My favourite bit of your videos is where you‘re explaining current trends. Fascinating. Would love to see a rundown of all the trends in lighting and photography style you‘ve encountered since working as a pro.

Sometimes when I wanna use one light for a product shoot, I’ll just take the product outside and use the sun lucky for me I live in California!

This is awesome content. Thank you so much for sharing it!
I’ve done some tabletop stuff and want to do more with a really limited space and low ceilings. It’s nice to see how much can be achieved with minimal equipment.

Thank you for doing this. You’re a natural teacher with a niche subject. As someone who is trying to build a portfolio (I bought your class, it’s great and kinda hilarious) on tight timelines seeing this flow is in incredibly helpful!

This is very helpful for me as the owner of a furniture business. Im changing my entire photography setup from using my phone with two weak constant lights, too using a proper camera with flashlights.

Really enjoying these in studio - in practice videos you've ben doing recently, Scott.
Unrelated note - are you still waiting on the new tether cables for the Fuji? Or have they already arrived and this is the regular delay you'd be facing?
And if so - does the delay bother you much / something you're used to and just deal with.

I promise I'm not trying to be a troll, but you say this style of lighting is trendy right now and that gradient lighting and other complicated types of lighting are out of style. But I looked up major brands like Coke, Pepsi, Monster, Rolex, and a couple of the top wine brands in the US and they all still have gradient lighting or they just go full CG. How are you judging what is trending? And are the trends regional? In any case, I'd still like to see your take on other techniques.

See it like clothing. There are your staples that are always for sale, some older styled brands for people who kinda get stuck in a era, then the latest trends. Big brands have to sell to a wide population so need all adverts. But most will be pushing priority and budget to latest trends.
