For quarantine a bunch of artists got together to remake "Everything's Ruined" and it literally took 2 singers to cover the vocal range of Mike Patton.
Side note: I find it fascinating to see each FNM guitarist (John Hudson, Dean Menta, and Jim Martin) put their own unique little touches on Jim's iconic solo in Epic. John absolutely crushed in this show.
I was coming to comment on how many times he effed up. Not the playing so much, but switching parts, hitting the wrong pedals, shit like that. He must’ve been as nervous as he looks
I learned to learn bass playing pretty much from this recording. I had it on VHS from a German satellite TV station back when it first aired I would play along to it constantly. I was 18 and they're *still* this good.
One of the best FNM concerts in their band-history. I mostly love "Easy" in this video. My favorite song ever since. But ONLY played by FNM!!! Mike Patton! This voice!!
No stone left unturned fucking amazing group of musicians exploring explorers unique to say the least you lot deserve all that you receive and then some 🤘cheers 🥃from 🇦🇺
Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this. Amazing stuff. They are monsters: the coolness of the keyboards, those merciless drums, the surgeon-like accuracy on the guitar, that badass bass...and what can I say about Mike...IMHO he was on the summit of his megapowerful vocals, his class, his elegant delivery, potence...wow...just listen to the smoothness of the voice when he sings I started a joke after all that yelling and screaming, that´s vocal resilence, omg...he´s a beast
One of the best goddamn bands ever. They innovated Rock in the 90s and paved a path that so many other bands tried to navigate. Also, they never got the accolades and credit they deserved. 'AOTY' was the album of the decade and still sounds fresh all these years later. \m/\m/
Atari Teenage Riot was a fantastic suggestion by Mike. Unfortunately the reaction of the crowd was less than enthusiastic. Come on, FNM and ATR still play in my car to this day! What's wrong with the world today?! XD
@@thesierrasillustrator5130 ATR were supposed to play at Bizarre on the same day as Faith No More but they got cancelled for whatever reason. Apart from FNM, the best shows on this day were those of the Rollins Band, Marilyn Manson and I must admit - Silverchair. Skunk Anansie was awful.
If I am listening to Faith No More in 2023 I am a legend. Just joking, FNM is bleeping ridiculous. This is my favorite live stuff I’ve seen from them although I like when Mike would go completely off the hinges too
Was watching this with my buddy who is a drummer and noticed during Last Cup of Sorrow, Patton shook Mike Bordin's cymbal and pointed up... my buddy said if anyone ever did that to him, he'd quit lol.
In 1993, especially the last few months of their Angel Dust touring/summer Euro Festivals, Patton would fuck with Jim on-stage quite a bit, knowing that Jim hated him and - by that point - the rest of the band as well. Patton also upped his crazy stage antics around that time as well. Watch their Phoenix Festival 1993 performance, Patton sings like an asshole the whole time, flails about the stage like a madman most of the show, and also throws in several shots at Jim.
@@leq6992 That is my favorite FNM performance (despite the shit slinging at Jim). Patton's manic performance is amazing and he's head and shoulders above any other rock vocalist even when singing "like an asshole".
I remember buying this concert on dvd back in 97 r 98, im pretty sure its some sort of bootleg tho. N the cover looks like somethin I couldve made on my computer, n I'm not good with computers. Lol! I always had to have anything FNM did live tho. What a show this is tho! So powerful, everything was here.
Luck to have seen every FNM tour with Patton singing. I still can't believe how well he sings while flailing about so violently. No just one of the best vocalist of all time but an athlete as well.
The quality of this recording and remaster deserves a DVD release. If there is one then please yell at me so I can go buy it.... Wish they tossed a “Chinese Arithmetic” or “Crab Song” Into this quality of performance”.
99% of singers would never be able to pass the second song with a working voice doing what Mike did here. F******* BEAST! Best frontman of all time.
the third after the 2 first would have be the same ...i agree
hell yeah.amazing vocals and an excellent highly underated band.
For quarantine a bunch of artists got together to remake "Everything's Ruined" and it literally took 2 singers to cover the vocal range of Mike Patton.
He is a god among singers. Seen him 33 times live. 17 with FNM. He can do anything he wants anytime he wants with his voice. He is a vocal genius.
He's 100% RDJr's lost twin
Billy Gould , easily one of the top 10 bassists of the heavy rock scene of all time
Totally agree
He can’t wear a shirt and have the mobility he needs
Mike Patton: "Ok, let's do this one dressed properly."
Mike Bordin: "Fuck it, I'm going shirtless."
I love it. Seems like he never wore a shirt haha.
Love Billy Goulds bass lines.
Yeah dude is a beast
He's one of the best
The perfect band, their best set list, their best live performance. It doesn't get any better than this.
Saludos ¡ tienes que ver a nomore en su visita a Chile en Santiago el 2009....beatiful.
I was there.. 2022 and still unforgettable
@@Dazed1512 Just a man was the most brilliant moment during the concert. Hands down, I've been there.
It could only have been improved by the addition of Falling to pieces. I would love to know why they don't do it live.
NO - their live show on MTV Hanging Out was much better when they still had Jim Martin as their lead guitarist.
Mike Patton, the only musician who can pull off a suit at work
You ever heard of Nick Cave
Troy Van Leeuwen has entered the chat.
Phil Collins too
i agree.it works for him.like no shirt works for the drummer mike bordin.
@@aidanbreen7854 Nick Cave is so good.
That moment between Mike, Billy, and Roddy at the end of "King for a Day", is one of those moments I wish could last in perpetuity.
Side note: I find it fascinating to see each FNM guitarist (John Hudson, Dean Menta, and Jim Martin) put their own unique little touches on Jim's iconic solo in Epic. John absolutely crushed in this show.
Stage presence of a twig though.
@@allenvrabac4827yeah he is just there , jim use to had a big presence even when he was very still in the AD era
I was coming to comment on how many times he effed up. Not the playing so much, but switching parts, hitting the wrong pedals, shit like that. He must’ve been as nervous as he looks
What a powerful drummer.....and band pf course.
Best live version of 'Ashes to Ashes' I've seen...Patton is just on another level...
Quite a blurr, care to give pointer?
What about the TFI Friday version ?
I was there.
I am jealous!!
So was eye but WAYYYYYY back because of that DUMB section they had at the front of the stage (The Festival not FNM)
Me too.. great memories come up! The whole lineup on the 1997 Bizarre Festival was amazing. But this was my Highlight on saturday
So. what was your favorite band?
I was also there..what a great Festival it was (Pavement, Rollins Band, Foto Fighters, Dinosaur Jr...fantastic)
Bordin didn't get the memo about the wedding they were playing afterwards
faith no more sucks
NAH, just kidding, best band in the world
Primus sucks, man haha
And mr bungle
@@tatox666 Whew..thought you were serious there for a minute.....Almost made me pee my pants.

