some vessels sailed to the tip of South America looking for treasure or other preciousness metals/stones in the new world. Those same voyages claim to have seen another land to the South of the farthest point of South America. But the ships never dared venture any further since it would have taken them too far from coast of South America. The Voynich Manuscript was solved, it a medical text from the middle ages on women health. The strange writing is a form of short hand used by students in central European middle age medical schools. This was discovered when a text known to be from students of this era was realized to look exactly like the Manuscript. When they compared it, they realized it was also from student. Though there is evidence that parts may have been copied from other students notes. Which is why its so confusing at times and took forever to put together. We have discovered large mammals that lived in the time of non-Avian dinosaurs, odds are their paws and our feet could have been similarly shaped. The prints don't show human toes or skin impressions, just the general shape. Since most likely they were the mammals that survived the asteroid and could be some of our ancient mammal ancestors.
I have one thing to say that conflicts with your statement, the tracks aren't mammalian, they were a mix of hoaxes, tricks of the light, and eroded ornithomimid trackways.
New research brings us closer to the source of the swords, to the kiln in which these legendary weapons were forged. A previous theory held that the swords may have their origin in the Middle East or Asia, but surprisingly it seems the materials were sourced closer to where they were found, in Central Europe.
I have a question: if it's still called the THEORY of Evolution, then why do schools and such treat it as a concrete fact and discard all other origin theories?
@Ericka’s Exotics Well having evidence doesn't necessarily make evolution a concrete fact. A theory is a hypothesis that is accepted by many scientists but still isn't a proven fact, and even though all of the experiments that were conducted seem to imply that evolution took place, we have to realize that those outcomes required human involvement - which there was obviously none at the time. Also it's true that an intelligent God is not a lazy one, let's take Jehovah for instance (mainly because He's the one I know most about). The Bible has laws to protect human beings and laws to understand Him right? So a God who creates laws must also create a world under law, such as the laws that say that earth is immense enough to pull us to its center preventing us from floating out into space. And the laws that state that plants must take in sunlight to convert into fuel for themselves and feed the rest of the ecosystem. That's science. When the Bible states that, "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth," (Gen. 1:1) it means that He has created matter out of nothing, stabilized elements in space and created a massive rock where the atmosphere will gradually decrease in order to not crush any beings God might put -- that just might seem a bit too long to put in there. It's our job to figure out how He did it. Not to mention that there's also evidence of Bible occurrences taking place. The Bible states, "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being," (Gen 2:7) scientists have found that many of the elements that are found in the soil are found in us too, such as oxygen and H2O. Or for instance, the romans have account that "Yeshua" was a real man and that "the Hebrews call him a Messiah". However, God is still a theory too, has evidence but not enough to be declared the truth. I accept it because of what I have gone through in my life, other people accept the theory of evolution, all I'm saying is that schools should take into consideration every theory to give students the option to decide. (Sorry for the long reply, easier said than typed).
I'm pretty sure that last photo "do you see a human foot here or not?" is the photo from a site where there were VERY CLEAR human footprints along with the dinosaur prints, but the human ones were defaced. This video only showed a pic from AFTER they were defaced. There ARE PICTURES of the prints beforehand and they are VERY obviously human. Sad that they used the post-vandalization pic rather than the really clear beautiful one.
I think you are confused. There are no fossil records that actually show human footprints next to dinosaurs. Here is a video explaining why you might think there are footprints. ua-cam.com/video/HThKTXrINHc/v-deo.html I doubt you'll believe it though because all scientists are out to prove their own agenda of evolution.
Dragons must be real because most cultures in the world talk of a flying creature with huge wings and talons. Giants are as real as they can get. They are mentioned in many cultures through stories and through time they were thought to be myths. Whenever something is gone for a thousand years 'NOT MILLION YEARS' it does'nt mean it does not exist
