How do you open this laptop up to upgrade the memory?

How is the quality of the material where u rest your palms, Is it it a smooth surface or is it rough ? And have you noticed while using the laptop for easy tasks like browsing the internet, do the fans go really loud or do they stay quiet ?
How many Whr of battery that laptop dell? Is this 45 Whr
according to the spec sheet its a 42 Whr (3 Cell) Prismatic with ExpressCharge

Do you have bumpy keyboard in section "jkl"? In my unit, it is like someone forgot to screw it.
Hi Pawel, I've checked it and there is a lump on the keyboard in the area you mentioned. I haven't taken the keyboard off to see what's the problem but when I firmly press that area of the keyboard it feels as if there's some sort of adhesive being used to secure the keyboard but in this area it hasn't taken. Ill look into the issue next week.
Hello Dan, is it good for online gaming? I play more than 6 hours. I found this it for 18 hours!?
+darrell duncan Hi, It’s not that good for online gaming due to the integrated graphics card... well at least for the latest games (Battlefield One, Destiny 2, etc) it’s not. For gaming you really need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card card. Dell do quite a few machines that work well for gaming such as some of the XPS machines as well as their AlienWare lineup although these are quite a lot more expensive. I have bought a few XPS’s and AlienWare from Dell’s Outlet portal which have been really good value for money. You might wanna go have a look in there.

Hi James, I've had the laptop sitting on my desk for the last few days just testing a few things and its very quiet. I haven't noticed the fans kick in at all. I see what you mean about the screen covering the exhaust vent when open wide although there is still a gap offering plenty of ventilation. I haven't run anything really graphically intensive so maybe the fans do get louder under load but I haven't noticed this at all. I've just had it running a UA-cam video at 1080p for the last hour and I still cannot hear the fans. Hope that helps.
Dan Warman ok thanks I ordered this last week just because of the ventilation I was concerned after I purchased the item, I have a MacBook Pro which has the fan between the screen and actual laptop and it burns up when using for 5-6 hours use which is concerning
I decided to keep the laptop was about to return it once I received it today and get the Dell 5580 but thanks for the reply much appreciated
Is the laptop frame metal (aluminum) or plastic? FYI battery is replaceable. Just remove rear cover

GamingGamer01 yes it is perfect for home use, I played beamng.drive on the smallest map at about 40-50 fps

Even though the laptop is the entry level business machine I'm very happy with how solidly its built compared to other manufacturers machines within the same price range. The only thing I'm not so happy with is the texture and look on the reverse of the screen, it doesn't look good, they could have made it smooth matt black which would have looked and felt more premium quiality.

Where are the speakers?
I think the speakers are underneath the keyboard along the front underside edge as there seems to be some holes in the cover there for some reason and it doesn't look like ventilation.
