Do you have to have the internet and computer to set this up or is it stand alone, closed system?
People that complain are idiots!!!! Thanks to people like you, information is available online for everyday consumers who need straight forward information before purchasing. Thank you for taking the time to put this video together.
Thanks for the comment much appreciated!
it makes me happy that someone like thiss age is doing youtube good job my freind
Just bought this system and installed it at a Pizza Place to replace the really old system they had, it was definitely an upgrade from having old Samsung black and white ones that used phone wire and an old small projection tv screen that was going out that didn't even record. The think that was nice about upgrading with this system is how it uses computer data cables (CAT5e) which is becoming a more and more common cable for security cameras, so when the owner decides to upgrade, they can reuse the data cables and just switch out the box and cameras. It is nice to have one cable that will provide power and the data for the cameras. The box software isn't too bad, it can be a little confusing. You can set recording rules, like when for it to be on or off or all the time, and you can also set alarms if one goes off-line etc. I stumbled across with the app on a smart phone when you have a screen connected via HDMI cable with audio capabilities, you can push a button and talk through it to people by the screen.
Be sure if you buy this system to change the default login password.
Bought these this week from amazon. Great overnight del. System easy to set up apart from email alerts. Bit tricky. Need gmail and also need to allow less secure apps on google. Link on suppliers website. Easy fix one click and bang messages coming into phone. Well pleased. Adjusted cameras at night to get IR in right place. Sorted
Ian Larman thanks for the comment!
Thank you!! JUST bought these.. :-)
What is the consumption of 1 HDD?
Do you have experience operating at -25 degrees?
you single hand use is amazing. I would have thrown down the video camera well before 2 minutes.
Thanks for the comment much appreciated. Its been challenging filming like them, but i finally did upgrade and buy a tripod last year. Hope you can support the channel and subscribe!
Will this give better image quality than a AHD 1080p 2mp camera running on coaxal cable ?
I''m glad that you figured out how to secure the HDD to the base. you can tell you never built a computer before, because you had a hard time. Next time just use the mounting screw holes that are in the bottom of the HDD with any of the holes that are in the box. great video, keep up the good work bud.
bjizzle412 thanks for the comment much appreciated. Yes true, but the reason I was confused about mounting the hard disk was that I read some reviews on Amazon about this before buying and some of the reviews said there was no way of attaching the drive to the case and some people actually stuck it down with tape. So I assume that was the case in this situation. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
then those people didnt know what they was doing! haha are you still using this system today and how is it working out for you? im about to order my system this weekend. how hard was it to run all your wires and did you end up cutting them and put them back together like you said?
bjizzle412 yes I am still running the system all is good. It was easy to run the cables and yes I cut the connectors and crimped a new connector i didn't want to drill a massive hole.
Hi I just watched your video which is great. I have bought an Annke system to install in my garage but unfortunately I don’t have internet out there (20m away). How do I set it up not connected to the internet?
just bought this, in 2 weeks I will try to follow your instructions. Thank you for this video!
gratzy1989 any luck with your setup, mine is showing nothing on the tv screen, just “Mode Not Supported”.
Starting to wonder if My is even an original system.
Trevor Cole I will try it on 25 th december, I am away with work for now. I will tell you then
And if I dont have a monitor and VGA cable? I only add 1TB disk into DVR and it will be automaticly record? Thanks you very much!
If you look on the top silver side of the hdd there's holes which will line up with the holes on the bottom of the chassis to screw it down. The holes on the bottom of the chassis are for 3.5 inch drives the wider spread holes and 2.5 inch drives the smaller spread holes
So, I installed the hard drive and connected the cameras, but it started showing an image on all 4 cameras, I did not had anny message to install stuff...
Hello, thank you for your time and uploading this video. I recently brought the annke PoE system, I connect everything however when I plug the HDMI cable to my laptop, nothing shows up.
Do I need a software in order to monitor thru computer or I'm doing something wrong? Please let me know, thank you
+Adam Fu you can't do that because the HDMI connector on your laptop is just for output not for input. You can connect from you laptop but you would connect via a web browser to the IP address of the DVR. I have another video that shows all the different connectivity options let me know if you want to see that or you can find via my channel.
Network cable goes to your modem then HDMI to your monitor/tv
You can connect it just go to settings on laptop and then connections and devices and hdmi port make it on in port not on out port if dont have that order a male usb cable and a adapter from male usb to old monitors computers and connect that one to the dvr and the other end of usb to laptop at soon you connected pop out on screen
Does your internet router and monitor have to be in HD to make use of the HD cameras? or will they work on a SD system?
