    Carefully open the packaging boxes, in which you can find the cameras, NVR and other essential accessories to get the system hooked up.
    Now, let’s take a look at the NVR.
    On the front panel of the NVR, you can see five indicators, they’re the POWER indicator, IR receiver indicator, REC--recording indicator, LINK--network connection indicator and ALARM indicator.
    Here on the back, are the four PoE Ethernet ports to which you connect your IP cameras, VGA and HDMI outputs for video display, RJ45 Ethernet port to connect your router, two USB2.0 ports for USB mouse or USB backup, RS485 PTZ control port and the DC 12V Power-in.
    The basic components of the camera are a weatherproof PoE port, IP66 weatherproof housing, smart IR-CUT filter, 36pcs of infrared LEDs and a glass cover.
    Installation: before connecting the cameras, you’ll have to install the hard disk in the NVR first so it can record. Unscrew the metal case of the NVR. Get the hard disk, and plug the HDD power cord and data cord into the corresponding ports of the hard disk. Then place the HDD properly in the case and flip the NVR to get the hard disk tightly fixed to it with four screws. If the hard disk is already built in the NVR, you can just ignore this part.After this, you can get the cameras hooked up. Find the coming ethernet cables in the package, and connect one end of the cable to the camera. Remember to put on the weatherproof casing at the joint and fix it tightly so that the camera is totally weatherproof. The other end of the ethernet cable goes to one of the POE ports on the back panel of the NVR. Then connect the monitor to the NVR via HDMI port. Plug in the USB mouse and the power adapter.
    Finally, use an ethernet cable to connect the NVR to your router and get internet connection.And then you can go over the Guide wizard on the monitor. There is no need to modify the settings, just leave them by default and click Next. And of course, you can change the time format or language if you want. Here, you’ll also find the QR-Code of the mobile app and the QR-code of the NVR’s serial number. They are used when you want to get remote access to the system via your mobile devices or computer. After the Guide wizard, you can watch live monitoring video on your monitor now.
    Remote monitoring on smartphone, tablet and computer is also very convenient via our free desktop or mobile apps..
    For smartphone and tablet users, download the “XMeye” app. You can get it from Google Play or APP Store for free, or just scan the QR-code on the screen.Open the app and register an account. Input the user name, password and e-mail address to create your own account. Log in with the account you just created. Click on “+” on the top right of the interface to add the NVR.
    Create a new device name for the NVR, and get the serial number by scanning the QR-code showing in the NVR Guide wizard. How to find the QR-code then? You can enter the NVR Guide wizard by right-clicking the monitoring interface on your monitor and choose “Guide”. There you’ll find the QR-Code, which we also mentioned in the NVR Quick Setup part.
    Then the NVR you just added will be presented on the screen. Click on it, all the cameras you have connected to the NVR will be presented on the screen. Click on any one of them to watch live video.
    Remote monitoring via your computer: Get the software “CMS” from the coming CD and install it on your computer. Open the PC client software and log in, the username is “Super” by default and no password is needed.
    After login, choose “System”, click on “Device Manager”. Select “Add Area” to create a group for the NVR and input a Zone name that is easy for you to remember. Once done, click on the Zone name you just created and then click on “Add Device” to add the NVR into that group. Name your NVR, check “Cloud”, input the serial number of the NVR. You can get the NVR’s Serial Number by right-clicking on the monitoring interface on your monitor to enter the Main Menu, choose Info and select Version; there you will get the basic information of the NVR including its serial number. Once done, click on OK.
    Then it enters the viewing interface. Double-click the device name you just added and the pull-down menu shows all the cameras you’ve connected to this NVR. Move the cursor to the NVR device name, right- click your mouse and select “Connect all video (Extra Stream)”. And then the real-time monitoring videos are presented on the screen, you can change the display modes of all the videos via the buttons on the bottom of the screen. You can also do other settings and control the system via the right-side menu.

    my system has been running for a few years Love it 7 cameras ,our power has been going on and off at the house, and now I cant get my camers on my i phone when I am away from house ,something in setting I guess on the dvr changed cant get it to work at all ,but at home I can pull them up on my cell ??????????????? any help would be great Thanks

    Had to put a piece of black electrical tape over the spot on the box where it would get a remote signal. I do not have a remote but that seems to be standard. It was stopping recording by itself and doing a lot of weird things. Turns out it was my TV controller and it was somehow picking it up. For the price I really can't complain. I've got a couple of my friends wanting to buy the same I have. Might sell them mine, should have got an 8 camera system.🤷‍♂️👍💯

    Hi Sannce I bought a new Seagate Skyhawk 2TB and installed into my DVR . Got auto format message then screen said "formatting storage". Since then the screen been black with power button flashing red and DVR making a whirring noise. This been happening for 20 hours. I can't get no menu up using the mouse and I don't know what's happening. Have emailed, messaged on FB so now coming to UA-cam to find out, is this normal? How long does it take to auto format a new hard drive?

