    This is great but what can or who can a a person from georgia turn to for this invaluable process? Does the NYC area have something similar?

  • @joseph92514
    @joseph92514 5 років тому +24

    This is dope but I imagine it is very expensive. I'm here in NYC in the process of making jeans. There is no place here that has sourcing, manufacturing, and washing at the same place. I have to source my denim alone, found a manufacturer/pattern-maker, and now finding a washhouse.(Only 2 here in the East coast). I have to still look for a place to print things on denim as well as embroidery. I had to source my other materials like hardware from China(custom stuff). Its a big hassle but I think I'll manage. Thanks for the insight on how its goes in LA. Seems so simple and everything at one place there with professionals. I can only imagine the price tag tho.

    if I want to create a super customized cut and sewn garment but still want to fulfill my orders through a print on demand service, instead of holding inventory, how do I go about that process. do I first create the garment from a manufacturer then send it to a print on demand service or how does the process go, is that even possible?

    • @The.Anonymous.Entrepreneur
      @The.Anonymous.Entrepreneur 2 роки тому

      It probably isn’t possible. If you want to I believe you could create the measurements and dimensions and send that to a manufacturer that can produce your custom design when $You$ demand it. Also be careful when choosing a manufacturer. Print on demand usually only is for vinyl designs. I’m not an expert but I tried to help. Good luck 👍🏾

      Hey Fernando, the $197 is for our kickoff meeting which is where we plan out your line with you, establish financial targets, review desired fabrics and fit. Exactly I’m 17 and in the same boat like in order to get paid you have to pay first like if u open a factory for ur clothes shoes etc. u have to find a group of designers to design ur stuff u have to provide them with machines u need to hire graphic designers on top of that pay them and pay for the build...it’s a lot 😭

      @@IndieSource Yes, that's what everyone wants to know. I see the kickoff meeting is only about $200, but what about the rest? Excluding a big manufacturing run. Let say, someone has an idea and wants 10 sample pieces of a garment. $800? $2k? $5k $100k? Lol. Eventually there has to be a market for people just being up front with pricing. And, you can always give a range for each process based on typical designs.