GREAT VIDEO!!!! I also have to say, un-boxing the complete product with only one hand was really impressive...LOL... Thank you so much for the informative video!!!!
Thanks for the comment much appreciated. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
Hi love UA-cam link on this product , its a shame about all the blasted adverts that come in but it
To you have to keep on checking on hard drive & delete ,how much dies it store,Thank you for your help
Leah Cara no you can set it up to automatically remove old files.
Okay Nyc work but I will not showered 😣 in ip camera configuration Plz Expelan
Can any hardive be used on this camera system have a old one from my old computer
I am a real need of an 8ch system. do you guys recommend the SANNCE system? most important for me is the remote access via cellphone. Is it easy to be done with this system?
Shaun V yes definitely a good budget system. The remote access app is good but l have to admit it's does sometimes has connectivity issues but maybe that's due to my broadband or the 4g connection on my phone. But again a good system.
do you have to use the internet all the time or can you use it without the internet once its set up
good video - thank you - just bought the system and all working ok. But all my cameras are numbered Camera 01 on the 4 screen view. I notice you have the same thing. I was expecting 01/02/03/04. Any thoughts?
+patmsweeney thanks for the comment. You can rename the cameras I did it a while ago. Look though the settings if you can't find it let me know. I find you the info.
i like boxes
For everyone watching this and is thinking what harddrive to buy, buy a WD Purple drive in the size you need. They're made for surveilliance footage and can take data being written to it 24/7-365.
Hi. How many terabytes would you prefer for a hard disk drive?
I'm using 2TB and that's been fine for me so far.
@@GeekStreet Thanks. How often do you delete the data to free up space?
It automatically deleted the oldest data, I'm getting around 2-3 month's worth of footage.
@@GeekStreet That's nice. I will be getting a 2TB WD Purple then.
Cheers.....will give it a go.
vido
Those are not jumpers at the back but an RS485 port for controlling the Pan-Tilt-Zoom functions of suitable cameras
Hi mate,
excellent video. How much was the system, looking at one now but am interested to see what sort of price it was. May look at 8ch. Is the footage good enough to use alongside a Gopro video at the same resolution?
+Park oftheDead the cctv system was £219 and the 2tb hdd was £66. Picture quality at 1080p is pretty good.
Thanks for the video. is it for outdoor use? what about poe switch?
Yes it's for outdoor use and no need for a POE switch as all cameras plug in the DVR.
It seems that the HDD is secured in a similar manner to the 'tree/gutter-pipe strap' on the ReoLink Argus Eco: by reading the instructions first.
Fahigqgqhqwii
Ok thanks
Hi
I bought Sannce poe system.
Is there anything I can use to avoid lots of wiring?
I have network adapter but it is not transferring data to nvr.
Thanks
Hi, not sure what you mean by avoid lots of wiring. Its a Poe system the cameras need to be connected somewhere.
@Geek street can you access the cameras and see in real time if you are away, from your cell phone?
+Elias Sharifi yes and it's really easy to setup.
did you buy the full HD 1080p one or 720p? I know your title says 1080P, but please confirm that for me, also would you recommend it?
Asim Sheikh yes I brought the full 1080p version. It's been around a year now and I'm very pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.
Thank you
I buy this works fine
My cama wont work no more keep saying ipc fail how do I sort this out?
So the poe cable connects from each camera to the dvr And a hdmi cable connects dvr too monitor or smart tv !!!?Is there a Ethernet cable connecting the DVR to the modem/router ? Or is that part wireless??
Yes there is an ethernet cable going from the DVR to the router.
Ok will it still work without hard drive if not which hard drive best to buy.
Thank u 4 your reply
Leah Cara not sure it will work with out the hard disk, no reason why it shouldn't. I purchased the following hard disk from Amazon WD Purple 2TB Surveillance Hard Disk Drive - Intellipower SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch
I think Dr K added this video to his playlist by mistake
Good job for the illustration. i have a question, is it possible to connect this system to a wireless router?. I want to buy one but i don't have a wired connection at home
Thanks for the comment, I must be connected via an ethernet cable.
Thank you for taking the time to film this...very helpful seems a good system except it would have been better with the old BNC cables they seem very thick ,,,but hey ,,, thanks....
MC C thanks for the comment much appreciated. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
Is have a slide lock if not the 4 holes on bottom for screws
Hey I loved your video. how do you actually record though? i installed all the cameras and everything is set but I cant record. I just go to the menu that says "record" and it shows "record conf" "playback" and back up. where is the actual "record" button?
+Yochanan Munoz from what I remember it's set to record straight away. Go to the playback option select a camera and play to check.