    I've contacted the Sannce company through email asking for assistance to trouble shoot some problems we are having with the recording and now we're getting a message stating No Config.. When contacting the company "support team" they're very vague with the answers, and I'm sure it doesn't help that there is no support team in the U.S and this was told to me by them through email....

    So no completely local only access? If I want to view the cameras on my computer I have to run that through the internet only? Does this not have a web browser accessable interface that can be accessed by the IP that is assigned to the box?

    Hello again, I don't know what happened with the system now, something strange behavior get my attention as the dvr beeps by certainly time, now I tried to connect from my work to see whats going on with the house and the app shows that muy cams were offline. when I get to my home something changed to the configuration since in the info is showing nat service connecting (or so) I did restore the system with no success (connection) and cloud shows connecting, worst of all, now some cameras won't connect as before. Need help with this now :(

      That's not how you are to connect it. You are to use the VGA port for a monitor. It does not connect to the computer at all

      If you want to view it on your phone or computer, you need to connect it to the router using an ethernet cable.

    Is there any way to change your qr code once someone has had access to the DVR or could anyone with access just remote view for life?

      You cannot change the QR code, and you certainly can get the remote view of live view.
      1. If you want to get remote view, would you pls go to check that have you used an ethernet cable to connect the DVR to router? There should be two lights, one green and one yellow, at the ethernet port.
      2. Would you please go to main menu-info-version, to check whether the NAT status is connected or not?
      3.If it is probing DNS, pls follow this to fix IP.

    On my mobile phone I can see live cameras but I can't see the playback videos on any cameras. It did work in beginning but now it won't show any playback .

    Bought the system less than a year ago. Had a power outage and when the system turned on only half of the camera worked and one camera now shows a fuzzy view. I bought the system through eBay. Never had a problem till now.

      SANNCE otherwise known as ANNKE sell rubbish products and DO NOT honor their warranty's. Their Support people will continually refuse to do anything about your problem. So what is the point in asking people to contact support when they are clearly the problem. Your sales people (sales@mysannce.com) are even worse they don't even reply to emails!
      Stay clear from SANNCE and ANNKE products and spend your money elsewhere.

      You made a good decision here.To every one else steer clear of their products. This company who also trades as Annke will use every excuse to not honor their warranty. Eventually they will just ignore your communications and refuse to do anything. Mine completely failed only after 9 months and they simply didn't want to fix or replace it. Lucky I bought it with a credit card and I have lodged a dispute with my bank as they clearly misrepresented the products warranty. This company is extremely dishonest and simply does not care about customers

      We have many models of system and different model has different functions. The answer for all your question relies on model of system you are using.

    I followed your steps but when I go to network test it says, test Gateway ERR in red letters. I even connected a new ethernet cable and restarted the router and DVR but it still doesn't work.

      Sannce N44SU1T, after further testing it looks like the internal camera at the top of the stairs is motion activated, but it is not activated on the settings! 🤔🤔🤔

      Sannce ok so after full system restore and checking motion detection, alarm 🚨 beep it is still turning off after 5 mins.system only activates when i walk up to internal camera records for 5 mins then turns off. Loud beep to say turning on then that's it

    Hi, is there any thing I can do to fix the lag or low frame rate.. bc the image is going 2 or 3 secs and then jumps to 7-8 i.e. and so on.

      same question, i have reduced the sub stream to vga at best and 25 fps, seems to be the best way to view remotely, the main stream i have set at highest everything, in case i ever need to review in detail

      Working now, the problem was with the Molex to SATA cable, switched for a new one and that fixed the non working hdd. Thanks for your support

      Mine completed died after only 9 months of usage and SANNCE refused to honor the warranty.
      They will be very happy to take your money but the warranty and service is worthless.
      DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS ON ANY PRODUCTS FROM ANNKE or SANNCE!

    I hard started doint the order, but because of these comments. i will pass and offload the item from my Cart. all this trouble is not worth it and it only used wired connection to internet.

    Trying to set my up. It says the password is null . What does that mean ? Bc I can't change the password without the original password

      I have same problem
      U can either disconnect and turn back on when it's prompt for password just click ok
      If not then call sannce and give them your model no and MAC address they will give u super password it will let u in admin mode
      That's what I did to call them

      leave the password area blank. i had the same problem with actually typing in "null"

      In order to record, please make sure there is hard drive installed in your system first and log in system to go to main menu--advanced--storage to make sure the status of hard drive is normal.

    This NVR software for PC is real dog shit. If anyone prefers the Android layout and needs to view their cameras on PC, download BlueStacks -- its an android emulator which will allow you to run the android Saance App within the emulator instead of the Windows version. Took me about 10 minutes to setup.
