I spent a month in Pinedale and the area camping and photographing in 06! Best trip of my life to that point. We tent camped in Upper Green River Lakes , last year we camper in truck camper there. My favorite place to camp. We had cell service there last summer. I know this entire area and have been to all the places you mentioned. This is a great video ! Rendezvous in July is an epic event.
Aaron, that's a good life for a lab -- she was a lucky girl to have that much time to spend with you, and it sounds like you had many wonderful adventures together. Dogs are the best camping and hiking companions, and here's to many more years with your two current pups!
This video was so timely for us Marc! I see it's a year old, but I just found it. our upcoming trip to Yellowstone got all mixed up when a spot opened up for us at fishing bridge. Completely changed our schedule and left us with additional nights to find between Flaming Gorge and Yellowstone. I wanted to come up 191 instead of 89 along the Snake, but didn't see or have any information on where to stay. This looks like a great little spot for the one night we need.
made it to Pinedale today, Camping overnight at the Warren bridge BLM site. We're just passing through on this end of the trip headed to yellowstone. planning on coming back and staying at Fremont lake on our return. Marc, have you done anytime in Virginia City Montana area?
You showed all those wonderful lakes at the beginning and potential places to camp, but work had to mess it up and you stayed at an RV park for cell phone signal. 😉 However, it did look like a pretty nice RV park with lots of room! Interesting museum and history. Those pioneers were something else. That sheep wagon makes one realize how good they have it with their trailer!! Thanks Marc!
Are you following us around? We were in Pinedale and the Wind River area a month ago when the first snow of the season started flying! Nobody around but the moose. Wind River Brewing and the Museum of the Mountain Man were first class experiences! I can’t say enough about this area!!!
We're right behind you, keep an eye on that rear-view mirror. 😎 Thanks so much for watching! It sounds like you enjoyed the Pinedale area as much as we did.
I like your channel because you fearlessly take the backroads. Now if I could just talk you into a 4x4 expedition build where you could really get off the hard park and into the boonies. And with Starlink on the near horizon, you’ll be able to work without a cell signal.
@@rd4660 we are SO ready for Starlink! We signed up for the beta many months ago and we're just waiting for that email to someday arrive. We're optimistic that we'll be able to use it in at least some limited fashion by next season. It will be an absolute game changer for digital nomads. We've thought about an overland rig, of course. Something like a Sportsmobile or (if we ever win the lottery) an Earthroamer. However, from where we sit it's a bundle of money for something of limited utility. If we were still weekenders it would make a ton of sense for the way we like to camp, but as long-timers or more we need just a bit more space to be comfortable.
Been to Pinedale once, and I need to go back. Very nice place. Also I missed the Mountain Man Museum. As for Cell phone service. You need to look into a Cell phone amplifier. and a small external antenna you can put on your trailer. I know lots of ranchers who have had to do that. Stay safe.
Same to you James! Yes, you need to get back to this wonderful area. We actually have a cell booster in the RV, but it only works if it has a signal to amplify. If there's nothin', you've got nothin'.
Always love staying at Fremont Lake CG My dad liked staying here because it made a good jumping off spot for getting into Yellowstone in the morning. I've carried on the tradition. The CG has changed over the years, paved roads improved sites etc.
I liked in Rock Springs in the early 70’s and camped in this area often on weekends. Explored many areas in Wy. Flaming Gorge is also very nice. There is many secluded spots in Wyoming to camp and take in the solitude and star gazing at night.
Thank you for this informative video. We just got back from visiting Pinedale and it was amazing with all the scenery and hiking. Your video was a huge help to us.
Mark thanks again for such a great history lesson. We now will include Pinedale next spring when we visit the kids in Jackson. Also will visit the museum. Nice to see life and beauty south of the Tetons.Enjoy your winter and skiing.
Thank you Wayne! Ironically, hang in their because our winter will be combining RV living with our skiing. And yes, Pinedale would be a terrific stop en route to or from Jackson.
