The kids and coach were strong. The rescuers are superheroes. Deepest condolence to the family of M.Sgt.Saman Rakchan who sacrificed his life for this challenging mission. All of them are spectacular for making the impossible mission possible.

Global Citizen that I can't comment on. Which is why I said "at it's best ". I feel bad for the families ripped apart. But this clip is not about that. This was a rescue, for one community. You can't compare one to another.
Edohiguma I know what seal stands for, and yes Thai has a seal team trained by the US, years back. Wow , you must be a real joy to be around using your insulting word's that, more than likely make you feel tough. Are you that small minded to attack people. Your toxic, and the people around you more than likely gringe when in your presence. I stand by my comment!
I'm in tears. I had been following the story and was very afraid that the world would have to witness a catastrophe. What a miracle, I'm so happy for the boys and their families. May the Navy SEAL who lost his life rest in peace and his sacrifice never be forgotten. ❤️
Fritz - A bit rich to just blame a bunch of mostly 13/14yo kids with one as young as 11. How educated in the dangers of caves were you at 11 years old? If you blame anyone, it's the coach and he took responsibility for them, apologised profusely and asked for forgiveness from their families. But in addition there are many other people or systems that could be blamed. The local education system, lack of adequate cave safety warnings, lack of cave entrance prevention, etc. It's very simple-minded to just victim-blame so that a complex situation can be more easily understood to fit your world view and feel better about why a bad thing happened. Expand your way of thinking.
In 2022, I watched the movie from Netflix last night. I feel so blessed that many ppl from all over the world came to Thailand to save the children. Really appreciated the help and all support. Love from Thailand. 🙏🏻♥️🇹🇭
Just got done watching the film. Wow was this a story that needed to be told to the world thru a film. I had no idea the lengths the rescuers had to go thru to get these souls to safety.
rourkey dorkey: I agree. I was merely highlighting the unpleasantness of fundamentalist Christians who truly believe such nonsense and the hypocrisy of those who believe in the Bible but ignore the unpleasant things it says.
Gareth H: Well, you could have worded it with a little more compassion, but you are basically right. All these Christians saying it was a miracle and God loves everybody, then in another context will say all non-believers will never make it to heaven - as it explicitly says in the Bible. Hypocrites are they all.
What I want to know is why was it Presented in bits and pieces..... those Chilean miners we knew every step of the process. Why the secrets on this? Weird
This story showed the humanity of the human race. These boys became our children. The world cried and God heard and answered our prayers. I wish we could come together like this all the Time. Thank you to the divers, RIP to the diver the world lost. Our 12 boys and coach we love you, speedy recovery my sons. !
Heros all heros. Those pro divers had balls of steel. Far more braver than me. An absolute miracle coupled with the best training and skill on this earth. Congradulations and what strong young boys you all are. This is a miracle that will be talked about far after this century.
People said #13 is a very bad luck number! To me, #13 in this case is bad luck but at the same time it’s very LUCKY for these 13 young kids! They’re lucky to be alive! It’s very dangerous, cold, dark, and a lot of water in the cave. Thanks for all the help from all heroes who helped them👍👍👍
The stats: Contrary to media reports one diver took one boy out which is why it took three days. Jason Mallinson dived four boys out. Chris Jewell dived three boys out Rick Stanton dived three boys out and located the boys with: John Volanthen who also dived three boys out. These four men created world diving history which I’m sure will never be surpassed. I’m a UK diver (not caves) and can say having dived wrecks this was an incredible feat of bravery and organisation and from all concerned. Unless you’ve dived wrecks or caves you can’t appreciate just how dangerous it is. I can’t even imagine the pressure of diving a sedated child out of a cave🤔 Well done guys. They deserve the George Cross. If the don’t get it I’ll be very angry
On day three raining hard, conditions worsening. Five kids remain, four divers. Jason takes out one boy and goes back to get the last boy. Quite the days work.
I'm so deeply touched with this circumstances and rescue efforts. These kids survived the dark cave without food for how many days and they remained calm. Matured individual should be inspired by their calmness plus the agility and determination of the rescuers. Thanks a lot !

Most amazing story in recent time. Experts from usa said it couldn't be done. The world rallied to find the team, and without a blink, the divers made the rescue. Miracle #13Hope
The American 'experts' said it couldn't be done because they aren't experts in cave diving, the British are. Think of something obscure and it's usually the British who lead the way
I think you mean just the reporters from these organisations who covered this story. Most reporters from both left and right 'news' producers haven't got the courage any more to stand up to their chief editors like Jeff Zucker who abuse their enormous, unelected power by setting a skewed, biased narrative and emotionally manipulate people into purchasing their product to make more money.

The work of hundreds of people from all around the world, people of all different nationalities and religions sending their thoughts and prayers, people risking their life for 13 young boys. It all goes to show that humans haven’t lost their humanity. We are still capable of things like this.

Lots of speculation in 2018 when this was filmed about how they stopped the boys from panicking. We now know they were anaesthetized for the entire exfiltration; a single diver was responsible for guiding their unconscious bodies for over 2.5hrs sometimes in strong currents and zero visibility, with additional anesthetic administered as needed. They did not expect all the boys to survive but leaving them there would have guaranteed that outcome. Absolutely amazing accomplishment by all concerned, particularly the divers and doctor.
Just watched the movie, it was incredible. What's lost in the movie is the darkness of the cave diving, need some lights for a movie of course, but you definitely feel the impossibility of the situation. And the strength, and patience, and the leadership of their coach is unimaginable.