Geek Street hey thabks for toutñr response!! But I go to the playback and i press play and nothing happens. it's as if it hasnt recorded anything.
Is your harddrive installed in the hdr box?
my friend got this and recommended it. im wondering if its possible to hook up to 2 tvs, one downstairs and one upstairs. id like to be able to look at the screen in my room when my yard sensors go off to know if its a person or just a animal/insect/wind. running the wires may be a mess for me
This is possible as there is both VGA and HDMI so hook both them up.
Where did you buy yours from? Online or store?
i got mine off ebay, i got it totally hooked up yesterday its pretty decent. from 10 feet away you get a pretty clear shot. but if your aiming 3 doors down to cover a wide area your not going to see license plate numbers or clear face shots. but i paid only 150$ and it came with a 1tb hard drive. and paid another 30 for 4 100 foot cable sets just to make sure i wasnt short any wire. took me a day to set the cameras up and about 9 hours to do all the wiring because i had problems drilling a giant hole in my house on my roof lol. but for 150$ its great imo. i also got it to work with 2 tvs. its prob not the absolute best system but for me its what i wanted. i can glance at my screen and see if anyone is at my front door, back door, garage, or trying to sneak through the lot next door and i have alot of problems with my neighbors destroying our area so i can now make a compilation of the crap they do and send it to the police since we have ahorrible police repsond time (took them 3 hours to show up yesterday). if you look on my page in the uploads, find a video about 2 tvs, and then look at the info under it, i copy and pasted the exact name of the camera i bought from ebay so people can find it if they want to by one.
Nice. I still am under 18. But I won't have trouble. I'll get a ladder in the house and tape the cord to the roof, make one guard outside my garage since we have already had 2 crashes in my street this year.
Quick Question: On these types of systems with network access, do you HAVE to connect it to a network or can you use it as a stand alone DVR/Camera system?
Anthony Justus you don't have to connect it to your network you can run it standalone.
Hi . I have recently changed my internet provider . And now getting error when testing the network . Any ideas on how I can fix this ? Thanks .
hi mate im looking at buying this is it still working ? i currently running 2mp analog cameras and looking at upgrading to 2mp poe camera think i notice a difference
If you current system is 720p and to go over to a 1080p system you will notice a slight difference but if your current system is 1080p and new one is 1080p you won't notice anything, if that's the case then don't bother upgrading.
Hey when u had issues connecting to the network did u just have to enter your IP Address and then re test and it worked??
Yes just keep the trying and it will work.
This is what I have except BNC and dome camera's. It came with 1 Tb.
The mouse had to go.
I'm sure the guy speaking in this video is Piers Morgan,,,,, sounds just like him. Well done Piers, keep up the surveillance :)
+Swagmuffin lol
Geek Street Amazon are are knocking out the Annke 960 HD wireless with 4 cams for around £170, Is the price ok and do you have experience with the wireless option?
+Swagmuffin nice .... sounds like good deal...does that include the hard disk.
Is it usable if I intend to have it just in an internal subnet, not allowing it to connect to internet? Also, does the NVR interface get available locally on NVR's address?
Thanks for the question. Yes in answer to both questions, don't forget to like and subscribe.
one more question please, the unit is sold with 2 different resolutions/camera quality, one is 1080p same as yours full HD and the other is 1280 x 960 which is a little more than half HD or HD ready. Not sure if you have any experience of the lower resolution cameras? there's a good £90 price difference, therefore i am wondering whether its worth going for the higher resolution cameras or not? what would you suggest? help appreciated.
+Asim Sheikh I've see a 960 resolution camera and it's ok nothing bad but if you see the 1080 one you can tell the difference the 1080 one is crystal clear. But like I said it's nothing major.
Thanks for the advice bud.
i got the annk one, looks the same as yours, but i got the power cable female come out from the camera, they said it is POE, but it got a power cable , i dont know what to do
+Jeff z that sounds strange, does it have an ethernet port?
Hi mate looking to purchase this soon do you need it hooked up to the internet to view on your phone thanks in advanced
Flosman if you want to view remotely when your away from your house then yes.

You are quite handy other than being a musical genius.
Hi there, can you view saved video clips from over the internet with this? Can you use your own POE ONVIF cameras with the NVR if you want? Thanks!
+mathew t yes you can view saved video clips over the internet. Sorry i'm not 100% sure about using your own POE ONVIF camera with the NVR.
