      Another way to do it is go to community college and start knocking out your GEs. Community college will usually offer minor classes in many fields. Once I knew architecture was the choice for me I transferred after 2 years into a 5 year program. Some of my classes transferred and took a little load off the fast pace environment of a 5 year program. Come 2020 I have my professional B.ARCH degree 😎 Nat hits the mark when she says architecture is not easy and is not for everyone but also the more you put in the more you get back!

It is a slight change because I started a MS in Transportation Management but I learned that I missed the creative and hands on component of my life as I used to create graphic novels in my younger years. This realization resulted in a slight educational change that ultimately I am excited for. Thanks for the content!

      Hey Wensya! So really the only difference is the title.
      BS = Bachelor's of Science
      BA = Bachelors of Arts
      A BSwill require more S.T.E.M. classes to meet your graduation requirements (take more physics classes, science classes, math classes, etc)
      A BA will require less S.T.E.M. classes to meet your graduation requirements and you will probably take more art classes (painting, photography, visual classes, graphic design classes, etc)
      Hope that cleared things up!

Taubman College has fellowships where talented young designers from all the over county are invited to teach studios. So the work produced there always feels fresh and on par with the rest of the big arch schools. Like she mentioned, amenities are absolutely great, but you really have to make the effort to utilize them and incorporate them into your studio projects. Unfortunately many students only use laser cutters since they're very convenient. The school had an expansion completed in 2017 and I am told the graduate studios are now even nicer than I remember.
