Big fan of Gamora. First thoughts are that I basically never hold cards for her if I have a way to play everything in hand, most of her builds are so full of events that you'll find something equally good next turn.
I also really like Gamora's Sword. It gains a lot of value on Expert and the harder villains as those games naturally run longer and have a lot of Toughs. You can also build into it to make it more useful with lots of cheap attacks.
In a way, I feel like Gamora is very unexplored. I feel like the most popular way to build her is to stuff her full of events and, while I largely agree, it's not just a case of giving her the best Aggression and Justice events.
Sometimes I like to run her with a lot of cheap allies, similar to what we talked about with Wolverine with 2x Keen Instincts filling the role of his claws. You can often get 2 cheap events and a cheap ally out on most turns. A lot of decks for her barely have allies, but this completely covers her defense and is much more reliable and versatile than her popular stun-locking builds in my opinion.
I also think Leadership is underrated for her. You can take 6 events split between Justice and Aggression, and then use Leadership's recursion tools to recur Nebula and Kaluu to grab you any event you need. This also lets her run her team-up card very well in solo. I also enjoy taking 3x Toe to Toe and 3x Bait and Switch and running Regroup in solo as well.
Something that isn't ever mentioned much for Gamora is a little card she comes with called Hit and Run. While a basic event and this poorly costed, it's better value than Haymaker level events and, more importantly, is both an attack and thwart card. You can reliably use any of her hero events that want you to attack or thwart first for full value, trigger both her Finesse and Precision abilities in one go, and it's a good use of Keen Instincts in Leadership and Protection. I wouldn't bother with it in Aggression and Justice, but I think it's helpful to remember and pairs well with the dark arts of basic (The Power in All of Us).
As alluded to earlier, you can alternatively run a bunch of cheap attacks in Aggression to get lots of triggers of her sword, then throw in Fluid Motions and CITT to make her a basic ATK monster. You can also run Looking for Trouble in a Justice deck with Interrogation Room - at least in multiplayer where the main scheme has enough threat to justify it.
tl;dr - She had a lot of really fun builds beyond just adding the best events of each category. Though I must say I do love building her that way too, it's very fun and very powerful!
Essay over. Welcome back, hope you had a great vacation! Can't wait for Gambit and Rogue.

Love the insight that you have on this game! I need to give the sword another try.
That does sound like a really cool way to build her out, I am interested in seeing what that could look like! Also really cool take on leadership, that sounds like a cool way to play!
Fluid motion is a card that I need to explore more. The few times I have tried it it didnt really work out too well.
Gambit and Rogue both seem super cool and I look forward to building some decks for each of them!

I think an additional consideration on the sword is if that extra point of damage makes it so single events will be able to clear a minion in the scenario you're playing vs having to attack it twice instead.

Love Gamora in two handed solo/ multiplayer games as she can control the board while heroes like iron man, nebula or sp//dr build up. She really is an MVP and makes other heroes shine.

Great way to put it! She comes out of the gate swinging and is a great pair for those build up heroes!

This was definitely my experience too, though it's not just for build-up heroes like Iron Man. Since my teammates are fans of creating BIG boards that take time to complete, it's so useful to have one character who can effect the board right out of the gate without extensive build-up; that was me quite a few times. Because of that, I really appreciate Gamora for playing that role in a multiplayer setting.

Great video! I love playing as guardian heroes and I just picked up Gamora, so I have to try her out soon!

Any cheap event can be good. I like ‘chase them down’ and ‘turn the tide’. ‘Impede’ is also in a red/green decks I have for her, but I play 2 handed typically.

As usual, love this series! But, 2 things:
    1. You forgot to talk about her wonderful defense event Crosscounter and its synergy with her ability in the villain turn!
    2. Typo in the description, you wrote "Venom" a couple times! (copy/paste)
    Sorry I just wanna help!

Gamora is really good. But for some reason, I never really play her. She never clicked with me the way other heros did.
I should go back a try her again.

Yea, she can feel explosive which can be really fun, but I do feel like she lacks in replayability over most other heroes

How do I build her to defeat Ronan? I have used Drop kicks and Tackles to stun every turn but Ronan activates at least two times per turn and she only has 9 hp.

Nelson!!! I gotta know if this move(s) are clean. I feel it is!
Short video material right here. Haha
During step 2 of the villain phase, I used Gamora’s Crosscounter (ATTACK.DEFENSE.THWART.)
After resolving that card’s interrupt and abilities. I resolved Gamora’s responses for Attack events and Thwart events.
Doing all of these steps I was able to wipe out Tiger Shark.
This card is a triple threat triggering both her responses, right?!
    Clean?