Great episode. Fitting end to a really wonderful heartland tour during 2020 with so many great small towns and places to visit in the future. Thank you Mark!
We love our beautiful state of Wyoming. This heartland tour of 2020 has been amazing, the wife and I have truly enjoyed every episode, thank you for bringing it to us, we can't wait to see what's next.
Really enjoyed the video! We spent a week in Pinedale back in August and was amazed at how much their was to do and see. We stayed 30 minutes north of Pinedale near Bondurant and some great things to see up there as well. I wish you had made this video prior to us going as definitely missed some items (and the moose!) during our visit.
Glad you enjoyed it! My apologies as UA-cam had marked the comment as spam and I didn't notice that until just now, when I released the comment. The Bondurant area is also very, very pretty, and as you note that whole area has a ton to see and do.
Thank you for the beautiful adventure from Boston MA. I'm new to your channel but I will certainly not be a stranger. Thank you for the Grand Adventure.
Thank you Frances! We're former Swampscott residents ourselves, and Marc's sister is still back in Danvers. They both grew up in SE CT. Happy to have you along!
Great video,,,, a g a i n,,,, ;) I always greatly enjoy your content and commitment to share greater detail than just “We were here”, i.e. the detail of the Mountain Men museum. That was awesome! I found it was incredible that Bridger lived to 77 when his generation’s life expectancy was only 42. Thank you, Sir, for sharing with us all.
Just another great video Marc, Pinedale looks like a very interesting place, the campground and views were amazing 👏, the heartland 2020 tour was one of the best, we watched every single one, wish it could keep on going, but we know that you will have more videos to come, we just really enjoy them and look forward every week. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Glad you enjoyed it Stu! We're slightly surprised by the reaction to this episode. We were happy with the way it turned out, but didn't expect so many people to react this favorably to it. We'll have to figure out what ingredients we got right. It's always a mystery -- sometimes we feel that we knock it out of the park, only to have the video absolutely tank when it's released. Other times we look at the finished product and think "meh...", only to have the video be very well received by our audience. It's a crap shoot sometimes.
Really enjoyed the #AmericanHeartland Tour this year, Mark! Lots of notes were taken for stops on our own tour in the future, so thank you for the history lessons and beautiful videography. Safe travels and looking forward to all your upcoming releases! 👍😎
OMG Mark that was great. My wife and I spent four days in Pinedale just last month. We went to Fremont and Green River Lakes as well and even recognized the turn off above the lake where you videoed. We did the same thing 😂 when we were there Ridleys was out of dairy products for three days so there was no butter to be found 🤣 we loved the area and were checking it out as a possible retirement location. Thank you for bringing us back (even though it was only a month or so ago)! If you go to Dubois on this trip, make sure you check out the National Museum of Military Vehicles, it’s brand new. Also, we saw a female moose and her calf in town, laying down on a lawn. My wife is convinced the one you videoed is the same pair. Again what a great video and thanks!
Happy that we brought you back, Frank, although we were likely there around the same time (late September). In all probability that was the same cow and calf. We didn't get to the far side of the Wind Rivers (Dubois) this trip but we've been through there before, and we will again. Appreciate your comment!
I absolutely love this! But you forgot my favorite place to camp. New Fork Lakes is about 40 minutes from Pinedale as you are driving to Green River Lakes. It is also the home to the Boy Scout Camp. Tons of free camping along the lake with 3 camp ground areas to pay. You make Sublette county look stunning in this video.
We didn't forget it, Kayla, but we knew there was no cell service up at New Fork Lakes and never made it up there. But we've heard great things about the place and some day when we've got a few days that we don't need cell service for work, we'll pay New Fork Lakes a visit. Thank you so much for such very kind words!
@@kaylawilliams5301 oh we get that, we totally do! In our case we work from the trailer, which requires us to have connectivity. That has its disadvantages, of course, but it allows us to travel.
