Definitely in the next 5 to 6 years it will appreciate. I have a 08 z myself and I barely see any clean examples like yours and mines. The mods I have are majority for the suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. The problem is also like you said,people are cheap. They don't want to spend the money to modify something correctly or do research on it. It's not just a nissan thing, but Infiniti as well (own a well modified 18 q50) and bmw (g80 m3). No matter the platform ppl just are just cheap or have no knowledge. I don't think you can really escape it unless you start talking about high end cars 150k plus category.
The funny thing is, that they already appreciated quite a bit here in Germany. A decent one costs around 15k Euro and most of the time it is the 280 hp version

I swear the 350z WILL hit current S chassis prices in about 5 or so years. It’s hard to find one as it is that’s clean and never been to an intersection takeover unless it’s a Convertible or Automatic (sometimes both) without spending less than 10k.
Historically every Z model becomes a collector car after the 20th year of it’s last generation’s final trim model is produced and sold by the manufacture… this would mean around the year 2029 a stock clean running and UNMODIFIED 350Z is going to be sought after and priced as a classic car
this car is the new old 240sx. this and g35 are solid cars if you want +2. fastback, 2 door coupe, 250+hp, rwd, what more can you ask for? but the rare ones are probably gonna be the HR versions.
This is a great video that sums up the state of the 350z. I've owned 5 Z-cars, including 2 350zs (05, 07). They were very reliable and durable, and super fun to drive. I also had a 370z, which I see as a slightly leaner, meaner 350z. Right now I have a 2024 Z Performance M/T. It's my favorite so far.
I daily drive a z for 3 years now and the body is mostly stock except for a front lip spoiler added to the stock bumper and exhaust is stock. I just like a clean look .i enjoy driving it every day .
Looking to buy one for a fun commuter. I’m hoping to snag one for sub $7k with low miles less than 100kish, say 90k or so. A lot of folks are upgrading to four doors and mini suvs given that they’re older and have families, so I’ll try to get a good steal haha. Wish me luck!
Good video man. I respect the 350Z a lot. I've had a few Nissan's, both Skyline's and Silvia's, and currently own a MK4 Supra NA that I want to build. The 350Z is worth a lot less than my MK4 Supra and stock vs stock they're faster. Hopefully I'll turbo my Supra one day but the bang for your buck with the 350Z is still there, especially here in the UK.
I own a mechanically stock version (other than the brakes) with some tasteful cosmetic mods and I cant go anywhere without people complimenting the car and mine has definitely appreciated in value since I found it in a barn 5 years ago. Ive been offered well over what KBB says its worth and that itself has gone up 50% Id say. im also a mechanic and this is one of the most reliable cars ive ever owned. I daily mine and I love it. I bought it to flip it but I couldnt let it go. The interior is not ideal but there are workarounds. I covered all the painted parts with vinyl ( I also used to tint windows) and it looks great and will hold up
350z 2007-2008 will be worth more and will be a collectors car. Especially the nismos since nowadays they’re even hard to find any HR z that isn’t fucked with and is stock
I got a 04 350z DE. Only added mishimoto parts to keep the engine cool, a starry sky alcantara roof, and some nicer looking rims but the rest is as stock as it can be. I doubt I will ever change the actual exterior other than maybe new headlights
I own a 370 so i'm bias, but the 350 grew on me years ago once my taste started to mature. The 350 will forever be a classic. Personally I don't usually love round cars, but for some reason the 350 and GT3 RS just got me by the neck. I like the 370 more though because of it's front end, minor updates to it's styling and interior. My only regret is taking off the stock shift knob because it honestly felt so good to shift but ill probably get another one. I plan to single turbo it one day. Taking a lot longer than expected. But Im going to keep the outside of the car completely stock.
Pretty much any clean, low mileage, well spec'd, manual transmission 2000s car is guaranteed to appreciate in the coming decade. For the Z, it will be the later hardtops with the HR motor, and of course the Nismo. Other cars in the same boat will be manual BMW E46 330ci, E90 335i, Subaru STI, Golf R32, Audi TT, early 5th gen Camaro SS, G35, Cobalt SS, CTS-V, SN95 Cobra, etc. As long as they have a stick, the nostalgia prices are gonna hit soon and make us all wish we had bought one (or six) today.
I bought one in 2003. She was stunning compared to almost every car of the time. I would get waved and smiles and heads would turn. Then around 2010/11 they started dropping in price and the Rif Raf got a hold of them. People forget how stunning the car was, how awesome it was. Time goes by and all we see now is the junk Z’s everywhere. I still have mine in the garage. I still remember when my Z was prime and I was lucky enough to be a young dude to have such a great car. I have a connection with it and don’t think I’ll ever sell it.

