There has not been one single credible explanation on how the Great Pyramids were built,not one,the idea that they built ramps and laid a block every couple of minutes is absolutely absurd.
I believe all the tools used on the Giza pyramids were packed up and moved to another location and the Egyptians copied the pyramid construction as best they could after the master builders left !

Hey, so there is a very good documentary out there. It explains that cement was pour into molds made of wood. Long lines of Africans with pots amd basket's mixed and poored cement into frames. It only makes sense. Go find it. Its like 3 hours long

I can't help but wonder if these experts are angry because von Däniken is questioning their years of education and adherence to the status quo. Or if these experts are right in their evidence and experience and frustrated at the complete disregard for their "expertise". What we know about the past grows and evolves every day. To assume that anyone's stance is absolute and without question is quite ignorant. The experts were coming to very different conclusions when I was a kid. A lot of what was once doctrine is now questioned and that is great. We grow and learn as well. Once dinosaurs were varying shades of green and associated with lizards. Now they are colorful, coated with feathers and related more with birds than other species. Be careful about picking sides. There is an abundance of nuance in everything.

That's what I thought I'm a very highly educated person and yet at the same time I don't claim to know it all being open-minded means that you don't let what you were schooled on dictate that that is doctrines. You are right about people, not liking other theories than the ones, they have defended "for ever". But if aliens could have cut and levitated or whatever huge stones, why not make all the stones huge and 100% perfect.? I belive in them, but not that they have made "anything", that we get to see. It's more likely to me, that they have underground bases, so they don't have to travel far all the time. Some lake in South America I think, is said to have lots of crafts landing in it - but then again - I have read and heard, but only seen anything but a white light at nght, that wasn't a plane - but could have been "a lamp under a balloon", so what do I know..

I read " Morning Of the Magicians" in the late 70s. It was a book that combined myths and legends and shows how they appeared all over the world pointing to the some events in the past.

The Romans moved and lifted stones many times the weight of the heaviest stones in the pyramids with no more technology than available to the Egyptians and no one suggests there is any mystery about how the the Romans did it because they told us how. The only reason people believe the Egyptians couldn't do it is because they don't know any better and someone who also didn't know any better told them that they couldn't
All this ancient alien stuff is so easy to debunk that it's laughable, but I do agree the ancients were a lot more advanced that they are given credit for. I think the sphinx is a lot older than they say, but there is no doubt that the Egyptians build the pyramids. There are records left by those who actually did the construction and tools left behind that they used.

I haven't heard the reference to a high speed drill, and I don't know how they determined it was high speed, but the ancients drilled holes in rock using the same method they did when they wanted to saw rock. They even have the tools that that were used in museums
To saw stone they used a metal blade with no teeth and sand as an abrasive, I saw someone demonstrate the method on granite, using the same materials available to the ancient Egyptians, and was really surprised by how fast it cut.
To drill a hole they used the same method,. They cast a metal tube and twisted it back and forth. When they got to the desired depth, they put a wedge in the cut and broke the core out. They ended up with a smooth round hole and a smooth round core to use for whatever they wanted.
Basically, it's the same way we core stone or concrete for samples today, except we use power tools and the abrasive is fixed to the tool instead of using sand.

Just because the Pyramids are in Egypt, doesn't mean that the Egyptians built them, and I don't believe that they did.

That other civilizations on different contents over different periods in time, with no way of contact built so complex & sophisticated architectures that were all almost identical, this to me along with the technology available at the time & similar monuments now been seen on mars, makes one wonder that their was outside help.

It could be a calendar watch for times to sow and reap, which might indicate it's grain connection. But that, unlike the archeologists who make discussion ending pronouncements, my words on it are nothing more than wild assed guesses.
What it does tell us is that many widely separate cultures were in contact with the same group of "gods". That intercontinental travel, at least for some, was possible in our far distant past. In my opinion.