Good evening Marc! Another great video!! Though my favorite of that area was your Green River Lake campground video from earlier, it was great to see some of the other opportunities in the greater Pinedale area! My best friend lives over in Worland, Wy. I've already talked to him about possibly meeting in the Pinedale area for some comradery this coming summer (and some ice cream from Farson WY since we'd be in the area).
We are from Virginia and while in the Big Horns meet and became friends with to wonderful people Janet and Mark. We keep in contact with them regularly. This is a beautiful are and plan to visit in two weeks.
I truly love the openness of all those campgrounds , love being able to see for miles with some pretty amazing backdrops. Pinedale and the museum looked really intriguing as well. Great presentation !
Marc, this is my favorite video of the American Heartland Tour! I love the history of how the west was settled. Thank you for bringing me along on your journey. Much appreciated.
Glad you enjoyed it John! In that case we finished out the Tour with a bang. 😁 We've got lots more in store, although after next week's episode our weekly videos will take on a slightly different flavor through the winter months, until we hitch up and roll down the road again this spring.
Another enjoyable video it makes me anxious to get back on the road again. I was just thinking I would like to learn more about what you have learned being on the road and setting up your rig for Boondocking.
How beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing! We are dreaming of the day we can head west to explore! Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your adventures! That mountain man museum is awesome! Safe Travels Friend!
Very impressive video! I really enjoyed your windshield tour of the Pinedale area and like the way you incorporate the history of the region into your narration. I actually got my first introduction to those sheep herder wagons in 1968 outside of Cody when we stopped on the side of the road and briefly got acquainted with the herder who invited us to take a look at his living quarters. This video captures it just like I remember. Also, like the way you incorporate the chapter feature in your editing. Gonna be looking for Guido Bend next summer. All those lakes must be paradise for your lab! Now, are you ready to give us a teaser about your 2021 Grand Adventure😉?
Coming right up, John! We'll do a short bit of Utah camping in next week's episode among some stunning scenery, and at the end we'll lay the foundation for the next few episodes that will explain what's happening with us this winter, and how it will affect the 2021 season. So stay tuned! So happy that you enjoyed this episode and this season, throughout which we've sincerely appreciated your encouragement.
Thanks as always Kent & Katy! Zoe's always happiest when she gets time off leash, something that she enjoyed precious little of this summer. Bonus points if it involves a tennis ball.
We so want to go places with lots of BLM land so we can adventure like you. Florida has very little. Wow those campground spots right by the water was amazing. I love seeing your pup frolicking around. I think I remember that post when a viewer left that sign. $30+ a night looks pretty good for full hookups, large sites, and amazing views. Deer! 🦌 ❤️ moose in the town. I remember that post. So adorable. I’m glad that museum was open. Looks very interesting. Great footage. That’s a lot of guns and fur. So many artifacts in that museum. Wow. The first RV 😂. We loved your Heartland Tour. Take care. Alice
Florida has none, actually -- it's all out west www.blm.gov/sites/blm.gov/files/Administrative%20Boundary%20Map.jpg . And while there's BLM in the areas around Pinedale, all of the land in this video was either National Forest or state land. We loved having both of you along on our #AmericanHeartlandTour2020, and lots of more Grand Adventures to come.
@@GrandAdventure There are a few Water Management lands here in Florida. So finding free in Florida is rare. Thanks for the link. We love seeing what we hope to be doing next year. Alice
We've really enjoyed your Heartland tour, and are a bit sad that it has come to an end. You've managed to find unique, out-of-the-way spots and really highlight their interesting qualities. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Thank you for coming along Bob! For us, the end of the #AmericanHeartlandTour2020 is just the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. In episodes coming up we do a bit more camping locally before diving into some life changes that will lay the foundation for the coming winter and next season's episodes.
Hi, GA. It is a far off land, a wilderness. It is a place where it seems forever is just beyond the horizon. The feeling of loneliness, of being lonely on the plains, yearning for the mountain valley. Far, far away, over there, wondering. Forever yondering. Wyoming.