Geek Street thanks for replying so quickly!
mathew t no problem happy to help in anyway. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
@geek street i just bought same cameras and im going to send them to my country, can i check them from here uk? thanks
+Arbana Rrjolli yes definitely.....as long as you have Internet in the property with the cameras and your remote location it can work
Jesus man, is the hard disk coming with the package or you bought separately, i killed myself to found out from your video but i could not find anything about it. pleeeeeeeease!!!
+BG I've just updated the description and added a link to the hard disk. Hope that helps.
Very good videos
Thanks for the comment much appreciated. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
I have a question for you I got the same cameras but am not able to connect to the internet on 16:26 I Seen you had the same problem so how you get to work where it has all the gateway to work great video👍
Thanks for the comment, I flipped between dhcp and a fixed IP and just kept retrying and then eventually it worked!
I recently installed the set up and love it. However, when I call for playback, then press fast playback, It just moves really slow (like 1/2 second for 1 second recording. There has got to be a way to zap through the scenes Help
Geek Street+ Nice video, so the ethernet cord provides power to the cameras? thought you would show the remote access via your phone and what app would you use, thanks
+Andy Lee thanks for the comment. Your actually in luck I have another video which shows the different viewing options. Check it out ua-cam.com/video/SHoYX8yFCWM/v-deo.html
+Andy Lee yes the Ethernet cable provides the power.
Wow didnt even realize that ethernet could provide the power in that way just learned something new, i always only saw just dvr cams now theres nvr cam kits that seems way better
Geek street can i set this up without all that port forwarding stuff ?(I'm not into computers) > I'd just like a set up of this same system I've seen on Amazon and still be able to receive Email alerts hopefully without the need to do port forwarding.
Any advice would be would be appreciated.
Oh! Great video you've done as well.
This system uses cloud based login so no need to do any port forwarding.
@@GeekStreet thanks very much for your help G/S so no port forwarding to worry about.
(Again)Thank you my friend.
Your welcome buddy. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
Sannce suppose to be an onvif compatible, but it wont search for IP cameras other then its own. The cameras it came with is pretty plug and play but adding other cameras is a pain.
The cables it comes with are patch cables and are to flex to crimp well. Just cut your own cable.
Thanks for the comment. Actually I have tried with other systems which are onvif compatible and it does work but just to note a couple of things. On the onvif camera you may have to enable onvif, on the NVR you will probably have to manually setup the onvif camera and ensure the the correct username and password is entered if the onvif camera has a very high resolution which if higher that what the NVR can support you will need to lower the resolution. It does work but generally not plug and play.
Anyone know how I can rotate the view of the camera? I got my camera number 2 mounted sideways on the wall, the view in the television is sideways. I want to change the orientation view.
Have you thought of mounting the camera on a tripod thus keeping BOTH hands free when filming. Would be a more interesting video and not so annoying. Thanks for the effort
+Michael Bryant thanks for the comment i brought a tripod this year and have been doing that on the new videos!
Can I set this system up with my iPhone and view it through my tv? Or do I have to have a desktop/laptop?
Yes you can setup on a iPhone, you could cast your iPhone onto the TV.
Is this better than the incosky security system? I just bought it and I haven't set it up yet. It doesn't even come with a remote but it does have a hard drive 1TB. Should I choose a different one ?
+Crystal Rosas not sure as I've not heard of that one. It may be worth reading some reviews on that system to see what the general consensus is.
Geek Street a0
The app and alerts are so far my biggest complaint, I'm trying motion sensitivity at 5% as anything more triggers literal constant alerts to the point where there are new alerts every 5 minutes due to flies
Se. I have a question. Why one of my cameras keep jumping and getting the others cameras IP. How I can fix it?
Thanks
+Luis Vazquez I've not seen that issue, but I can make some suggestions.
1. Perhaps your router is only give a small range of IP addresses and maybe it's run out of addresses to give. This is a bit extreme bit you never know.
2. Turn the system off and disconnect the cameras from the DVR turn the system back on then plug in each camera and wait for the picture to appear then move onto the next camera do this slowly.
3. Perhaps 2 of the cameras have the same MAC address.
4. Maybe a faulty camera or a faulty camera.
5. Another device on the network has the same IP address and this is static and is causing a conflict
Let me know how it goes, would be interesting to hear how you resolve.
Can I set this up then turn my monitor of and use my tablet as my viewing screen ?
Yes you can do that.
I have just ordered an equivalent system, was just wondering what you did in the end with the cables at the camera end with regards to drilling holes etc?
I cut off the connector and drilled a small hole and then I fitted a new connector.
@@GeekStreet so I assume you then had the waterproof connector exposed outside or did you put that in a box
@@maxlandy7642 no need as the connector is waterproof.
