My goodness. I never realized how beautiful these original color cartoons were, especially after growing up watching these low quality 16mm VHS/DVD transfers...!! I can't wait to see the full movie in 4K!
It was released just before Christmas last year on this channel.
Beautiful work. I love the "3D" effect of the opening scene!
Very cool. Absolutely crazy the difference. Great work. I am very curious about the title card change. I wonder why they changed it for the dvd release.
The dvd title card is ‘recreation’, the one on the right is the original title card.
A lot of these cartoons passed through different ownership and many of them HAD to remove the Paramount logo from the beginnings (see the Popeye cartoons) and many attached other title cards that were of much lesser quality or were just boiler-plate title cards used on all of that companies acquisitions. Allied Artists was known for cutting off all the Paramount logos and attaching the same introduction to literally thousands of prints.
I Like The Right One, It’s Way Better Than VCI Entertainment Version Crap!
Well yea, it’s the original title 😂
Looks amazing! Can’t wait to see more restoration comparisons
God it's night and day basically. Gorgeous restoration.
The new one looks fantastic! Honestly, the old 16mm print looked better than expected as well.
HOLY HELL! THIS IS GORGEOUS! looks brand new!!! I grew up with thr version on the left. Looks like it was printed on toilet paper in comparison to to this remaster.
Absolutely amazing and beautiful! Great work!
Hope to see all of "Cobweb Hotel" restored next.
Christmas sure arrived early. Nice!
holy wow
I Seriously can't stand how UA-cam falsely claims your other uploaded videos as UA-cam Kids content prohibiting the comments system to show up, is so frustrating and ridiculous. With all the effort you put into these videos, i could not give you the same respect that i give to these half-assed low effort content nowadays for a very good reason.
Can't wait for the next one.
Beautiful!
🥳
Holidays Here.
How in the absolute flip did they manage those 3d effect?!
Model work? Really good Rotoscope?
I remember seeing a documentary that explained how they made little mini models. It’s actually not animation, but real mini sets that they created, then the animation goes in front of the models. Something like that!
I love to look out for it it now that I know how it’s done.
There's a video on this channel called 'Christmas Comes But Once A Year Restoration Behind The Scenes Max Fleischer's Color Classics'. You should watch it.
The painted animation cells were placed on a glass plate in front of a miniature set and shot that way in-camera.
Wow!
Amazing work! The colors are more vibrant and the quality is 👌
Do you have any news on the "Cobweb Hotel" restoration?
Is this a re-upload?
Yea
HOT DIGGITY!!
Uh....wow.
Ofranate.
Why did you reupload this?
Typo
@@FleischerToons where or which part?
@@InfinityFunnies It really doesnt matter that much, at least he gives enough care for these video-restorations in any aspect possible which is actually cool.
@@InfinityFunniesthe "Original" was misspelled
Why are the title cards different?
We didn’t
@@FleischerToons at 0:10 . Right there.
It's definitely a different title card, I was wondering the same myself.
@@stormwulf117 The more accurate question is probably "why was the DVD title card different, and what was its source?"
Just to clarify, the title card on the right is the original title card so we didn’t change it at all. The DVD title card was a recreation the DVD company made so that’s not true to the original source material.