Loved the video especially since we were in Pinedale in August. We really enjoy the research you do for your videos and the history you share. Looking forward to your upcoming videos on the lessons you learned while traveling in the heartland!
Our pleasure Rich! We're sure that some of the scenes in this video must've looked very familiar to you. We've got lots more in store coming up, and we're thrilled to have you along for the ride.
Good afternoon Marc!! I hope all is going well. The Ice Lake fire is out by Silverton, so we are all happy! Question-- What model is your trailer? Was curious of to the weight of it, specifically to compare it to your access in the backcountry. Have a great afternoon!
That's great news about the fire, Alan! I hate to see any of our beautiful terrain burn. That 2016 Evo T2050 is around 5,400 lb dry, 7,500 lb gross vehicle weight.
@@GrandAdventure Hi Marc...thank you very much for the reply! Yes! It was great to get that fire out, for sure. Unfortunately, western Rocky Mountain National Park did not escape with little damage. My daughter and I were up there last year on the western side. It looked to be 33 or 40% beetle kill; which, of course, contributed to the blaze. In 1 night, it expanded 100000 acres. Ok...thank you for info on your trailer! As we are looking to order a rig after the New Years, I was curious to the size that you've successfully been able to access all of your boondocking locations. Here I was thinking we are limited to the 3000lb dry weight rigs and you're out there is a very nicely equipped one. Safe travels!!
Thank you Slavia! We license nearly all of our soundtrack music from Soundstripe.com. There are two tracks we used for the Museum of the Mountain Man segment. The first was O'Brother by artist Wastelander app.soundstripe.com/songs/11172 and the second was Years Gone By by Brent Wood app.soundstripe.com/songs/9664 .
Great episode, Marc. I loved the steel guitar background music in the museum section. It really added to the sense of history you were portraying. Also, great history review of the area. Also, the covered wagon turned into an RV had to literally have been the first RV ever made. However, I doubt they would have referred to it as a recreational vehicle. More like a traveling lodge. Very neat to see that... even had a wood stove built in. Nice to see that they bypassed the old canvas and rubber roof phase and went directly to a hard formed covering. Way ahead of their time. Leak proof thinking... Did you generate other video adventures along the way that you have stashed away for viewing later this winter? Gord
Thanks as always Gord! That sheep camp isn't terribly different from the sheep camps used across the West today, aside from some roadworthy wheels: sheepwagons.com/ We've got a few more tricks up our sleeve still to come. Next week I'll head out to the Utah desert for a brief episode with my sister from Boston, who's never been RV camping before. After that there are some huge changes that we'll be announcing, changes that will be hinted at towards the end of next week's episode that will clarify why our current camping tour is ending when it is. Even we don't yet know exactly what Grand Adventures those changes will bring, but we've got a pretty good idea of at least some of what's in store for us. As for precisely what that all means, stay tuned. 😉 It will all take shape over the next few episodes.
@@GrandAdventure Thanks for that link, Marc. "Sheep Camp", I missed that description in this week's GA video. It sure smashes to smithereens the novel romantic idea of sleeping on the ground under a blanket. The reality is, the quality of human rest on the trail will eventually effect productivity. Sleep on the ground every night, come rain or shine, and eventually you will lodge at the Ground Inn on Boot Hill. Gord
@@gorrdd those sheep herders are out there for months at a time while the sheep are grazing on summer range. Anything uncomfortable would get old in a hurry.
@@GrandAdventure Absolutely! My point exactly. But there was a day when none of that was available. But then people didn't live so long back then. No wonder shepherds were abhorred by ancient Egyptians. G
Hey I watch a lot of your vids. My question is about your truck camper combo. Do you have any trouble towing that RV with that Toyota and what motor is in it ? How long is your camper and what is its dry weight ? I have a GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 v 8 and a 25ft rv dry weight 5280 lb do you think I will Be ok towing it around the west ? Thank you in advance and safe travels, Sir.
