    This song actually is meant to be from a band that is in the star wars universe itself. As Cal (the player character and Protagonist) is actually listening to this exact song at the very beginning of the game on a set of headphones while working in a scrap yard.

    This song is played in a alien gladiator arena where the jedi is stuck and has to fight some creatures to escape, this song sums up the adrenaline rush so well, great song, great reaction❤

    As a violinist I'm always disturbed by the way they play these thick strings. With their fingers mostly behind/under the string, or in a mix above and under the string. I suppose this way of playing is creating the specific overtone sound. It's sharper and higher then a usual overtone on a violin or cello. Just love the horsehead instruments they play!

    If I remember correctly, the song was an already existing one of theirs called 'Black Thunder'. They came up with the alien language and translated their song to the new language 🙃
    This is one of my favorites from them, thank you for reacting to it!

      I read somewhere that they were asked to make a song for the game, and how they did it was to make a song in Mongolian and then change it over to the Star Wars language. I like how they slipped a Segeni Danjela in there.

    I played it! Afterwards I tattooed it on my arm, so ... Yeah, it's an ok game 😛
    The song plays shortly in the beginning and then later in an arena where they throw beasts after beasts at you. At highest difficulty I died quite a lot, but weirdly didn't mind that too much 😅

    Since you're interested in throat singing you might want to consider the film Genghis Blues, if you've not seen it already. The film follows an American, blind blues singer who goes to compete in the Tuvan national throat singing competition. Oscar nominated, great stuff.

    I think I remember seeing an interview with The Hu, yes it’s sung in a fictional alien language but The Hu wanted meaning behind the words so they wrote it to Mongolian lyrics first 🙂

    To me (with a western europe point of view) this kind of music I got to know with Yat-Kha and Albert Kuvezin, and Huun Huur Tu. Especially Yat-Kha - still the greatest for me, because they mixed the traditional central asian style of singing and instrumentation with hard rock and blues.

    Folk metal is really fun, I already recommend Bloodywood. Another you may find interesting is Angra, it is a Brazilian power metal, at the roots of the what would become symphonic metal, they blend metal, classic and Brazilian music together. Theirs album Holy land is a tribute to various Brazilian music styles.

    Fact: for the Fallen Jedi Order, Lucas Arts wanted something original, never heard before. They came across Hu band and asked them to play this song for us. The leader of Hu said we can not, not this. Let me take it back and translate it into something we are familiar with. He came back to the Lucas Arts guy after some time when they were finished and told the fellow that not only did they have to translate the song but had to make some changes. Lucas Arts said play it for me and as he was listening to it the fellow called his boss and said listen .......from then on Lucas Arts used what they wrote Sugaan Essena.

    This sequence in the game takes place in the very beginning of the game on a world full of ruined starships as a result of the Clone Wars, which the hero Cal Kestis has to navigate while working as a scrapper to stay out of sight from the Empire. So, if you're to imagine a visual for what's happening here, he's working as a metalworker in a dangerous environment full of searing sparks and clanging metal, jumping between broken parts of ships to salvage whatever he can for a meager living. Imagine the working conditions of 1800s England mixed with the graveyard of endless broken starships and their rusted metal.

    you taking metal recommendations from the comments? there's...so many, i could suggest, but i'll only go with one, for now.
    i would like it if you would react to SepticFlesh - Hierophant this is, in the Death Metal realm, so ofc, if you wanna know what they're saying you'll have to pull up the lyrics,
    IF you consider reacting to this song, thanks! and uh if not oh well i guess. keep it up and see ya around.

    Hello mate how are you? Hey Ken Lavigne What is that Tuvin Takara? Tuva and Mongolia are no deference. They are one nation. There are many tribes in Mongol nation such as Tuva, Buryad, Dorvod and south Mongolia and Tuva is the one of them. But it was united by SSSR in 1941. Now part of Russia. I never heard Tuvin Takara. It is interesting mate

      @Gerald H what your mentioning here is all Governing names of steppe tribes. But people were the same. Come do some DNA test. Same as Chinese had different dynasty names but Chinese people were the same.

    • @enkhzayazundui1063
      @enkhzayazundui1063 Рік тому

      @Gerald H what are you talking about? South Altains or Tuvans, what are you talking about. Tureg and Mongol ( which we speak today) are the same language with different dialect. Our DNA is at least 40 or more percent Siberian. They might not called Mongol but we are the same people. Don't make things up.

    • @enkhzayazundui1063
      @enkhzayazundui1063 Рік тому

      @Gerald H also, sorry to tell you that all steppe tribes united under the name of Mongol Empire in 1206. Hope you can read about it somewhere. I dont have to claim, but history will tell you.

      @Gerald H someone told me there are 70000 years of history people leaving on steppes. Why Scythinas left or how Magyar pop up in Europe, I don't know. It has to be studied thoroughly without of being bias to anyone, based on facts. Definitely what I know now is long before Hunnu there was civilization with symbol of deer. And later on Kidan, Xianbe,Tureg, Yughur, Mongols and Jurched were leading steppe tribes. Pretty sure those people had many things in common. There can't be completely new people pop in every 2 to 300 years. That is not possible.
      Tureg had demolished by Yughur. Even the name of Tureg was gone. Now some people pushing it for Geopolitical reason.
      After Mongol Empire, Jurched had controled us roughly 170 some years. Jurched had fight 100 more years to complete control over Mongols. Tuvans always part of those history. Nothing different special about them, really. Their everything look like Mongol except some dialect. They are Urianhai Mongol, I don't know when they called Tuva. I dont know.