@@GeekStreet I was thinking more for security so the cable cant be cut or unscrewed. . Thanks for the quick responses. Much appreciated
@@maxlandy7642 ah ok, then definitely put in a waterproof box.
14:48 to get to the good bits of video.
I have a system like this everything works fine but I can only get 2 of my cameras to record do you know what my problem may be?
Click around the options for each camera and see what selected. There is a motion detect option but also a constant record.
hi Sar which app you use for used the mobile and you can see the playback on the mobile this CCTV camera set because I have CCTV camera set same one please can you help me thank you very much
Hi i got same cameras i use XMEye i find it the best
Nice review. Shame those RJ45 connectors are so huge. Probably need a 22mm drill bit to get them connectors through the wall!? Use some good expanding foam to fill the void, and some sealant when screwing the cameras to the wall, keep the moisture out.
+Zed Man I actually fitted in the camera's in the sofit area below the gutters and cut the RJ45 cable so drilled the smallest hole possible and used a crimping tool to put the connector on. Avoided doing such a big hole an the connection is sealed so shouldn't have issues in the future.
If you don't want to have to re-terminate the cable, you can just feed from where the camera is going to be the end that will go into the back of the box since it doesn't have all the weather proof stuff on it.
Is this system any similar to those in Aliexpress im thinking of buying the kit one more thing, can you monitor the cameras from another network by an app. Can you access the hard drive from your phone?
Yes it's similar to those. You can monitor the cameras remotely but you can only access the data on the disk from the app not directly.
Geek Street thanks for the info

AWESOME VIDEO !...Im looking into ordering this off eBay with no hard drive ...can I use a USB memory stick to save video? and will this Still work with no Internet? ..PLEASE HELP SO I CAN PURCHASE ASAP..THANK U!!
Matt Christie no, you need a hard disk, usb memory stick can not be used for this purpose as far as I'm aware.
Ok thanks! You're Awesome thank you for SUCH A FAST REPLY!
Matt Christie no problem, your welcome.
Can you also get feeds on your phone?
Hello! Any chance to record audio with same set?
no audio on this system
Does it matter if my wifi connection is good?if my wifi doesn t work will the cameras not work?Sorry i m not good with this...maybe it s a silly question!... thx
Hi I was just wondering if you were able to hook it up to your mobile device. I am having no luck what so ever.
hey i bought one but the cameras are black and have dual inputs i was wondering is a hard drive really needed or can i just use my 500gb flash drive on the back?
EL DESTROYER a hard disk is definitely required.
ok thanks i haven't opened it will i still be able to view through the cameras? im new to this camera securty stuff
With the HDD installed, will it constantly record? How does it know when to delete history? How many hours of recording will your 2 TB HDD hold? Thanks for the vid!
+A K no you can set it to record on motion detection. You can also set it to overwrite on full capacity and there is also an option to hold recordings for a set number of days. My 2TB drive holds about 3-4 months of recordings.
Thanks for the reply! Is there a way to set it to always record? Or is that standard in surveillance systems?
A K no problem, by default it's set to always record you have to change to enable it to record on motion defect. Hope that helps.
Can this be hotspot wifi and not just connecting to a router
Can it operate without the hard drive, ? without storage ? I don't want video record or storage..
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Yes it can operate without the storage.
Hi do you know if I can use this poe cameras to connect to my router ?
Yes poe need router as poe stands for power over ethernet.
I think he would have had tough time in recording this video rather than installation...
anyway its good man...

Do you have to have a computer and internet to set this up?
Dear Geek Street, What is the maximum cable length you can connect to each camera?
vas papa maximum length is 120 Metres this info is from the info on Amazon.
How long is the cable?
Is this still working well after a few years?
Yea
@@GeekStreet hey man having issues with mine the cameras keeps turning off and on when I mess with the digital IP address.
Sometime the camera turn on and sometimes says no config offline turn back on and off and sometimes even stays off completely
Can I add more cameras to this setup with a PoE switch or will the 4ch box only support 4 cams?
+Daniel Jones no it will only support 4 cameras. I did contact one of the manufacturers regarding the OS to ask if it's possible to change the number of cameras the system can see they said it's not possible but I'm sure it is. The reason a say this is that I turned on two cctv systems on my home network and it was possible to see the other systems cameras on the DVR as it just scans for an IP address on your network and does not have to be connected directly to the system.
Geek Street yeh that's what I was thinking, because you can search for cameras in the setup with an IP address I wondered if more cameras were present then you might be able to add them, but not to worry, thanks for the info

+Alvin Wyllie I have a 50mb download and 1mb upload and that's fine.
