Being a patient of breakage of file , my doctor didn't tell me about this and after 3 to 4 months of rct my tooth started paining , then i had go through from re rct by another doctor but results were not good. Covid has came and also i did not go to the doctor because of fear of implantation or episectomy . Now my tooth is paining mildly. What will be the consequences of this Please do let me know sir 🙏
Exactly ...most of the pt don't understand this infact now they get more concious and they feel psychological pain even though they don't hv pain they always feel some instrument is in my tooth ... Very diificult situation

I did ..and now i am punching bag to patient ... and endodontist asking whooping 11k for retrieval ..i have to pay .. this is my first incidence of breakage in 10 yrs of experience

If it is not giving you any symptoms better to leave it and go for regular follow up examination. File breakage is just a mishap not a crime believe in god
It happen to me 4-5 times... And i completed rct.. and crown given after 2 week.. now more than a 1 yr and 2yr... All of rct are ok...till now.. . I think.. if the canal are not infected... And intrument breakage is tight fitted in canal.. and instrument not move to apical... than Chances of failure are very less... And good coronal seal is must in every case...

Dnt worry ..file koi Jan puchke nahin todta hai...it's very common...in dentistry.....so do one thing.if it's bothering u much u cn get the tooth removed

Pain mean there is infection..Do not fear contact with an endodontist who have microscope..under microscope there is chances of file retrieval..

Do not trigger sleeping giant..let that be as it is..just keep on check..do x ray in every 6 month or 10 month to see i there is any infection