Without knowing your Sierra's towing specs is think you'll be ok, John. The trailer that we had when this video was filmed was of a similar size and weight to yours. Our Tundra has a 5.7L V8 with a 10,000 lb towing capacity and a 1500 lb payload capacity.
We're thrilled to have you along for the ride, Nick! And I don't mind you asking at all. My entire career has been in insurance claims, and I'm presently a liability claims adjuster that handles primarily litigated injury claims all across the country for a small excess and surplus lines insurance company. I'm very fortunate to work for a company that believes in following your personal objectives as long as they can match your professional objectives, and when I joined them back in 2019 after quitting my previous employer and taking a year off to travel, they suggested that I continue traveling and working for them from the road. I feel very privileged to have been given that opportunity. So it's a 9-5 desk job. In this industry paper files disappeared decades ago, and all of my mail, court documents, etc. comes to me as a PDF. All I need is reliable Internet and cell phone to be able to log into the company VPN and get my work done. I even have the company desk phone with me, and I'm able to use it with my mobile Internet connection as the company phone system is a VOIP network.
@@GrandAdventure wow thank you so much for the reply. That is a very awesome place you work for. Oddly enough my family is most likely moving to Pinedale in next few months. I would love to be able to work remotely as well, so I will have to start looking for opportunities like that.
I was laughing when you showed all those gorgeous spots and ended up at an improved campground area. We just spent a week at a KOA. It wasn’t much to look at. It was however clean and the other visitors were extremely pleasant to be around. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Yeah Rabbi, staying in an RV park -- any RV park -- wasn't what we had in mind. But we had our expectations set before we even arrived. I called ahead from South Dakota, and spoke with National Forest rangers and Wyoming wildlife officials. Both told me that I'd be scratching for any cell signal whatsoever at any of those lakes along the western slope of the Wind Rivers, and they were right. When we started working from the road in fall 2019 we realized that we'd have to adjust our expectations. One lesson we took away from our #AmericanHeartlandTour2020, too, is that hookups can have their advantages. That said, we're anxiously awaiting Starlink and have our fingers crossed that it will be up and running by next summer. That will change everything! Any campsite will be in play, including all of the ones that we could only drool at in the Pinedale area.
@@GrandAdventure Sweet. We’ve been fortunate to have cell signal everywhere we ever visited. We only use it for messaging and movie streaming. I say it’s not important to go without net access. But I haven’t had to do so for quite a long time. So likely easier said than done.
@@rabbi7933 if you're just using it to text and stream that's one thing, but we need it for work. That's another thing altogether. I never concerned myself about it until we started working from the RV.
Sure Emory, we actually did an entire short episode on our solar setup early on in the life of Grand Adventure: ua-cam.com/video/LfSxxf28q6M/v-deo.html
Hi, we have a Durango 383 RLQ and wondered if the weather at any of these BLM sites is good during late October, early November? Also, can you stay 14 days at one lake and move to another for 14 more days?
Hello Kaye! That's awfully late in the season for these spots. It could be gorgeous, it could be a foot of snow -- anything is possible that time of year. The boondocking spots featured in this video are either USFS or state land -- I'm not sure what the move requirements are between sites, so I'd give the Pinedale Ranger District a call to inquire.
Sorry the Heartland tour is ending, it’s been an exceptional series for you Marc. As always your photography and music choice makes these episodes so enjoyable. Any hints on next season’s tour?
Thank you Steph! We sincerely appreciate that. I'm lucky if I know what I'm doing tomorrow, much less in spring, so we have yet to sort out next season's plans. What we plan will also depend on the currently uncertain COVID landscape, just as it did this season as our original plan -- until the border closed just before we hit the road -- was to go to Canada. However, we have some huge changes coming up that we'll be sharing with our viewers as they unfold over the next several weeks, changes that are certain to bring some unexpected RV-related adventures throughout the winter months. We're very excited about those changes and we suspect that our viewers will find them intriguing, too. Before all of that, though, we still have some camping to share next week in the desert of central Utah.
