I'm an architect in Honduras, I have a Daughter studying in Tennessee. She's an international student & my boy is finishing Highschool soon, I think he wants to go to Canada. 👋👋🇭🇳
Fun fact: During winter of 2016, I got admitted into Ohio State for engineering. Of course I didn't go, but I applied mainly because of their drum major program 🤓. I still learned a few of their baton tricks online and thought them to the drum majors after me at my high school.
Can you make a video of your journey to architecture? Why you choose architecture? Do you need a portfolio when you apply for the college? Your videos help a lot. Love ya!
I'm in Ohio and just applied for Fall 2021 at 4 Ohio schools and was accepted at each. University of Cincinnati did require a portfolio, opposite of what your video says, so maybe they just changed this practice? So did Miami of Ohio require it, but OSU and Kent State did not. I'm struggling now to pick between these schools. Opinions of the 4? I did not apply to Bowling Green who also offers an Architecture degree.
I stand corrected above. It was optional at UC. Only Miami required it. I sent one to OSU and Kent State as well, although they never even advertised it as being optional. Just no mention of a portfolio with those two.
I recommend OSU or UC! UC has a DAAP program which is really renowned actually. And I will also say OSU had so many amenities that I utilized in architecture school. The building was constructed in 2004 and it is just so beautiful and has all the new cool features architecture schools need in today's modern times. I haven't heard much from Miami. My two friends graduated from Kent State too and they are crazzzyy talented. So that is another option that you can pursue!!!! At the end of the day, I can't tell you where to go!! Go where it feels right for you
Hey, I’m way late but I’m a sophomore in high school - I don’t know if you look at this much but do you feel there is a big difference between an Ivy League or an in state college ? I have UC right here in my home city but is it worth it to go out of state and rack up more money? Or is there not the biggest difference?? Could you outline it
Can u do the a video for a graduate architecture school that don’t need GRE? when I googled it one of that grad school was Cornell university but I’m not sure
Hi! I’m Italian and I graduated in Venezuela, any tips to help find a master degree in United States? Are there options to get a scholarship? ❤ thanks!!
Does our school have to be accredited by NAAB? Because I’ve been wanting to go to sac state for ever for Interior architecture but now I don’t want to go if it’s worthless without it. Please let me know!!
@@UnravelingArchitecture Interesting o_o... so UC Cincinnati for example have better architecture programs than UC Berkeley? From what I know, UC Berkeley ranks within top 10-20 in the US
@@dldptmej the ranking is overall for the program, not the school, UC Berkeley overall is a better school but the program in Cincinnati is better in the ranking
thank you so much for posting this Natalie!

Hi Nat, Uic vs penn state. Which is better?

I want to know too
I believe that to be eligible for your architecture license test, you have to have a masters degree from a naab accredited program
wow, no UC Berkeley?
That would've been number 11(: Great school

How much is tuition at OSU?
varies depending on if you're in-state or out-of-state. They have all that information on their website
Are only women accepted to architecture school ? I'm surprised to see almost all the UA-cam architecture channels hosted by female people.
👌👍👍
