PERSONAL TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Scan. Everything. Especially the fauna, and all of the data can be uploaded to the Discovery Page for Nanites, and to Helios on the Space Anomaly for even more.
- Focus on mining resources that you are low on.
- (early game) Acquire as many Salvaged Data as possible
- If a planet has Aggressive Sentinels and you have a well-equipped Multi-Tool (preferably a Rifle), take them out to temporarily disable Sentinels first so you can pick up Gravitino Balls and acquire millions. Not only that, but they are huge sources of Nanites, rivalling the Curious Deposit strategy
- If you need Nanites, locate Curious Deposits and harvest them (5 Runaway Mould -> 1 Nanite)
- Gather Localized Earth Minerals. Not only are you going to need them for Hazard Protection Upgrades, but they can also be converted into more advanced Alloy Metals
- Smallest Terrain Manipulator
- Lots of Ion Batteries
- Mine on Irradiated Planets for maximum yield (since 3.0). Especially useful with the Optical Drill
- Use Exocraft for faster navigation
Over 700 hours and I had no idea about pulling oxygen from that hazardous plant.
Boid: IV got close to 3k hours and didn't know that either, thanks coop
What!? I didn’t know about those dangerous flora giving extra oxygen!
Right? I've been playing for YEARS and never knew.
I found out using the flatten tool in the Terrain Manipulator gives you loads of silicate powder, great if you're farming to make glass.
Wow that terrain tip was the goat
How did you get that big bird as a companion!?
I was gifted it by meogi at a meet up its patched in from pc, were growing a few atm to hold a community event when we hit 3k :)
Excellent video I forgot about the poisonous plants
1400 hrs in and I just found out lol
@@NoMansSkyCoop dont worry i was on the same boat till i seen this lol
We need an axe or sword to chop the trees with that same motion
Or a light saber :)
This, so much this
How'd you get that sentinel dog companion?
I am not convinced by tip 5. Have you tested this? Perhaps a rare pet may run faster than you, if you’re lucky. But I would not make it a priority when Movement mods will eventually beat the speed of any creature anywhere.
Striders and some other creatures have moved faster to a marker i set than I could when on starting planet, I agree once you get able to get modules definitly make that your priority but for that first couple of planets till ya have enough money and resources I found this to help me get about and not waste too many ion batteries :)
