    We use coconut oil and a teaspoon of baking soda for home made toothpaste. We are family of four with two kids, don’t have any cavities and we have used our homemade toothpaste for over five years. We also eat whole foods, very healthy and organic so diet is a huge component to oral health.

    In India part of the world ppl have been chewing on NEEM tree branches for generations with very little decay as a result. Now you can buy Neem toothpaste... Ive been using it for 4 years now (i also make sure i have proper minerals & Natural vitamins also). I had a few teeth that i def didnt want to loose...they were failing...I found alternative Neem tooth paste that stopped the decay cold! 4 years later i still have those teeth & havnt lost any other teeth too, no more bleeding gums also! You wont hear any indoctrinated Dentists venture outside their Big Pharma bubble, They would rather rely on your sugary chemical toothpaste to guide them to their office to extract a TON of $ from your pocket. P.S. Another option is do Coconut Oil Pulling (theres tons of videos about it). I just saved you a LOT of hell... Your welcome

    ACTIVATED CHARCOAL toothpaste should be used to whiten teeth and once desired whiteness is reached switching to another natural toothpaste as the charcoal is very harsh on the enamel. I have heard this but have not done the research. Seems logical however.

    The Brand “Hello” is also an amazing brand to try out . Very very clean only thing that I kinda side eye within it is the Titanium Dioxide(mineral) which Dr. Bonners is the only other brand I see that doesn’t have that . Dr Bonner would be 1# for me just for that reasoning but Hello foams up and everything! I used to use the charcoal one but it soften my enamel very badly had to reverse the sensitivity with coconut oil pulling and brushing with coconut oil as well like a double cleanse before toothpaste.

    How can you do honest reviews on toothpaste if you dont like baking soda...? That's like somebody doing a review on peppermint candies and they dislike peppermint essential oils. And as an aside you're pretty.

      I did until recently. Now I switched to Davids Natural Toothpaste. I like it better and this company is more focused on sustainability as it uses no plastics in their packaging. Their toothpaste tube is recyclable so its better for the environment. I also tried Neems Toothpaste and loved it so I will make a second natural toothpaste video soon where I will provide an in depth review of other toothpastes.

    • @AlexgoesCoconuts
      @AlexgoesCoconuts  3 роки тому +1

      @@thahomiejames4668The effects of taking carrageenan is widely debated. It is still not proven to cause cancer in humans since most of the studies have only been done on animals, but most scientist agree that it can cause cancer and other digestive issues. After a lot of research I decided to go ahead and use toothpaste with carrageenan since I spit out most of it anyway and the problems encountered with carrageenan are caused by ingesting it. You should read up on it and see if you feel comfortable using it. If you don't there are many other natural toothpastes that do not contain carrageenan. Just a heads up, carrageenan can be found in many foods on the market. I would definitely avoid those. Hope that helps.