Also my hairline followed pretty much the same trajectory as Jon Hudson's. Total coincidence I'm sure.
Billy Gould is my fucking uncle. I wish, but he could be. 🤣
2024 FNM FOREVER🎉❤
What an artist and also a great singer 😍😍😍
Great singing and enormous amount of energy delivered by the singer.
mike patton is the name. I can not believe you do not know him
I know this is said alot, but its absolutely amazing how he is able to use such a wide range of vocals in songs like midlife crisis.

I love Faith No More.
How much talent does this guy have? OMG
Ladies and Gentlemen, on the drums the legendary Mr. Mike Bordin 👌
There is only one Puffy
Why isn’t Gould ever mentioned in best bass player lists? Check him out in Last Cup of Sorrow.
Flea and Fieldy (KoRn) naming him as their greatest influence is enough, don't you think?
@@perunlowtuned pretty much.
I love you guys
Gould is the best bassist ever
Gold
I saw them in Italy around the same time, touring the Album of the Year. They opened with Midnight Cowboy. What a show....
Stupid effin google algorithm recommended RHCP live show, no true FNM / BUNGLE / Patton fan would ever click that
it s another WORLD ! the singer is an ALIEN the best in rock surely!!!
There’s not many bands who are tighter than Faith No More. If any. But Faith No More has Mike Patton so they will always win.
Mike Patton is the lebron of front men!
Mike Bordin and Billy Gould
15:37 congrats to the camera man
just Epic mate!!!
Such excellent musicians all of them. I love this band!
This setlist is perfect! Patton GOAT.
not underrated band but
such underrated bassist, guitarist, keboardist and drummer.
I think when 4 out of 5 band members are underrated, it makes it an underrated band =)
Facts xd
This band is worth every penny they play, 100 percent return, they die on stage
When I once saw this on TV I was so much in love with this band.
Fernet punker your name is cool😂👌
And yessss! This concert IS great. Mike Patton is a damned GOD
I love Roddy. He's girlleddalg hilarious. "IS IT BRIGHT ENOUGH UP HERE???"
well. yeah. he's funny too.

I've seen them a couple of times but this is the best live performance I've seen of them on UA-cam! !
