Looks and Performance Upgrade. If you want to make the stance on your S550 Mustang GT a little more aggressive, these Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs are a good solution. They're also great if you want a balance of performance and comfort. By lowering your pony, handling will improve, because the center of gravity is lowered. These springs have a progressive rate, which is great for when you're driving aggressively. You'll see wheel hop, nosediving, body roll and squat pretty much eliminated. Despite lowering your car, you don't need to worry about your stock or most aftermarket wheel and tires clearing the fenders. They fit on all 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT Coupes and Convertibles.
Quality Construction. You can expect a 1.1-inch drop in the front for a coupe, plus a 1-inch drop in the rear. With a convertible, these springs will lower the ride height 1.2 inches up front and 1.1 inches in the rear. Each spring is made of durable steel.
Direct Installation. This installation job is moderately difficult, so it's not for someone with little experience, but it's not something you necessarily need to hire a mechanic to do, if you have knowledge about suspensions. If you do tackle this yourself, plan on it taking about 4 hours of your time. You'll need a set of sockets, plus a spring compressor. You should get a professional alignment after finishing the job.
