Always exciting to unbox a newly purchased Märklin model - are all the wheels attached, or are some missing? Does the motor and sound work? Is the paint perfect or is there dust and hairs stuck in the paint. Seems you got a good one. But the whole body bounces up and down when the wheels turn. Are the wheels not centered on the axles?

I'm in N scale myself, so it's not for me, but it's a very nice model. Years ago I've had the opportunity to fire the real 991 as a volunteer at the railway museum.

Nice-looking engine. I wonder if there are any plans to do one of these in the original Swedish State Railways version.

I think we can expect to get another model in Swedish livery. They released the French 241 steam engine in three different liveries so far

Very nice loco. She looks kind of American to me, but she is actually from Sweden!

@@MrMasteren the class originated in Sweden, and the Swedish engines were sold to Denmark when they were displaced by electrification in Sweden. More examples (including 991, the subject of this model) were subsequently built in Denmark, with a few improvements to the original Swedish design.
