Fritz - A bit rich to just blame a bunch of mostly 13/14yo kids with one as young as 11. How educated in the dangers of caves were you at 11 years old? If you blame anyone, it's the coach and he took responsibility for them, apologised profusely and asked for forgiveness from their families. But in addition there are many other people or systems that could be blamed. The local education system, lack of adequate cave safety warnings, lack of cave entrance prevention, etc. It's very simple-minded to just victim-blame so that a complex situation can be more easily understood to fit your world view and feel better about why a bad thing happened. Expand your way of thinking.

Gareth H: Well, you could have worded it with a little more compassion, but you are basically right. All these Christians saying it was a miracle and God loves everybody, then in another context will say all non-believers will never make it to heaven - as it explicitly says in the Bible. Hypocrites are they all.

    The stats:
Contrary to media reports one diver took one boy out which is why it took three days.
Jason Mallinson dived four boys out.
Chris Jewell dived three boys out
Rick Stanton dived three boys out and located the boys with:
John Volanthen who also dived three boys out.
These four men created world diving history which I’m sure will never be surpassed.
I’m a UK diver (not caves) and can say having dived wrecks this was an incredible feat of bravery and organisation and from all concerned.
Unless you’ve dived wrecks or caves you can’t appreciate just how dangerous it is. I can’t even imagine the pressure of diving a sedated child out of a cave🤔
Well done guys. They deserve the George Cross. If the don’t get it I’ll be very angry

Lots of speculation in 2018 when this was filmed about how they stopped the boys from panicking. We now know they were anaesthetized for the entire exfiltration; a single diver was responsible for guiding their unconscious bodies for over 2.5hrs sometimes in strong currents and zero visibility, with additional anesthetic administered as needed. They did not expect all the boys to survive but leaving them there would have guaranteed that outcome. Absolutely amazing accomplishment by all concerned, particularly the divers and doctor.

Just watched the movie, it was incredible. What's lost in the movie is the darkness of the cave diving, need some lights for a movie of course, but you definitely feel the impossibility of the situation. And the strength, and patience, and the leadership of their coach is unimaginable.

in this vdo, i saw the children wiped their tear while spoke to British diver. They must feel god finally blessed them after meditation and praying so many days in the dark cave. Every diver and thai navy seal, especially Saman Gunan, he died a hero and forever in our heart and inspiring everyone to do good deed and have faith in humanity. 🌷

the best of humanity on show.....no barriers of race, religion, language or culture. just one aim and done with pure love and selflessness. none of the rescuers 'tweeting' about what they had done telling the world how great they are like so many celebrities these days. just unassuming true heroes that are shy to be on the world stage but deserve all the admiration and love they receive for what they have done.
what the human race has the capacity to be :-)
thirteen is the new lucky :-) number bye bye number 7

Tim Chen There were others who helped. Boots on the ground. A group of climbers were flown in. In 3 days those climbers found 18 fissures on the outside mountain. It was a team of climbers and divers working as a team