We were up there in June and spent a few days boondocking at New Forks Lake. That NF CG is the absolute worst NF cg that we have ever seen. Roads a few inches wider than our truck with ruts 18 inches deep and I'm not exaggerating. So go to one of the excellent cg that you show here. We ended up boondocking outside the NF campground and that was OK. I thought we had a verizon signal there I'll have to check my journal tho.
Good to see this area again. However, the music is too loud and overpowered the narrator. In some episodes, the music is totally inappropriate, i.e. episode of Custer State Park and the Buffalo roundup. This area is sacred to the natives and the music should reflect that. I was unable to leave a comment on that episode. So please consider toning down the music on other episodes; music should be in the background and not tune out the narrator. Thank you.

I think the second name for wyoming is “unfair to every other state state”. You don’t know how beautiful wyoming is until you physically arrive there. It is breathtaking. I think part of it is... well all of it is attributed to the fact that most places in USA simply do not have all that in one place. Sure there are mountains but there are covered in trees and you can’t see much but in Wyoming you get a long run up of valleys and rivers and herds of 4 legged beasts and then flat as a glass lake and you think... wow this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen... and then you look further up... and see giant mountains and you honestly have to pick up your jaw from the floor at that point. I had a privilege of kayaking in Tetons and hike in the area. It is just... I hate it... I hate it I hate it I hate it. Wyoming was so good to us that it spoiled everything else. We constantly say... “yeah but it is not as good as wyoming”, Wyoming is a gift really. I can’t wait to go back.
That's an incredibly accurate description of Wyoming, a description that helps to explain why we love that state so much. However, I think that you bring up an interesting point. Our own observation is that every place around our nation has a unique beauty to explore if you look hard enough, it's just that in some places it's more obvious than others. The rugged northern New England coastline, the bays of the Mid-Atlantic, the palm trees and white sands of Florida, the deep green rolling hills of the Appalachians, the enormity of the Great Lakes, the starkly beautiful Great Plains, the majesty of the Rockies, the sea stacks and volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest, and the sajuaro-studded rocky hills of the Sonoran Desert all hold a special place in our hearts. They're all just incredibly different, that's all.

It's a beautiful campground in a beautiful location, Jerry.
I liked in Rock Springs in the early 70’s and camped in this area often on weekends. Explored many areas in Wy. Flaming Gorge is also very nice. There is many secluded spots in Wyoming to camp and take in the solitude and star gazing at night.
So true BG! Visitors tend to focus on the Jackson area and overlook the entire rest of the state.
Thank you for this informative video. We just got back from visiting Pinedale and it was amazing with all the scenery and hiking. Your video was a huge help to us.
That's terrific to hear Mike, you're most welcome! It's truly one of our favorite areas.
One of our favorite areas to explore! We also stayed at Highline Trail RV park. Brandon and Boo are great hosts!
We completely agree! Thank you for sharing your feedback on the place as well.
Just at Green river lakes segment, WOW!
It's absolutely spectacular there, Thomas. Check out our Episode 108: ua-cam.com/video/zAumhI89nZM/v-deo.html
Original tiny home. Clever.
Great episode. Fitting end to a really wonderful heartland tour during 2020 with so many great small towns and places to visit in the future. Thank you Mark!
Thank you Werner! Comments like yours make it all worthwhile, we sincerely appreciate it.
This is one of my favorite areas to visit. You did an excellent job of showing the beauty of the area. Thanks for a great video!
Thank you so very much! We sincerely appreciate that.
Green River Lake is beautiful too!
Absolutely it is, Molly.
We love Pinedale and Wyoming we visit every chance of get and hope for a fall trip this year.
We hope that you get that opportunity this fall, Roger.