Alright lets see if my slightly intoxicated limited understanding of science can explain these 10. Ulfberth swords You are aware that creating steel goes way further back than the industrial age right? People were making steel for about as long as we've had iron weaponry. The name of the metal, its composition, and its creation process was mostly kept secret by the smiths that managed to make it. It gave them a speciality not many others had. It's simple economics applied to history. Just because it took us longer does not mean they couldn't do it. 9. Drepanosaurus Evolution is hella wack. I mean there's prehistoric ratfish that had tooth whorls and giant shrimp-like animals that could crush exoskeletons. It's not hard to believe that an animal developed similar traits to something we see today. the modern anteater appears like Drepanosaurus because convergent evolution happens. Have you SEEN Ichthyosaurs? they're practically lizard dolphins (I mean their name is even FISH LIZARD. It's not that far fetched you know). Drepanosaurus supports evolution and doesn't question it. 8. Rat Kings. "This only happens with one species of rat" okay so it's unique. "but sometimes it happens with squirrels" so it's not unique. Make up your mind! "science can't explain this" yet you begin to name several completely reasonably hypotheses. I don't understand why you think it's inexplicable. 7. Martian Meteorite. So the unexplainable bit is that there were traces of fossilized bacteria in a rock originating on a planet that at one point in history was able to support microbial life? I don't get why this is such a mystery to you. Rocks can take weird shapes in general. You should see some of the rock formations across the world they are WACK. 6. Longyou Grottos. "Solid Siltstone" Siltstone is a soft sedimentary rock. Not that hard to believe someone carved into it if they even did. Water erosion does a lot of work here as well. Geology is super strange. The Giant's Causeway is an excellent example of a natural geological formation with geometric shapes. Until further evidence of human presence is discovered there's no reason to believe humans made it. 5. What was the first dinosaur? This question is by far one of the worst I've seen pertaining to palaeontology. Out of all life that ever lived on earth only a miniscule amount has fossilized. Chances are that the "first" dinosaur didn't even fossilize. In biology and evolution there's hardly a first of any group of animals. This is a chicken-and-egg scenario. This is super easy to explain, even if you might not like the answer you're given. Calling dinosaurs "giant lizards" is insulting to both non-avian and avian dinosaurs. 4. The Nampa Stone Doll. As far as is known right now humans as we know them did not evolve up until about 1.5 million years ago. Geological shifts happen. Mudslides happen. It's not unreasonable to believe that it somehow got encased on a lower rock formation and then brought to where it was dug up. 3. The Piri Reis map. The "official" discovery of Antarctica DOES NOT MATTER. Vikings discovered the Americas hundreds of years before Chris Columbus did yet it was his rediscovery that was marked as the "official" one. Piri Reis simply could've been an incredibly meticulous discoverer that didn't want to misinform those who would be using his charts in the future. It doesn't seem too unlikely to me. Mountains are simply big, how much of an impossibility is it that he managed to chart their locations simply by just closely studying the environment he could see and drawing conclusions from it? As for the chronometer requirement, see number 10. People kept stuff secret all the time to create perceived uniqueness on the market. Who knows when the chronometer was actually first invented. 2. Voynich Manuscript. This one is VERY easy. It's a plagiarised medical text originating in Turkey. It was likely written in a local language. It's not some massive secret. 1. Dinosaur/Human footprints Ah. This old story again. Trey the Explainer has a perfect video for this. THE FOOTPRINTS WEREN'T HUMAN. They were either hoaxes, tricks of the light, or eroded ornithomimid footprints that resembled those of humans just a tiny bit. The Paluxy riverbed is awesome because it contains a great set of tracks that show biodiversity and hunting behaviour of an animal known as Acrocanthosaurus, but unfortunately for you there are no human footprints there. NOT A SINGLE ONE of these things is without explanation. Even a slightly drunk autist with an interest in science can debunk it. Seriously. Go make actual videos please.
When I clicked on this, I saw the titanic sinking never retrieved from the ocean picture and I wanted to come explain why. Back then we didn't have the necessities to pull it out. Also it's so waterlogged and rusted now that if we tried to pull it out like how we normally pull wrecks out, we'd completely decimate the Titanic's remains. Honestly looking at all the other mysteries they're not very "Mysterious" because compared to you being a youtuber, Science knows what you don't and you just claim to undermine it for clickbait.
The Piri Reis map, the most mysterious discovery, I mean, how could anyone during that era reached the accuracy??? If you find anything new information about this please let me know!!! 😊😊😊😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔☀️☀️☀️
I think they did a talk about this map I think . It was shown in a show named ANCIENT ALIEN in HISTORY CHANNEL I don't know if I was rigHt . Because it's been a year I watched that show I HOPE THIS WOULD HELP YOU
You know.... 1000 or more years in future, people will be founding US, our technologies, buildings, villages, animals.... And that will be MIND BLOWING to them
Major error in this narration. The "martian meteorite" did not fall to earth in 1984. It was discovered in Antarctica in 1984. Even though it was unlike any other previously discovered meteorite, scientists claimed it was from Mars, fell to earth an estimated 13 thousand years ago, and even though it was allegedly dislodged from mars in an incinerating cosmic explosion, then survived rock melting temperatures in the earth's atmosphere during the trip, microscopic lithified structures were observed that scientists claimed were fossilized bacteria. Because of the singular uniqueness of the rock, how anyone can make such claims is hard to imagine.
