I'm cycling down to my local shop so I can get some fresh cans of hate and then spend the rest of the weekend sat in my pants criticising people for making great UA-cam films.
Whaaaat?? I haven't watched GMBN in ages because I don't care for park stuff/dirt jump, or big bike enduros. Love these epic, high mountain adventure races! I'm so glad to see Blake, of all the presenters, challenging himself in spandex.
Can't disagree with it being epic. Another amazing edit. Captured the emotion and effort really nicely. One thing I would like to say is that Rich's presenting of these videos is simply brilliant. And there's no disrespect meant to the rest of the team - the standard has been very high for quite a while now.
Love these videos that don’t involve the team hooning around a bike park. This is the sort of stuff that really makes me want to get out on my bike 👍🏻👍🏻 Great work Blake, Rich, and everyone behind the cameras
Excellent! I enjoyed the whole thing. Watched you guys for years. I immediately liked Blake as a presenter and always have since. But I got a whole new appreciation for Rich. You guys made a great team on this one!
As someone getting older this honestly looks amazing, my days of flying down bike parks for big air are over but this looks amazing. Great accomplishment for you guys
You can really see how great of friends Rich and Blake are. Amazing video. I would love to see a behind the scenes interviews etc with the camera crew and how they approach filming something like this.
I have finished 1 month ago 35 km marathon with 1km climbing. I felt that in my body. Cant even imagine how this Swiss epic looks like. It is brutal... Congratulations guys, you are monsters! 🫡
Great film which made the event look far more enticing that the content from Swiss Epic themselves. It’s really nice to see participation and realistic coverage of these events which are, I think, fun, challenging and achievable. Kudos - that looked tough, well domestically lads. 🎉🎉🎉
Probably one of the best GMBN videos I've had the pleasure of viewing. Congrats to Blake for not giving up 💪 and Rich for being the ultimate team mate. Just riding that bit slower than your pace can be hard. 🏅🏅
So Blake is basically GMBNs version of GCN's Hank, is what I have concluded from watching this. On GCN, Hank is the designated guinea pig for when you need a presenter to do something crazy, despite not necessarily being either the most physically fit or the most skilled for the task... but heck, lets make him do it anyway just to see if we can finally do away with him.
@@gmbnwill look out for that. P. S. hope Blake's feet get better soon, I heard a rumour that he might have got a blister? 😂. (sorry Blake, amazing effort mate, fair play!)
What an amazing adventure. Looks like it pushed you guys to the limit, and it was clear that you supported each other 1000%. I really enjoy these type of adventure videos. Thanks.
20:13 OMG, that riding and that shot! B-E A-UTIFUL! Huge congrats to Blake and Rich! Monster effort right there! Fantastic job to the film and editing crew as well!
Inspirational and fun video guys. You two are at at level so far above average John (me) that it's awesome to be taken along on your epic adventures and to get to experience it vicariously. Kudos! What a great team!
What a great achievement Blake & Rich!! Loved “riding” this epic race with y’all! I’m riding my local trails this weekend (my poor hubby has COVID, so I’m slipping in some ride time close to home.)
I absolutely loved this . Fantastic change of pace from the usual stuff . I was welling up at the end 😂 to top guys and a great team behind the cameras . Well done everyone
Very well done!!! I love these types of videos! It’s really cool to see the guys coaching on their respective disciplines and being receptive to being coached themselves. Rich was a great coach and support to Blake! What an achievement for you both! 🥰🙌🏽
Always so impressed when you are clipping along at speed in places I would feel queasy even walking. Those switchbacks! The ledge on the last day!?! What a ride. Brilliant!
Great video team and well done guys. This brought back some amazing memories of the fun and the pain of when I did it in 2017. You've got me hovering over the entry button for 2025 now! Congrats on getting through this proper epic race, chapeau!
Really enjoyed this one , the boys killed it !!! What an epic struggle up those monster climbs . Makes me want to ride my bike even more . Well done boys !!!!
Fantastic video, well done to both of you. Was happy to hear a fellow Saffa (South African) was there to give you some good advice, Blake's SA accent is on point Love the content and well done again,
Wowzers! My god, well done you two! I felt excited, tired, exhilarated and emotionally exhausted watching this video. What an epic adventure and kudos for doing it and finishing it! Very inspirational 🙌. Loved every min of it ❤️
Absolutely amazing. Such an inspiration. I love the bike park but nothing compares to a real mountain bike ride. Well done guys you did an amazing job!!!
Welcome to my country😊We sure have great (steep) mountains! This video is probably the best advert for this awesome event. Hope that one day, I can ride an event like that🤞🏽Would be interesting to do a video about your bikes’ setups! Congratulations for this EPIC 🤣 performance and awesome video, loved it!
I watched epic Andorra last year and realised how brutal these epic courses are. Well done to the guys for managing this stage race. Cape epic next year?
Man, that actually looks fairly fun as an epic to do with a good friend, maybe one day in the future, amazing scenery/views. good job both of you, especially Blake though being he's not an XC guy, great effort. Maybe next time, ditch the full on XC shoes and run some more Trail oriented shoes for those climbs. Just FYI for Blake, the cold water constricts the blood vessels, forcing them to pump the lactic acid out of your system faster, I do it when I'm finished a ride to help get things flushed quicker and then follow up with a hot/warm to help rush the blood in to help repair and flush - actually do that several times if it was a really hard ride, and/or suffered cramps.
WOW WOW WOW what a gruelling but epic race massive congratulations to you all for completing it 👏 . This type of video is really enjoyable to watch hopefully we will get more and maybe do some of the charity rides we have in Britain although they wouldn't compare to that one.
Great effort from both of you guys! It looked really tough with some fun thrown in also. You guys seemed to be a good team. The views were amazing. I have to give Blake extra kudos for the BRRRAAAAAAPING!!
brilliant guys !!!! Special congrats to blake !!! Carry on like that guys. It gives me ideas to try long run you are doing, but I need to get fit before !!!
I wish you will add to the Dirt Shed show some announcing interesting events like this. The the audience might be interested and an overview of the event.
Good job boys! Excellent TEAM Effort. Beautiful scenery. You guys should feel very lucky to participate in rides like that. Again good job and excellent video!
Rich and Blake, that's an effort and a half! It felt like you both had each other's back and I think, crossing that finishing line together is what events like this are for. It's just pure physical torture but seeing you both sort of bear and go through it together - teamwork :D!
@@Richard_Payne_GMBN I don't really have buddies who I can ride with yet but seeing you both kind of got me emotional for a second :). More power to you fine gents.
🎉excellent work gents, that’s really well done and an awesome edit as well. I had the pleasure of doing the race two years ago, absolutely epic stuff. Would be great if you guys could do an equipment review, what gear you ran on your bikes, tyres, pressures, chainring sizes, droppers- any other tech info you can share for future Newbies😅
Where are you riding this weekend?
Gym, still saving for an XC bike. Loved this, I saw a video on the cape epic (by ef education I think) and hoping I do one soon since then
From Weston s M over to Crook Peak and back.

mtb rally around Beskid Niski in Poland
No riding this weekend unfortunately. What tire pressures did you guys run for the race?
Thanks for the love everyone. Stoked on the whole team on this one, guys behind the lens crushed it and Blake rode like a champ ❤
Since GMBN is independent again the content is so much better
Thanks for noticing 😁 Some cool stuff in the pipeline 👍

Thanks dude team work makes the............😉
This 21:9 format made it epic as well.

Possibly the best film ever from GMBN or GCN. Amazing stuff
Deadpool and Wolverine of GMBN. Rich is brutal, I really believe he's the strongest rider in the whole network.