We love our beautiful state of Wyoming. This heartland tour of 2020 has been amazing, the wife and I have truly enjoyed every episode, thank you for bringing it to us, we can't wait to see what's next.
Our pleasure Scott! Glad that you've enjoyed it, and yes you should be very proud of what your state has to offer.
Been to Green River Lakes multiple times. Lots more people now than in 1990.
We don't doubt that at all, Stephen, for that seems to be the case everywhere lately.
Oh we camp over there all the time! We only live ~1.5
hrs away. We have camped at Fremont Lake and New Fork Lake! Lovely area!
No doubt it is.
As always another excellent video Mark. Love the historical narratives and music.
Thank you Brooke! We sincerely appreciate that.
Awesome, thank you Sir! And yes, Bridger was a pretty amazing guy in many ways.
Thanks for sharing your heartland tour!! Awesome
Our pleasure, Johnny. Glad you enjoyed it!
Been to Pinedale a few times. It's a great place. Museum Of the Mountainman is very interesting !!
Indeed it is, David. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed your video. Great channel. ⭐️⭐️
Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼🇦🇱
Greetings to you! Thank you.
Thank you so much Gary! We're thrilled that you enjoyed this summer's tour. And as you indicated, more to come.
Great video! definitely in the top 10 grand adventure episodes. Thanks Marc!
What a life for Zoe!
She's a lucky girl, but we're even luckier fur parents for having her with us.
Thanks a bunch,good info,and well done
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the #AmericanHeartland Tour this year, Mark! Lots of notes were taken for stops on our own tour in the future, so thank you for the history lessons and beautiful videography. Safe travels and looking forward to all your upcoming releases! 👍😎
Glad it was helpful and enjoyable, Bob! We sincerely appreciate your comment, and safe travels to you and yours as well.
The purple tree is still in Daniel. 😂😂😂
I can’t remember who painted it first, but it’s been there for decades.
And it's still very purple 💜.
Zoe enjoyed that tour as much as I did! 😉🇨🇦 love the mountain man museum...and the music!👍
Thank you as always Marian!
Grand Adventure cell service is spotty up there. That’s why it is so appealing to my family and I. We can completely unplug and be in our own world. 💞
@@kaylawilliams5301 oh we get that, we totally do! In our case we work from the trailer, which requires us to have connectivity. That has its disadvantages, of course, but it allows us to travel.
Wow! Jim Bridger's rifle! American history is so awesome! We need more of it! Thanks for all the great information you provide, Marc!
Thank you as always Jesi! It sounds like you were just as smitten with finding Bridger's gun as we were.
Thanks for sharing
You're most welcome Ed, thank you for watching!
Dang, keep a bowl of that frozen for me. Sounds wonderful!
We are from Virginia and while in the Big Horns meet and became friends with to wonderful people Janet and Mark. We keep in contact with them regularly.
This is a beautiful are and plan to visit in two weeks.
very interesting content Mark...thank you!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Ted, thank you!
I truly love the openness of all those campgrounds , love being able to see for miles with some pretty amazing backdrops. Pinedale and the museum looked really intriguing as well. Great presentation !
Thank you UA! Glad you enjoyed it, we appreciate your comment.
Thank you for all your hard work. Don
And thank you for all of your encouragement, Don!
Great season!
Thanks Greg! But we've got weekly content to come, even more travel. This was just the end of the #AmericanHeartlandTour2020.
Another enjoyable video it makes me anxious to get back on the road again. I was just thinking I would like to learn more about what you have learned being on the road and setting up your rig for Boondocking.
That's great to hear, Mark. We may be able to address your question coming up, so stay tuned.
Wyoming...never disappoints...great job,Marc!
No it never does, Curt. Thank you!
How beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing! We are dreaming of the day we can head west to explore! Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your adventures! That mountain man museum is awesome! Safe Travels Friend!