Antarctica wasn't ice free 6 thousand years ago. It has been frozen for several million years as it very slowly moved from near where Australia is, down to the pole.
According to Cremo, the figurine (dubbed the Nampa Image) was recovered by workers who were drilling a water-well in Nampa, Idaho in 1889. The figurine, about an inch and a half long and made of baked clay was reported to have been recovered by the sand pump from a depth of 300+ feet. Cremo’s account of the “artifact’s” discovery is both credulous and inconsistent. Cremo is critical of Michael Brass, who wrote in his book, The Antiquity of Man: Artifactual, Fossil and Gene Records Explored, that it would have been destroyed by the drilling equipment upon retrieval as it was brought up to the surface. Cremo's response to Brass is that a tube was used after drilling through the lava layer to pump out the sand but, previously, he mentions that the figurine was brought up with a “core sample.”
About 5 years ago man heard a mass of squirming crying baby squirrels and their mother. With difficulty he got them out of the hole in the tree. He said they were all stuck together, mostly by their tails, by tree resin. He said they looked like"rat kings". He got something to soften the resin and carefully removed and cleaned one squirrel at a time and saved them.
Theres alot of things in the world that human understanding cant understand. Simple.. We are just highly intellect animals that exist in the world but that doesnt mean we can understand all things in the world.
Or maybe...never mind kids just remember that the discovery of dinosaurs in the late 19th century was mostly between 2 people who who were competing with one another to exhibit the most badass, largest fossil, even though the concept of a giant reptile makes no sense from an evolutionary standpoint...
The Voynich Manuscript was essentially found to be an ancient regional Turkish dialect a few years ago by a father-son team of Middle Eastern (primarily Turkish and Ottoman) scholars and covers a variety of topics including very old (and previously unknown) medicinal herbalism, astrology, and mythology. Time to update the script(s) already..
Ulfberht swords as I will call them, aren’t impossible Drepanosaurus isn’t impossible, just take coelacanth Rat kings are completely explainable, it’s just something that happens Martian meteorite just existed Are you stupid The longyou grottos were just a structure that was built, duh The first dinosaur isn’t an unexplainable scientific animal This video is all clickbait. Simply put, dinosaurs and humans never met and aliens never set foot on the surface, see what I did there, i didn’t say they never came, just that they never stepped foot on earth, anyway, that human footprints alongside dinosaur footprints is actually just dinosaur feet where the entire foot didn’t go as deep as the rest and so it appeared as human footprints even though they were creatures that lived long before humans.
what if aliens are really just humans that lived at the time of the dinosaurs, and became advanced enough to flee the planet when the extinction event happened?
Its a dinosaur with human feet. Thats how we really evolved. Not from monkeys. We started out as tadpoles, then mud puppys, then fish, then crocodiles, then we stood up with human feet on the body of a crock, just like the Eyptian varvings and statues all showed .
What if the reason we don't see burials before the "first human" to be recovered is because their "burial" technique was to return their bodies back to nature by feeding the bodies to wild animals and using the bones and other non edible parts for other uses
In all my years, I have not figured out how science can say that a certain object that is not a part of our earth, such as a meteorite, can be said to come from a certain place; without it being picked up from that location. Case in point, "Martian metiorites".
Number 7, but first if your new here welcome bla bla subscribe???? Nah thanks there’s times and places for you to do that not a quarter the way through.
I think about evolution theory a lot. Imagine a "scientist" finds a fossilized skeleton of a Great Dane and not too far away they find the fossilized skeleton of a Chihuahua dog. Since the scientists don't bring dating equipment with them, they always have to make a guess at an age. So if they find these two fossils, would they say they are one turning into the other or would they recognize them as two separate and contemporary species of dogs? Btw, one is found in a much lower area than the other. Does that influence them?
Actually, the reason The Ulfberht was such a mysterious weapon is because it was made with pure steel. When forging a sword, the molten metal will have darker spots in it, these are impurities in the metal called slag which makes the metal brittle and is primarily responsible for the sword breaking, (as the Vikings martial art consisted mainly of 'stab, block, stab, block'). In order to make a good sword you must extract as much slag as possible. For that, your furnace must reach temperatures over 3,000 degrees which also allows the carbon to be mixed in more evenly. The Ulfberht was completely slag free, which should have been an impossible feat for anyone before the industrial age. The mystery lies in not only that, but who Ulfberht was, and HOW he did it as their fires could not come even close to that temperature.

