I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

When you were testing the hand in front of the camera on 4g of course its fast because you had it on low quality not 4k hd
@Geek street 11:23 motion screen shows red dots, does it detect fake motion? As i know it appears all the time. Does it mean that whole playback line is all red as motion detected?
It all depends on the sensitivity, this will reduce the false alerts.
I have trouble with Annke POE NVRs. They tend to overheat and start lagging and acting choppy. They need to develop units with at least 2 integrated fans.

@@marklittler784 They'd make a great product if they didn't overheat. I've added a mini fan to one of them and it improved the performance but ultimately I got rid of it because the noise is unbearable.
Add other ONVIF cameras Q: as kit is 4k camera can lower resolution be selected for recording i.e. 5mp..found the software setup was rushed that is the difficult part ...I watched to learn but found setup unclear...an extra minute filming and explaining would help thanks
Take a look around 10:10 you can reduce the resolution there. Its more on resolution than mp

You shouldn't have to do anything in addition.
2:54 Why do cameras have optional additional power? When I bought my Swann nvr the cameras also had additional power. I have all my cameras connected via Ethernet, will adding additional power do anything?
At a guess it could be to allow you to connect to a ethernet switch and power separately so not connect to the NVR.

Same issue, noone will help, lol. I just returned a unit because I didn't know had to have internet to install it. Same crap with printers. Makes me wonder why these huge corps want everything online. Even instructions, it's pathetic!

Hello, I've been solving a problem with Annke's support for a year now. I alerted them to the insufficient value of the record. New firmwares have a minimum value of 30 seconds, which is bad and nobody wants to deal with it. Another problem is with the sensitivity, even if I set the value to the minimum value of 20, it almost constantly uploads. The problem is both NVR and specific cameras....again, no one solves it for at least a year..... ONVIF camera support, picture, sound goes but does not record. ... again, Annke doesn't want to solve anything. The old firmware worked fine. No one can help with support, they just copy the same text over and over. ANNKE is a disastrous company that rebrands an unnamed company. The unnamed company is at least reacting in some way, which cannot be said about Annke. I've been installing this brand for years and I'm leaving for the amateurish approach.

Anything that requires ANY kind of internet/ehternet reliable functions is a FLAW…. All I gotta do is knock out your power for 1 second and your system resets giving me a window and it probably wouldn’t even restart recording by the time the theft occurs - FLAWED, Closed Loop DVR with UPS, only way to go
I can't find one system that doesn't require internet to hook up. So frustrating. I mean 10 years or so ago they all were plug n play, no?
i have a 16 channel nvr system and all i can say this is a shit camera system. only one phone can connect at a time for remote viewing and the app is shit . they provided a software to install for remote viewing that is pretty much useless. i give 0 star for annke. oh btw my system is keep restarting every now and then. cheers annke.

Now that should be good. One frustration I have at the moment is that I have a camera covering my front door and I want to be alerted if someone is standing there but there is a tree near by and when the suns out I get an alert caused by the shadow from the tree!
