@@solarlola5953 It looks good in her video, yes - but it can quickly look like "elephant-feet" if you wear chunky shoes with a completely tight outfit.
This video is very timely since I just invested in a pair of chunky loafer/Oxford hybrid. They’re more than I normally spend on shoes; this will help me to try them with a few different outfits!
One of the reasons I love your videos so much it’s great style tips in general, but your voice is so adorable to listen to I love whenever you say chunky it like makes me 😊!! Thank you so much for your content really trying hard to up my style game 🎉
Thanks Lydia ! I have some mule chunky loafers that I no idea how to wear. Are you able to do a video for mule type shoes and include the chunky types as well ?
You often mention when not to use skinnier or tighter trousers or jeans, makes me curious of when it’s right to match them to other garments? Also I’m curious to know if your recommendations about proportions are applicable to all body shapes? Keep up the great content, you’ve taught me so much already!
I just bought some chunky slide in brown loafers with a thick chain across. They’re super comfy but have 0 idea how to style them. I prefer a minimalistic shoe but was feeling daring. Your video helped me a little but I still don’t know how to style them due to the chunky golden chain across the top. Any tips? They’re the Madden girl platform loafers
more of this for chunky loafers please. I wanted to be sustainable by having the durable mary jane and now it’s hard for me to pull them of without looking short and childish 😅
I was seeing the chunky loafer paired with cropped jeans and black nylon socks everywhere in paris! I really love the look! Do you just put your black tights on under the jeans or you have socks?
High tops cut off your legs. You want to combat this thru matching the color with your skin or tights, or go with platform high tops. I suggest pairing them with something closer to the color of your skin or tights if you’re wearing that. Let’s say you’re wearing black tights under a dress (I know, this style is a bit dated), if you pair black high tops with those tights, it makes your legs look longer and leaner. If you’re fair skinned, a lighter colored pair (think cream, pale pink, white, tan, beige) will make your legs look a bit longer (there’s a reason why Chanel ballet flats are a cult favorite) and vice versa for our darker skinned friends. Another option would be to wear platform high tops because it makes your taller (thus giving you length). Hope this helps!

Maybe it's because you're pretty and rather thin, but these outfits look great. I like this style a lot. It's a London style right? It's got all the colors at least.
I actually didn’t mind the first look!
Yes, I don’t mind it either. Though I think it would look more updated with a blazer.
Me either😊
Same I like it lol
Exactly. I don’t know why they make the dressing rules. The first one looked really good

I actually loved the soft fabrics and light tones... Could be just me but I would wear it tbh.
U can wear light toned chunky loafers that feels more harmonious and not as tough as a black chunky pair ..
Best look put together in this video IMO.
It draws people's attention towards the loafers it's my favorite look of the video imo 💀
Lydia, can we also talk about how cute that hairstyle is?!? It looks so good on you!!!
This hairstyle is the best I've seen you in, it's very flattering
I like your style of clothing. it's good to see how they all go together. i buy stuff and never know how to style them.
You have the best style ever. I feel so clueless when it comes to fashion now that I’m in my 40s. Thank you!!

Hiiiii I love your advice-where did you get your trousers?
Please could you do a video on why high tops make my legs looks short and stubby when I wear them with dresses/shorts?

Those high rise black jeans can go
I love your hair and glasse.
Could you share link to the first a bit loose trousers, if possible? 🙏
первый looc - узкий низ + надо широкий верх. В белом луке - можно узкие брюки.
This feels like one of those fashion rules our moms/grandmothers tell us that isnt actually important
I want these shoes but dont know if I'll look good in them
I like tight look!!
Purchased Valentino chunky loafers and they're too stiff. Do you have any tips to loosen them up.