Thank you so much, that means a ton to us because we just love sharing these adventures through video. Safe travels as well to you and yours!
Thank you.
Thank YOU Mathew!
Marc, great job.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so very much, Mark. Glad you liked it!
We look forward to the show each week. You give us ideas as where to go and places to stop and see on our summer travels.
Thank you Craig! So happy that you enjoy it.

We loved the video Marc, beautiful country. Always nice to see Zoe enjoying herself with you.
Thanks as always Kent & Katy! Zoe's always happiest when she gets time off leash, something that she enjoyed precious little of this summer. Bonus points if it involves a tennis ball.
Thanks Marc!
Thank YOU!
Alice
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Richard, you're most welcome.
I like your jacket!!
Wyoming.
That is eloquent, Jon. A piece of prose that beautifully captures the majesty of the Great Plains.
Your videos are so good!
Thank you Chet! That really means a lot to us to hear.
Great video.if border opens will visit next july to look for butterflies.

You won't regret heading there, Richard. Thanks so much, happy that you enjoyed this week's episode!
Enjoyed your video.
Thank you Lee, enjoyed your comment!
Pinedale is a great place.
We couldn't agree more, Don.
Love Wyoming! Great scenery Mark!
So do we! Thank you.
Zoe sure does like the water.
We can't keep her dry.
Could you tell me what music you have used for your Museum of the Mountain Man part?
I love your choice in music!
It’s Wednesday and my favorite Geology Teacher is on.
And our favorite peeps are here! Thanks so much for joining us.
That sheep camp isn't terribly different from the sheep camps used across the West today, aside from some roadworthy wheels: sheepwagons.com/
We've got a few more tricks up our sleeve still to come.

I love the Mountain Man Museum. Nice video Marc.
Thank you as always! We sincerely appreciate that, it means something extra special to us when it comes from a fellow video creator.
Truly enjoyed the entire tour...thanks!!
Thank you! Your encouragement throughout this tour has meant a lot to us, we sincerely appreciate it.
Hey I watch a lot of your vids.
My question is about your truck camper combo.
Do you have any trouble towing that RV with that Toyota and what motor is in it ?
How long is your camper and what is its dry weight ?
I have a GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 v 8 and a 25ft rv dry weight 5280 lb do you think I will
Be ok towing it around the west ?
Thank you in advance and safe travels, Sir.
Without knowing your Sierra's towing specs is think you'll be ok, John. The trailer that we had when this video was filmed was of a similar size and weight to yours. Our Tundra has a 5.7L V8 with a 10,000 lb towing capacity and a 1500 lb payload capacity.
Great job on capturing your 2020 adventure! Thank you!
Thank you for coming along with us, Joyce! We've got some pretty excited developments that we're anxious to share over the next few weeks, too.
Great video! If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of work do you that allows you to do this sort of lifestyle? I’m subscribing now.
@@nickallen2257 wishing you the best with the move, it's a wonderful area.
@@GrandAdventure put your desk on the roof to see if you get a better signal.

Thank you!
Great video. This keeps me dreaming of doing the same thing with my wife.
Hopefully that moment is none too distant for the two of you, Kevin. Keep dreaming, but make your dreams a reality. Thank you so much!
Good feedback on new forks Lake, and it would be interesting to know for our future reference if you had Verizon cell phone there.
I'm guessing no service since I did not make a note about in in my camping journal. I generally note how good the service was.

Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback.

Marc, Zoe probably said to you that she could look like a proper ranch dog if you put a bed toolbox on your truck instead of the cap. Then she can look cool with the locals. Think of what she could see and how queenly she would look! LOL!
I can't that go to her head. 🤣 She's enough of a princess already.
“yeah but it is not as good as wyoming”,
Wyoming is a gift really.
One day when we're allowed across the border I want to visit Wyoming again.
Hopefully that day will come soon. As Mrs. Grand Adventure is Canadian, we're looking forward to when the border reopens...both ways.