It'll be amazing if they ever get it finished :)
This video should be renamed "10 examples of how the creators of this video don't understand science".
And did she say all ancient art looks the same? Lol
These people always try to find a way to call evolution into question
@@ClownWhisper Guys, evolution is in question. Wake up. By design, a scientific theory will generate questions. So, if you ridicule anyone who would question science, you're effectively accepting indoctrination. I am a scientist, by the way.
@@beanlegume9965 Finally some sense has been spoken, so many take scientific theories as gospel. Science for the majority has become a religion they have just replaced belief with theory.
The evolution comments almost killed me
Update: The Voynich manuscript has been identified as a book written in ancient Turkish. A family has managed to translate a few pages, and is finishing the rest of the book.
wonderful
If i remember correctly, its actually a pseudo-arabic language that was only spoken in a small part of the middle east area. The main page that helped with the translation was a page of an astronomical event that occured at or around the same time the book would have been created. It was an astronomer who figured it out finally.
You have any sources of the actual translations? All I can find are articles about how this turkish father and son claim to have solved 30% of the manuscript, but no actual translations or what it's supposed to say.
You say 10:57 hebrew but yet show arabic text
Yes

Why specifically muslim? Why does the Arab needed to translate have the be of a specific religion?

Number 10 the swords, yeah, carbonised steel has been found through-out the world dating a couple of thousand years. It is indicated that smiths knew out the method for about the same time and when iron smelting you can't not produce carbonised steel, which was traded for significant amounts... The thing about the industrial revolution being the start of carbonised steel is a myth, a 19th century myth... When they knew carp all about the old world...
would give you a thumbs up, but please clean up that statement as it was hard to follow.
The Paluxy "human" footprints have been debunked over and over and over. Just watching this video made my IQ drop ten points.
For number one it's likely that somebody stepped in the river after the dinosaurs. Besides, how a foot print can survive MILLIONS of years on a river bed seems highly unlikely.
Woah, Woah wait a second Why is your channel named Origins Explained when you don't explain the discoveries to us?
Yeah?

The Voynich manuscript has been found to be stylized Turkish. What threw most people off was the use of pictographs within the stylized letters. I feel the best way to describe it is sort of like the first letter of a fairy tale story, now only for every letter, and combine them in strange ways
Honestly ..?!

I'm not sure what finding the Drepanosaurus has to do with Pandora's box... except the name is an anagram of Pandoresaurus. Coincidence? Probably.
Well. "Opening Pandoras box" often reffer to something thats really bad or extremly confusing.

Narration says “…first pages appear to contain Hebrew text..” but shows an image of the Qur’an, which is in Arabic….
Voyninch central european? I heard it was ancient turkish...
Truly the most unexplained mystery is your sub count
Piri Reis map was my favorite
☺✌
The answer to number 6 is obviously the flinstones.
Hey ur beautiful wanna share Instragram I'd if u wish
So zombies were real too????
5 ads on a 12 minute video? Yikes!
Alright lets see if my slightly intoxicated limited understanding of science can explain these
10. Ulfberth swords
You are aware that creating steel goes way further back than the industrial age right? People were making steel for about as long as we've had iron weaponry. The name of the metal, its composition, and its creation process was mostly kept secret by the smiths that managed to make it. It gave them a speciality not many others had. It's simple economics applied to history. Just because it took us longer does not mean they couldn't do it.
9. Drepanosaurus
Evolution is hella wack.
1. Dinosaur/Human footprints
Ah.
Seriously. Go make actual videos please.
we shoot a cd of britney spears into space why not shoot small bacteria to other habital plantets to survive there
But we can explain the ulfberht sword... It's crucible steel made in a Kiln and then they forge the puck into a sword
Fyi, ALH84001 was discovered in Antarctica 1984, but it had fallen to Earth way before that, about 13000 years ago.

Gay dinosaurs 🦕 confirmed.

This video is all clickbait.
Simply put, dinosaurs and humans never met and aliens never set foot on the surface, see what I did there, i didn’t say they never came, just that they never stepped foot on earth, anyway, that human footprints alongside dinosaur footprints is actually just dinosaur feet where the entire foot didn’t go as deep as the rest and so it appeared as human footprints even though they were creatures that lived long before humans.
as for Drepanosaurus, it's a perfect example of convergent evolution over long periods of time. Animals today simply share traits
Basil Serpent, true.
what if aliens are really just humans that lived at the time of the dinosaurs, and became advanced enough to flee the planet when the extinction event happened?
The title of your channel is "Origins Explained", yet you explain nothing. What gives?
Its a dinosaur with human feet. Thats how we really evolved. Not from monkeys. We started out as tadpoles, then mud puppys, then fish, then crocodiles, then we stood up with human feet on the body of a crock, just like the Eyptian varvings and statues all showed .
#7 isn't true
God made the world
Nobody knows...
What if the reason we don't see burials before the "first human" to be recovered is because their "burial" technique was to return their bodies back to nature by feeding the bodies to wild animals and using the bones and other non edible parts for other uses
That was not a smart phone
Your Valley Girl Voice is so annoying. "Like, totally!"
Just a pet peeve, but if your going talk about something pronounce it correctly. It is the Paluxy (pa LUCK see) river.