Main thing that we’re to know is: those critics of the truth went to churches and universities to learn how to tell lies! I am completely open to the idea that we are not alone in the Universe and I am in fact a firm believer in Extra Terrestrial Intelligence, however I advocate a different approach to the UFO and 'Alien' visitation phenomenon.
My argument is based on the problem of distance.
Our good friend, Elon Musk, is so kind to spend billions on a project that promises to take us to Mars one day, so we may colonize the barren planet.
A logic and smart man he is, he plan that phase one of his project is to make the desert planet habitable and suitable to produce food and a fresh water supply.
Then he plan a further phase two in order to establish a life sustainable environment where the first human architects, engineers, scientists and others who are smart enough to help build a place fit enough for the first generation human beings to colonize Mars, could establish themselves first, before full colonization of the desert planet could be made possible, which would be of course the final phase and ultimate goal of his Mars project.
We must admit, the man has ambition!
For argument sake, let us make a hypothesis and say these extra-terrestrial beings comes from our closest star system, Alpha Centauri that is 4.37 light years from Earth, and they can travel with their fantastic vehicles at light speed.
Bare in mind that an infinite amount of energy is needed to accomplish a jouney for just one mile at the speed of light.
These ET's would then travel to Earth at light speed, and cross a distance so immense, it would take them four years and a few months to reach our blue planet.
According to most UFO witnesses, they would then witness an air show from these UFO's that would last a few seconds, maybe minutes, but seldom the phenomenon can be witnessed for hours. Yet, such a show never last for days or weeks on end.
Does it really make sense to spend an infinite amount of energy to travel at light speed for four years and a few months from Alpha Centauri, just to spend a few moments on Earth, before they speed off back home, a journey that will last another four years, while at the same time still have enough energy resources and food left to travel the distance in a vehicle the size of an average car?
Is that what Elon would do? Isn't it more cost effective to travel the shortest route instead?
My point is, why not think of the possibility that extra-terrestrial beings did visit us thousands of years ago and did the same that Elon planned for Mars?
Wouldn't it be more sensible to acknowledge the fact that should these 'aliens' come from another planet in some faraway star system, that such a journey will most likely be a one-way trip, and it would be sensible to bring enough food and camping material with?
Wouldn't it make sense to set-up base where it is safe and hidden from human interference? Something like the ocean, maybe, or the dark side of the moon, perhaps?
Some quantum physicists argue that interstellar travel can be made possible by 'folding space' and quantum physicists demonstrate such theory by drawing two points on opposite sides of a piece of paper, then fold it in half, and theoretically it can be done with space too.
What a crazy bunch! I would love to see how they would invent a device that would be capable of folding our Universe in two, so that instant interstellar travel can be made possible. Maybe God will help them one day.
To go further with my argument, before I finally make my point, is the question on how much we really know about our own planet.
It is a fact that 71% of our planet is covered by ocean, and less than 10% of the Ocean and its floor was explored. Or atleast that is the official story our kids are being told in school.
We already have the technology to turn salt water in drinkable fresh water. We already sent remote operating vehicles down to the Mariana Trench, and we discovered new life forms so alien, we do not understand how it could be possible to exist. Some shrimp like creatures that live in undersea volcanoes comes to mind.
Octopuses have 3 hearts, because two pump blood to the gills, and a larger heart circulates blood to the rest of it's body. Octopuses have 9 brains because, in addition to the central brain, each of it's 8 armes has a mini-brain that allows it to act independently. Octopuses have blue blood, because they have adapted to cold, low oxygen water by using hemocyanin, a copper rich protein. How alien is that?
No one knows how the Giant Squid mates, and never saw one catching it's prey. We don't know how eels reproduce, and no one has any idea why whales would beach themselves from time to time in mass.
Yet, NASA, SpaceX, China and Russia spend Billions on exploring space. We look for life elsewhere outside our solar system and still, we have only explored a mere 10% of our Ocean.
Our eyes are trained on looking for intelligent life forms somewhere else in our skies, while the same intelligent life forms we are looking for, is right here, amongst us and living under our noses.
No punt intended to use the Japanese people in my alien argument, but instead I would like to use the wonderful people of Japan, if they don't mind, as an example of a nation so much more advanced than let's say, Ethiopia, or Equador, or many other third world nations on Earth.
They have Artificially Intelligent Robots already being used in their daily lives, while we here in South Africa see AI only in the movies, just to name one example.
The most advanced technologies that we imagined a few years ago as being science fiction, became everyday household accessories in Japan already!