People only deem 350z’s cool when they’re fast. Most of the time they’re looked at as a car for immature people, and the G35 almost hit that same status thanks to people doing donuts at todays meets. If they weren’t so cheap today, then they probably wouldn’t be looked at this way. But in about 10 years when there are far less, they’ll be thought of highly!
i don´t like this plastic 350Z with bored engine, my 1987 nissan bluebird turbo with hybrid turbo Garret T25, intercooler and 205 hp. destroys it in acceleration and interior quality. The only good thing about the 350z is the rigid chasis, perfect base for track, but nothing more.. A lot of people turbo it because it´s a bored car, that´s why they are cheap and no-collector car in my opinion. Nice video dude

WEll in uk its allot of car for 4000 quid. Got mine in 2017 after insurance fucked me over on my dc2. Did all the boltons some And every worth it extra mod i could think off. Did few track sessions. Its leaking oil somewhere for years think oring on filter or oil pan gasket is leaking. All in all i like it could use lighter flywheel and better clutch but thats when i kill stock one. Im at 112000 miles.

As I've commented before, my unmolested '03 Redline Track is nearly identical to yours, but around 53K miles, still low all things considered. It may not garner the same attention of a Porsche, but who cares? Will it go up in price, probably at some point. But: isn't it nice having a car you can drive and enjoy without worrying that every additional mile and every unfortunate chip from road debris is depleting its value? These cars were meant to be enjoyed. Tell that to the Corvette owners that love to brag about their low mileage because they don't drive them (Disclaimer: I like Vette's. Not hating on Vette's or all owners, just the ones who are saving their cars for the next guy).

The fanbase definitely ruined the reputation of these. It certainly made me hate 350s when I was younger. If you ignore the community you can really appreciate this car for what it is. It’s hard to say where the market is going to go. I imagine it’ll look something similar to the S Chassis and the 350 is better in every way imo. I commented before about me picking up a low mileage base 2004. It fell through and I found an even lower mileage ‘08 HR Grand Touring with 16k miles. Picking it up in a week and got a great deal on it. A few years we’ll see.

The average price of a new vehicle is around $47,000, so yeah, I’d say 14-18k isn’t a lot of money in today’s world.
I like that it's not a collector car. I prefer it being a niche car. These people that make those bad mods eventually sell those cars. It's just a fad to most of them. Keep in mind drifters are using the 350z now and wrecking them. That will effect prices in the future.
@@PhilipTamorria i used drive a NISMO#238, at the time there were 3 in Massachusetts, you will see a half a million car, but not a 350z nismo,, you mentioned nostalgia most people like my self used to mod these cars in NFS Forza or Grand turismo, yes the HR is a bit faster but you can tell the difference when the suspension was assembled and welded in Japan, unlike most of the regular z’s

If its clean and has decent mileage it will command a high price. i still think of gran turismo 3 every time i see one, and that nostalgia will absolutely cause the value to rise eventually. i agree tho, the walmart builds are horrendous, see people doing walmart builds on brand new BRZ/GR86 which is one of the best looking cars on the road today, just destroying them.

I like that it's not a collector car. I prefer it being a niche car. These people that make those bad mods eventually sell those cars. It's just a fad to most of them.
Keep in mind drifters are using the 350z now and wrecking them. That will effect prices in the future.

@@PhilipTamorria i used drive a NISMO#238, at the time there were 3 in Massachusetts, you will see a half a million car, but not a 350z nismo,, you mentioned nostalgia most people like my self used to mod these cars in NFS Forza or Grand turismo, yes the HR is a bit faster but you can tell the difference when the suspension was assembled and welded in Japan, unlike most of the regular z’s

the original 350z track is going to be a collectors car, its iconic. If its clean and has decent mileage it will command a high price. i still think of gran turismo 3 every time i see one, and that nostalgia will absolutely cause the value to rise eventually.
i agree tho, the walmart builds are horrendous, see people doing walmart builds on brand new BRZ/GR86 which is one of the best looking cars on the road today, just destroying them.
