Hey bro! At the minute 13:10 the color samples that are called Pantone + CMYK uncoated, have you created them or have you downloaded them from somewhere? Thx
You won't need one if you plan on sending this off to a Manu, just as general ise chart of width and length of body and arms, if you really want to go into detail, pocket length, button size, and cuff width.
first you'll need to build the texture, then depending on how large the texture is you'll use a clipping mask on top of the colour and graphic or just simply place it on top and turn down the opacity.
@@DesignedByWil what about if you change up the lining and patching, and where the jacket vent is and stuff like that. Kind of new to the buisness so I’m not sure.
When ordering from alibaba do you know if the cost per unit for a custom logo is for just one custom logo on all garments or for one custom logo on each garment … my manufacturer says its $80 and the price per garment is $18 im thinking each custom garment will be $98
@@DesignedByWil maybe i didnt want to accept the answer they gave me but the cost per unit for a custom logo is $80 for my manufacturer.. does that mean each custom garment will have a $80 logo fee on top of the total cost of each garment or $80 for the specific custom logo for the whole bulk order all together
@@jschoompferd350 If I try to make sense of what your situation is. You’re probably trying to order a single sample which indeed is much higher than ordering bulk. If your order one sample usually closer to retail of the garment due to labour and time, usually known as a set up fee or sample fee. In simple terms the more you order the cheaper it is, the less you order the more expensive it is. Don’t refer to it as a custom logo you’re not paying for the logo you’re paying for the garment it’s harder to understand. is that price fair, for a sample that’s considered super cheap.
I don’t know really , I think I just fell into it. Started in the music industry, didn’t enjoy it and naturally flowed into fashion because of artist merch . But I don’t think this if my final form just another development . Also thanks for the love .
@@DesignedByWil Great video bro!! but the "expand/flatten part for coloring" I don't understand that part either, I want to give every part a color now but I can't, even if I expand/flatten the shape... how did you do that? Do I need to close all the lines? It didn't look like you closed all your paths but still were able to expand the shape in different parts for coloring. (couldn't see in detail how you finished up the jacket though). So would be dope if you could explain that, from finishing up all the hard lines in detail, to expanding/flatten (so it creates indivudual parts for coloring right?) to coloring the process.
All of your videos are amazing, but you’ve answered so many questions I kinda didn’t even know I had, until watching. Plus put me on about a drawing tablet for a cheaper price than an IPad😮💨🥹
Not really, now days you can honestly give a sketch on paper and a Manu can build the garment. Sure a pattern would help in getting the project more accurate but you can most definitely print a custom garment with just a flat and measurements . I literally just did it .
The best trainer for this. I can't wait to show you what I make
You are chill
Love your tutorials bro !
Thanks alot. u have really helped me thru my clothning brand journey💯👏🏾Amazing tutorials.
jar jar binks new balances had me dying bro. Excellent video tho!!
😂
I'm so excited to the point of brownout
Was just looking for something like this!!
Brother, can i use these mockups on gimp or photopea cuz i dont use Illustrator
sure there pngs, just get the $5 pack as you wont get the full experience out of the pro version, would strongly recommend leaning illustrator
Awesome vid
Can you do a in depth vid on this ?
how to product this ?
how do I talk to a manufacturer that already makes tees for me. should I ask if they make custom garments?
Yeah just simply send them a message, most of them say this offer “ custom garments” but they don’t or the minimums are crazy high .

Just in the colour books build in illustrator
@@DesignedByWil Thx man!
Any recommendations for good jacket manus? Very informative video.
Not currently just to expensive to produce
Great video, can you tell me how we can get sewing pattern from technical drawing?
You won't need one if you plan on sending this off to a Manu, just as general ise chart of width and length of body and arms, if you really want to go into detail, pocket length, button size, and cuff width.
How’d you make the curves that start at the wrist and go across the jacket to the other side?
Curve pen tool
@@DesignedByWil thanks man, do you think you’ll make any more videos of you designing? Perhaps a tutorial with you using all the tools?
Bro on photoshop how did you copy the whole pattern into illustrator
How do I change the color of the stitching?
Go to layers , line work , click that layer , and use your swatch panel to change the colour or eye dropper to select the colour of your choice
How do you add material to your mockup in drawing? Like silk, crochet, cotton, etc...
first you'll need to build the texture, then depending on how large the texture is you'll use a clipping mask on top of the colour and graphic or just simply place it on top and turn down the opacity.
where are you studying design from? I want to go there too
how much does a sample custom made garment cost from alibaba usually
It changes a lot depending on manufacture but low end like $230 high end like $2k for clothing

@@dylanheinen4090 you won’t know till you get the quote and if anyone tells you different they are lying , unless it’s for a simple shirt or hoodie
@@DesignedByWil also my budget is around 5,000 which would need to cover the first bulk order (they got a 300 moq)
@@dylanheinen4090 300 moq budget doesn’t really line up to me if it’s a full cut and sew garment
what app do you use to have inspo up on the right?
usually notion, but started just putting the design in ai or photoshop board. easier

hey bro please if you do not mind e asking, what course are you studying at the university?
Just a ba in graphic design, I’m not traditional trained in fashion just happened to work that way .