Alternative to my extra-terrestrial hypotheses, could it be possible that an ancient Earth born civilization became more technologically advanced than any other of our human nations, and evolved to become adapted to sustain themselves under the high presure of the depths of our oceans?

The traditional description of grey aliens is that they have huge eyes, a property we observe in nocturnal animals.

Something I observed over the years while I got caught up in my interests in UFO's and Aliens, is that since the Roswell and Mount Rushmore incidents, everybody jumped on the bandwagon to say that these beings must come from outerspace, because where else would they come from?
Why do they insist these beings come visit us once in awhile from the stars, and not probably from our ocean itself right here from Earth?
Isn't it possible that our governments are already aware of the existence of these underwater and subterranean civilizations, and communicates with them through already established diplomatic channels on a daily basis, but protect that knowledge of their existence as per mutual agreement in turn for an exchange of technological advancement?
The sudden industrial revolution and the accelerating fast pace on how far we came since the 1900's until today, makes me wonder why now all of a sudden, and not in the 1700's?
Isn't it possible that NASA and company deliberately point our eyes elsewhere like a skilled magician, while the true action happen right here under our noses, and we are being tricked by propaganda?

Since the publishing of this documentary, we have found Gobekli Tepe and other similar sites that have pushed the begining of human civilization back twice as far as previously thought. It seems like the goal of this doc is to shore up the "consensus", but you dont need to go to the alien argument to disagree with the narrative on our past.
I find it interesting that these so called professionals quickly debunk ancient alien theories only on their extremely bias POV. I mean they have literally based their assumptions on some of the info provided and have a complete disregard for the rest. I feel it is much easier to debunk Darwin as many of his theories are based on missing proofs and assumptions . It’s like math x + y =25, and not having any variables, you can’t assume what x or y equals to draw out the conclusion that you desire, and when you do this it’s what we call a canard.

If you philosophy this subject you'll drown in an ocean of doubts and never see the obvious answer staring at you in the eyes. There are no aliens, period. We can be certain of it for two reason: 1) If there were aliens we would know about their existence. That's it! It's that simple. In such an "immense", infinite universe the possibility of at least one alien species making contact is 100%. 2) The universe "out there" does not actually exist. Mars, Jupiter, the Sun, the Moon... I’m not a fan of Von Daniken’s work, but a lot of that is because 50-60 years of scholarship has been done since then which even if you believe ancient astronaut theories, has made his work look rather dated, to be polite. I do have respect for the man, however, for spurring on and popularizing alternate theories which has made it more acceptable to dispute the current “mainstream” scholarship which doesn’t adequately explain a huge amount of ancient history, in my opinion. A lot of scholarship that was done by historians or archaeologists is now being examined by engineers and architects, and found to be wanting. It’s somewhat astounding that academics with no background in anything even related to building structures larger than a tower of cards have been the ones telling us all how the greatest structures in history were built, but, again, that’s now being challenged in a more multi-disciplinary fashion.
I do think Zachariah Sitchin is a nut, however.

#1. The book of Enoch was not proven to be a scam. Like all religious books, it simply has not been demonstrated to be true.
#2. You would have to establish intent and demonstrate motivation. Which is not possible considering we have no idea who wrote the book of Enoch.
#3. Claims are not proven to be false. That's not how science or logic works.
We either demonstrate claims to be true, or we fail at demonstrating them to be true.
Even demonstrating a claim to be false requires us to demonstrate the truth of its logical negation.
