Just a heads up, in chapter 2 there's an hidden dungeon/area. It gives you an item that helps with the final boss. That's all I'll say, it's worth exploring a bit more, as you can use it to make the final boss easier if used correctly. (It skips one of the most annoying gimmick of this boss)

In the easy mode, each hard boss in BMW actually can be countered by a key item, but at first you have to find it following NPCs.

You did not. It takes a minimum of 20 hours to do the story, let alone all the side quests and items to collect.
